Amgen Tour of California continues in Folsom Today.
Move over Spider-man New Neighbors are in town and it has Seth Rogen and Zac Efron written all over it. Yes this week Neighbors moved in to the top spot in a big way. Making an estimated $51,070,000 to Spider-Man making an estimated $37,200,000 falling to the 2nd spot. The Other Woman fell 1 spot to #3 meaning Heaven is for Real does not make it four in a row at #3 falling 1 spot to #4 and rounding out the top five was Captain America.

Leading off this hour Ken shared the news I began with about Terrence Mitchell being drafted in Show and Tell. Courtney shared her weekend as Emcee at one of two events. Mark had News of the Weird that included a dad catching a ball in his hand with daughter in arm. Marianne's Daily list today talked about famous haircuts. The 5am Club Member was introduced. Mark previewed Google Glass much more to come in the 6am. Today's Question of the Day was What can you do with child or pet in arms. Today's Show us yours was Glasses.
6am:
In this hour Mark showed how Google Glass worked. I WANT I WANT I WANT!!! Amy checked in with the Johnson family who created the Rapid Ramen in Wilton, CA and appeared on Shark Tank. Since that time the business has taken off. Melissa was in Folsom checking out what the riders will be using during the Folsom Time Trials for Amgen Tour. Courtney had a Wobble Stool for her Weird or Worth it. It's Always Weird but it's Worth it maybe not for $179 but worth it. Mustang is gearing up to celebrate their 50th anniversary. Melissa talked with Timmy Dungan from Skratch Lab as they provide meals for the Amgen Riders.
7am:
Today Marianne talked Cherries from Lodi Farmers Market. Courtney introduced us to a young fashion designer from Fairfield HS. Courtney is part of the Student I.C.O.N.S. which was started after a Good Day Challenge. Mark and Ken talked with Maureen Price from Boys and Girls Club where you can win a pair of Google Glass at their event tomorrow night.
8am:
Amgen Tour Live Coverage continued with Melissa getting to know about the riders from the hotel. Mark and Dave travelled the streets of Folsom looking at all that was going on. Julissa talked to two local doctors who donated Google glass for the event Friday night at Boys and Girls Club. Amy was hanging out with Taro from Mikuni's talking about Ramen. Court's Tunes was played. Marianne and Ken talked Cherries from tree to the table with Gotelli Cherries. The #9amtopic was introduced Today's topic... Ohh I'll tell you what I've learned about men?
9am:
The final hour guided by Julissa and Laura took us through the #9amtopic in addition Laura introduced us to Jesse Cook who performed on the Good Day stage before performing at Crest Theater tonight at 8pm. Mark continued driving around Folsom checking out Amgen. Melissa got to know another rider from the hotel. Amy continued learning the art of making and eating noodles from Taro. Courtney had another edition of Pass or Fail on the Red Carpet in her Fashion Forum. Ken's Manly Minute today talked about what woman don't know about men. Today's Final Question of the Day was I like to play it ___ by ear.
Final Thoughts:
As I talked about in my final thought yesterday and briefly in my Opening Statement today Amgen Tour of California hits Folsom today and ALL 3 stations would cover it. Cover it they did. My58 sent Outdoors man, Outdoor Sports Specialist Reporter Brian Hickey to cover it all around town including the festival that takes place before, during and after the time Trial.
Fox40 loaded up the red couch, Paul and Bethany and televised live all morning from Amgen in Folsom. Think about yesterday's Good Day and it was basically a repeat without Cody. They talked to several of the same Amgen Officials as well as checked out local Folsom Bike shops to talk bikes for kids and state of the art bikes for adults.
Not to be left out Good Day also covered Amgen in Folsom. First Sean talked about the street closures in regular news blocks, then Cambi took over those. Melissa was checking out the type of bike and helmet the riders will use today during the time trials before talking food and nutrition with Skratch Lab. After she had her breakfast she headed to the hotel to get to know the riders up close. Mark jumped in Mobile 13 with Camera guy Dave to tour the city of Folsom as set up continues before the race starts at 105pm.
Good Day also talked about the art of cooking Ramen. First with the family who appeared on Shark Tank who created the Top Ramen Perfect Cooker then with Taro from Mikuni's as his mom showed Amy how to properly prepare the noodles for authentic Japanese food.
Google Glass was shown today on Good Day first with Mark as they talked about how you could win them at the Boys and Girls Club of Sacramento at their event on Friday then Julissa talked with 2 Eye doctors who donated the prize. THESE ARE SO COOL. I would love a pair.
