Final Thoughts:
Box Office this week was no surprise with Spider Man spreading his web over the competitors. With Spider-Man bringing in $92,000.00 this week it should break a Box Office record when all is said and down. The 2nd spot this week saw last weeks number 1 The Other Woman fall followed by yet another 3rd place finish for Heaven is For Real. This marks the 3rd week since opening it has stayed at the 3rd spot. Falling 2 places this week to Number 4 was Captain America Winter Soldier and Rio 2 rounds out the top 5.

Spider-Man 2 should maintain the top spot next week with the releases of Neighbors and Legends of Oz, Dorothy's Return being the big movies Mothers Day Weekend.

This weeks 30 minute special show for the opening of Spider-Man 2 had several interviews with the stars of the movie talking to Mark as well as the regular junket interviews. First Mark headed to Mountain View, CA to chat with the stars when they headed up to plant trees to save the Owls. I will say during the course of these interviews Jamie Foxx stole the show with his Owl song that has now gone as far as Access Hollywood showing the clip. Also stealing the interview was Emma Stone saying Camera Guy Julian's name. Pretty sure Julian saved that sound bite.

But those sets of interviews are nothing like what contest winner Ivana Vidal did. This 12 year old girl was AMAZING!!! The last time I saw anyone this good was when former contest winners Brooke Lusk and Brittany Young appeared on Mark at the Movies. Ivana has the staying power as these 2 have and is far mature beyond her years. What a GREAT choice for Mark to pick her as the Spider-Man contest winner. I want to see her do more work.

This week the show took on a Spider-Man stunt with Hollywood Stuntman Gary Davis. Hooked to cables and other devices Mark was thrown into a fake wall that crashed down on top of him. For a different effect Mark took a FAKE baby with him. As part of the opening Rachel also threw Mark into a wall. (So Aggressive) :)

Did you know that at time Mark at the Movies is filmed in front of a live studio audience? This weeks studio guest was Facebook Friend Timothy matm 240 timothy

The show did a nice job talking about the movie and delivered solid content.

Guests:
Ebro a former radio intern for Mark S. Allen now on VH-1 show This is Hot 97. Ebro is an El Camino High School Grad of 1993.
