Opening Statement:
Leading off today a bit of a different story to share. For those wondering Where Laura, Zohreen, and Lisa are I have your answers.
Laura will be on CBS13 at Nights until Mid June. She will be returning to CBS 13 and Good Day at that time but you can find her at 4PM, 5PM, and 10 Weeknights on CBS 13. Therefore meaning the 9am hour will be a mixed bag of anchors with Julissa. (Mark, Lori, Cody, Amy, Ken, Marianne)
Zohreen appears to have also moved to the night shift. You can see her at 5pm, 530pm, 6pm, and 10 pm on Fox40 Weeknights. Zohreen appears to be more permanent.
Lisa is also on Nights. She will remain there until Edie and/or Kelly return but to be honest I like her in this spot. You can see Lisa Weeknights on KCRA 3 at 5pm, 6pm, 630pm 10pm (MY58) and 11pm on KCRA 3.

Viewers Voice: Students at a Utah high school are upset after they opened up their yearbooks to find some pictures had been altered to show less skin. The girls say they were never told this would happen, but the school district says there were signs clearly posted that photos could be edited. The superintendent said, “We only apologize in the sense that we want to be more consistent with what we’re trying to do in that sense we can help kids better prepare for their future by knowing how to dress appropriately for things.” Our Viewers Voice question: Should the girl’s appearances been altered or should they been told to change?

In this hour Marianne had the Daily Joe talking about the Super Secret In and Out Burger Menu. Doug The Car Czar was sharing how to save money at the pump.

In this hour Doug talked about hackers hacking in to traffic lights to change them. Julissa was checking out the construction of Bonney Field and was very excited. Mark did an Awesome stunt on the set of Tom Cruise's new movie. Courtney previewed the Nor Cal Freestyle Session Qualification. It was one little girl who stole the show for me with her dancing skills.
8am:
In this hour Tina announced the May Grub Run Winner. Courtney was getting beauty tips from Mickey Williams. Doug was answering Car questions on Facebook. Mark filed a Star Wars report from Pinewood Studios when he was in London. Melissa was checking out HOT Cupps of Coffee in Fairfield. This is not your neighborhood Starbucks. These Baristas greet you with a smile and very little else. Court's Tunes was played and the #9amtopic was introduced. Inspired from the guy who bought $54 cup of coffee from Starbucks It's a little pricy but I can't live without___
9am:
In this hour Mark goes to Starbucks, Melissa serves Cupp Coffee, Tina learns Fire Safety with gutters, Ken's Manly Minute talked about Triple Crown Misses. Cody and Julissa guided us through the hour and today's #9amtopic. Julissa was with Gina from Thrift Town getting yet another GREAT DIY project idea. Tina wants to know where is your favorite room in the house and Mark drinks the coffee but may not sleep ever again. or at least a week.
Final Thoughts:
Fix 50 traffic was not as bad as Monday however it was not as good as it was yesterday. They say Thursday traffic is the worst of the week.
Roseville Graduation has suffered a set back after the stage and logo on the field was destroyed by fire. Roseville High School officials did tell Sean Bennett from CBS 13 / Good Day Sac the Graduation will go on as scheduled.
Last week the City approved the new arena and today on My58 they showed how the Downtown Plaza is getting set for the demolition which will be starting soon to build the new arena. I Can't wait for this to get finished .

Each Thursday it's Pet of the Week and this week The Beatles need a home. Yes, I said the Beatles and no John, Paul, George and Ringo are not back together these are cats. So let's Come Together for these Sargent Peppers and Hey Jude make a sad song better and adopt these little guys without Yoko splitting them up. What's better than getting a cup of coffee? How about Melissa dancing in a walking boot on a broken ankle from Fairfield at a new coffee spot near Travis AFB called Cupp of Coffee. This is not your average coffee house like Starbucks. These baristas are serving you with a smile and not much more as they wear bikinis. However Melissa was quick to point out they do follow all rules to operate a food business and yes they have cup sizes of B C and D for the coffee.
Courtney previewed a dance competition taking place this weekend and 4 of the dancers came into the studio to show their stuff. All 4 dancers did amazing the young girl stole the show. It was confirmed to Today in the News my best friends fiancé knows all the dancers that appeared on Good Day today and will do very well at the competition. '
This Sunday following Good Day Weekend at 11am with Cody and Amy the Car Czar starts his 4th season. I've always enjoyed this show though I know nothing about it. I enjoyed it when it was live and not Prerecorded because of the interaction with Cody and Amy as it transitioned from one show to the next but with the addition of Courtney Dempsey I have started to enjoy it more and more again. Today Doug had 3 segments on Good Day first talking about Gas for your car, street light hackers and viewer Facebook questions. See it Sunday at 11am
To recreate a Dallas mans drink that cost $54.75 Mark went to Starbucks to try it. With some issues at the beginning with the time Mark was able to enjoy this 60 shot drink at the end of the show. Mark may not sleep for a week.
Mark was in London over the weekend and while there he stopped by the Famous Pinewood Studios. Mark filed a Star Wars Episode 7 report however could not report on what he saw. Those not familiar Pinewood is where we first got introduced to the Millennium Falcon in New Hope. Can this movie hurry already?
While Mark was is in London to talk to Emily Blunt and Tom Cruise he was able to perform a Stunt on Edge of Tomorrow set. Mark did well and he even got a face full of crap that we will just call "dirt" when it exploded. Look for a full report on this movie on Mark at the Movies.
Thrifty Thursday only means one thing? Gina from Thrift Town stepped out of her thrifty lab with yet another GREAT DIY project. This weeks theme she took an old bed board and made it into a kids command central. Now the kids have a spot to hang their backpacks up and have all their accessories in one spot. She has a week to come up with something great once again so tune back in next Thursday for Thrifty Thursday.