Today Courtney brought back another edition of Fashion Forum Pass or Fail on the Red Carpet.
Ken's Manly Minute proves 1 thing..... Men have issues.

Leading off this hour Ken shared the news I began with about Terrence Mitchell being drafted in Show and Tell. Courtney shared her weekend as Emcee at one of two events. Mark had News of the Weird that included a dad catching a ball in his hand with daughter in arm. Marianne's Daily list today talked about famous haircuts. The 5am Club Member was introduced. Mark previewed Google Glass much more to come in the 6am. Today's Question of the Day was What can you do with child or pet in arms. Today's Show us yours was Glasses.
6am:
In this hour Mark showed how Google Glass worked. I WANT I WANT I WANT!!! Amy checked in with the Johnson family who created the Rapid Ramen in Wilton, CA and appeared on Shark Tank. Since that time the business has taken off. Melissa was in Folsom checking out what the riders will be using during the Folsom Time Trials for Amgen Tour. Courtney had a Wobble Stool for her Weird or Worth it. It's Always Weird but it's Worth it maybe not for $179 but worth it. Mustang is gearing up to celebrate their 50th anniversary. Melissa talked with Timmy Dungan from Skratch Lab as they provide meals for the Amgen Riders.
7am:
Today Marianne talked Cherries from Lodi Farmers Market. Courtney introduced us to a young fashion designer from Fairfield HS. Courtney is part of the Student I.C.O.N.S. which was started after a Good Day Challenge. Mark and Ken talked with Maureen Price from Boys and Girls Club where you can win a pair of Google Glass at their event tomorrow night.
8am:
Amgen Tour Live Coverage continued with Melissa getting to know about the riders from the hotel. Mark and Dave travelled the streets of Folsom looking at all that was going on. Julissa talked to two local doctors who donated Google glass for the event Friday night at Boys and Girls Club. Amy was hanging out with Taro from Mikuni's talking about Ramen. Court's Tunes was played. Marianne and Ken talked Cherries from tree to the table with Gotelli Cherries. The #9amtopic was introduced Today's topic... Ohh I'll tell you what I've learned about men?
9am:
The final hour guided by Julissa and Laura took us through the #9amtopic in addition Laura introduced us to Jesse Cook who performed on the Good Day stage before performing at Crest Theater tonight at 8pm. Mark continued driving around Folsom checking out Amgen. Melissa got to know another rider from the hotel. Amy continued learning the art of making and eating noodles from Taro. Courtney had another edition of Pass or Fail on the Red Carpet in her Fashion Forum. Ken's Manly Minute today talked about what woman don't know about men. Today's Final Question of the Day was I like to play it ___ by ear.
Final Thoughts:
As I talked about in my final thought yesterday and briefly in my Opening Statement today Amgen Tour of California hits Folsom today and ALL 3 stations would cover it. Cover it they did. My58 sent Outdoors man, Outdoor Sports Specialist Reporter Brian Hickey to cover it all around town including the festival that takes place before, during and after the time Trial.
Fox40 loaded up the red couch, Paul and Bethany and televised live all morning from Amgen in Folsom. Think about yesterday's Good Day and it was basically a repeat without Cody. They talked to several of the same Amgen Officials as well as checked out local Folsom Bike shops to talk bikes for kids and state of the art bikes for adults.
Not to be left out Good Day also covered Amgen in Folsom. First Sean talked about the street closures in regular news blocks, then Cambi took over those. Melissa was checking out the type of bike and helmet the riders will use today during the time trials before talking food and nutrition with Skratch Lab. After she had her breakfast she headed to the hotel to get to know the riders up close. Mark jumped in Mobile 13 with Camera guy Dave to tour the city of Folsom as set up continues before the race starts at 105pm.
Good Day also talked about the art of cooking Ramen. First with the family who appeared on Shark Tank who created the Top Ramen Perfect Cooker then with Taro from Mikuni's as his mom showed Amy how to properly prepare the noodles for authentic Japanese food.
Google Glass was shown today on Good Day first with Mark as they talked about how you could win them at the Boys and Girls Club of Sacramento at their event on Friday then Julissa talked with 2 Eye doctors who donated the prize. THESE ARE SO COOL. I would love a pair.
Today Courtney brought back another edition of Fashion Forum Pass or Fail on the Red Carpet.
Ken's Manly Minute proves 1 thing..... Men have issues.