Mark had News of the Weird that talked about Brad Pitt being attacked on the Red Carpet. The 5am Club Member was introduced. Tina wants to know what to do when a Wedding Couple says no gifts in Question of the Day. Today's Show us yours was Pool.

In this hour Marianne had the Daily Joe talking about the Super Secret In and Out Burger Menu. Doug The Car Czar was sharing how to save money at the pump.
7am:
In this hour Doug talked about hackers hacking in to traffic lights to change them. Julissa was checking out the construction of Bonney Field and was very excited. Mark did an Awesome stunt on the set of Tom Cruise's new movie. Courtney previewed the Nor Cal Freestyle Session Qualification. It was one little girl who stole the show for me with her dancing skills.
8am:
In this hour Tina announced the May Grub Run Winner. Courtney was getting beauty tips from Mickey Williams. Doug was answering Car questions on Facebook. Mark filed a Star Wars report from Pinewood Studios when he was in London. Melissa was checking out HOT Cupps of Coffee in Fairfield. This is not your neighborhood Starbucks. These Baristas greet you with a smile and very little else. Court's Tunes was played and the #9amtopic was introduced. Inspired from the guy who bought $54 cup of coffee from Starbucks It's a little pricy but I can't live without___
9am:
In this hour Mark goes to Starbucks, Melissa serves Cupp Coffee, Tina learns Fire Safety with gutters, Ken's Manly Minute talked about Triple Crown Misses. Cody and Julissa guided us through the hour and today's #9amtopic. Julissa was with Gina from Thrift Town getting yet another GREAT DIY project idea. Tina wants to know where is your favorite room in the house and Mark drinks the coffee but may not sleep ever again. or at least a week.
Final Thoughts:
Fix 50 traffic was not as bad as Monday however it was not as good as it was yesterday. They say Thursday traffic is the worst of the week.
Roseville Graduation has suffered a set back after the stage and logo on the field was destroyed by fire. Roseville High School officials did tell Sean Bennett from CBS 13 / Good Day Sac the Graduation will go on as scheduled.
Last week the City approved the new arena and today on My58 they showed how the Downtown Plaza is getting set for the demolition which will be starting soon to build the new arena. I Can't wait for this to get finished .

Each Thursday it's Pet of the Week and this week The Beatles need a home. Yes, I said the Beatles and no John, Paul, George and Ringo are not back together these are cats. So let's Come Together for these Sargent Peppers and Hey Jude make a sad song better and adopt these little guys without Yoko splitting them up. You can see them at the Front Street Shelter or Saturday at Pups in the Park in McKinley Park a benefit for Front Street Shelter from 10-2pm for just $20.
Sacramento Kings SUPER FAN Barbara Rust aka Sign Lady will be honored today in the ESPN Fan Hall of Fame. Congrats Barbara a recognition well deserved.

What's better than getting a cup of coffee? How about Melissa dancing in a walking boot on a broken ankle from Fairfield at a new coffee spot near Travis AFB called Cupp of Coffee. This is not your average coffee house like Starbucks. These baristas are serving you with a smile and not much more as they wear bikinis. However Melissa was quick to point out they do follow all rules to operate a food business and yes they have cup sizes of B C and D for the coffee.
Courtney previewed a dance competition taking place this weekend and 4 of the dancers came into the studio to show their stuff. All 4 dancers did amazing the young girl stole the show. It was confirmed to Today in the News my best friends fiancé knows all the dancers that appeared on Good Day today and will do very well at the competition. '
This Sunday following Good Day Weekend at 11am with Cody and Amy the Car Czar starts his 4th season. I've always enjoyed this show though I know nothing about it. I enjoyed it when it was live and not Prerecorded because of the interaction with Cody and Amy as it transitioned from one show to the next but with the addition of Courtney Dempsey I have started to enjoy it more and more again. Today Doug had 3 segments on Good Day first talking about Gas for your car, street light hackers and viewer Facebook questions. See it Sunday at 11am
To recreate a Dallas mans drink that cost $54.75 Mark went to Starbucks to try it. With some issues at the beginning with the time Mark was able to enjoy this 60 shot drink at the end of the show. Mark may not sleep for a week.
Mark was in London over the weekend and while there he stopped by the Famous Pinewood Studios. Mark filed a Star Wars Episode 7 report however could not report on what he saw. Those not familiar Pinewood is where we first got introduced to the Millennium Falcon in New Hope. Can this movie hurry already?
While Mark was is in London to talk to Emily Blunt and Tom Cruise he was able to perform a Stunt on Edge of Tomorrow set. Mark did well and he even got a face full of crap that we will just call "dirt" when it exploded. Look for a full report on this movie on Mark at the Movies.
Thrifty Thursday only means one thing? Gina from Thrift Town stepped out of her thrifty lab with yet another GREAT DIY project. This weeks theme she took an old bed board and made it into a kids command central. Now the kids have a spot to hang their backpacks up and have all their accessories in one spot. She has a week to come up with something great once again so tune back in next Thursday for Thrifty Thursday.
Cody has done it again. Colin Furze has made Pyro Hands like his wolverine claws and will be live via Skype on Sunday to talk about it.
