Opening Statement:
Today I will be following a few stories that are coming up on the shows today. First as I talked about last yesterday a warning from Sacramento City to a media station requesting they do not fly over Fix 50 so early in the morning. I will let you know if said station complies.
I am also going to see what Paul and MoJoe thought about American Idol performances. I will have much more on this but will say remember this name.... CJ.

Julissa was back reporting from Sparrow 5 where they offer Art Classes for kids and Adults. and offer 10% off on Friday's if you wear a TuTu. Doug was back talking tips on how Car Dealers trick you into a car. Marianne talked about her kitchen inspection once again and Ken put the hard hat on. In the GREAT 8 Marianne's Kitchen inspection began. Cody and Mark checked out some slippery creatures from the San Diego Zoo. Doug was back answering viewers Facebook questions. Melissa was telling us all kinds of different uses for Cucumbers. No it's not just for salad anymore. Mark had entertainment news that talked about Paul McCartney playing a concert at Candlestick Park. The #9amtopic was introduced and is sure to be a Hot Button Topic. Should California be split into 2 states?
9am:
In the final hour of the day Julissa and Laura got over 200 responses to today's #9amtopic. Tina was with fellow cancer survivor Pam Braun who shared her cookbook ideas and talked about her book signing this weekend. Marianne got and PASSED her Kitchen inspection from the County inspection. Mark, Laura, and Julissa talked to Mary Lambert about Now Glow and today is Thursday so Gina from Thrift Town was in the building with home decor DIY ideas. Melissa was in Oakdale for a drive Thru Yogurt Shop. What a cool idea this is.
Final Thoughts:
As I told you yesterday as well as in today's opening a Media Helicopter was asked not to fly over Fix 50 because of the noise. I recorded the show and can report the station in question DID NOT fly over head this morning also on My58 they talked about a new survey that shows teens are distracted when driving. and Ronald McDonald gets a new outfit. YOU CAN'T CHANGE AN ICONIC FIGURE Real or Fake.
On Fox 40 today the BIG STORY Zohreen is back on in the mornings where she should be. But the other story I was interested in was Idol Chatter. I will tell you I now have 3 I can't stand, 1 I don't mind and 2 that I really like. I agree with Paul and MoJoe this week that Caleb was the BEST of the night and he is my favorite and has been all week but Jena is now my favorite girl. Jessica is okay but I don't think she will win. I disagree with Mojoe that Alex was the best last night. He bores me so much and I feel like he kills songs much like Sam does for me. Ladies STOP this kid is not very good and better not come close to winning. CJ Back your bags because like Paul and MoJoe it's time to say goodbye you butcher songs way too much.
Today on Good Day it was inspection day at Marianne's house. Marianne called in the county health inspection to inspect her kitchen at home and as I anticipated she and her kitchen passed with flying colors. Funny how they choose that kitchen over the actual Good Day Sacramento kitchen.
Also on Good Day Melissa was getting creative with different ways to use cucumbers and she wasn't eating however her guest Tiffany was sucking on them to freshen her breather while Melissa steamed them to get a face cleanse and more. In addition to cucumber class 101 Melissa showed a new device to help keep your pants up with the Kevel and then went to check out a Drive Thru Yogurt in Oakdale.
I am so interested in the Cody Wrigley Field story I hope he writes about it in his book that will be out within the next 5-10 years if all goes well.
Today's Good Day Sacramento was pretty awesome with all they did today adding in my favorite Thursday staple Gina from Thrift Town showing more great DIY projects. But I was already planning to do just Good Day Sacramento tomorrow and late word the Good Day Sacramento crew is going bowling so send your bowling pics to gooddaysac@kmaxtv.com and your pics could get on the air. I last bowled in 1988 my last day of High School at El Camino home of the Eagles and Lisa Gonzalez former Kings dancer and Good Day Sacramento cast member. Not the same year however.

In this hour Doug The Car Czar gave 4 common mistakes made when customers come in for car repair. Julissa was in Roseville checking out Sparrow 5 a shop with all types of furniture and home decor that is refinished. Marianne's Daily Joe showed a 4 minute video of Sacramento highlighting the town.

Julissa was back reporting from Sparrow 5 where they offer Art Classes for kids and Adults. and offer 10% off on Friday's if you wear a TuTu. Speaking of wearing Mark and Courtney wore Travel Underwear and T-shirts that come with pockets for credit card, ID, Passport etc. Mark showed the underwear and Courtney the T-shirt in this Weird or Worth It. Doug was back talking tips on how Car Dealers trick you into a car. Marianne talked about her kitchen inspection once again and Ken put the hard hat on. Melissa was in Oakdale trying out a new device that keeps your zipper up and
8am:
In the GREAT 8 Marianne's Kitchen inspection began. Cody and Mark checked out some slippery creatures from the San Diego Zoo. Doug was back answering viewers Facebook questions. Melissa was telling us all kinds of different uses for Cucumbers. No it's not just for salad anymore. Mark had entertainment news that talked about Paul McCartney playing a concert at Candlestick Park. The #9amtopic was introduced and is sure to be a Hot Button Topic. Should California be split into 2 states?
9am:
In the final hour of the day Julissa and Laura got over 200 responses to today's #9amtopic. Tina was with fellow cancer survivor Pam Braun who shared her cookbook ideas and talked about her book signing this weekend. Marianne got and PASSED her Kitchen inspection from the County inspection. Mark, Laura, and Julissa talked to Mary Lambert about Now Glow and today is Thursday so Gina from Thrift Town was in the building with home decor DIY ideas. Melissa was in Oakdale for a drive Thru Yogurt Shop. What a cool idea this is.
Final Thoughts:
As I told you yesterday as well as in today's opening a Media Helicopter was asked not to fly over Fix 50 because of the noise. I recorded the show and can report the station in question DID NOT fly over head this morning also on My58 they talked about a new survey that shows teens are distracted when driving. and Ronald McDonald gets a new outfit. YOU CAN'T CHANGE AN ICONIC FIGURE Real or Fake.
On Fox 40 today the BIG STORY Zohreen is back on in the mornings where she should be. But the other story I was interested in was Idol Chatter. I will tell you I now have 3 I can't stand, 1 I don't mind and 2 that I really like. I agree with Paul and MoJoe this week that Caleb was the BEST of the night and he is my favorite and has been all week but Jena is now my favorite girl. Jessica is okay but I don't think she will win. I disagree with Mojoe that Alex was the best last night. He bores me so much and I feel like he kills songs much like Sam does for me. Ladies STOP this kid is not very good and better not come close to winning. CJ Back your bags because like Paul and MoJoe it's time to say goodbye you butcher songs way too much.
Today on Good Day it was inspection day at Marianne's house. Marianne called in the county health inspection to inspect her kitchen at home and as I anticipated she and her kitchen passed with flying colors. Funny how they choose that kitchen over the actual Good Day Sacramento kitchen.
Also on Good Day Melissa was getting creative with different ways to use cucumbers and she wasn't eating however her guest Tiffany was sucking on them to freshen her breather while Melissa steamed them to get a face cleanse and more. In addition to cucumber class 101 Melissa showed a new device to help keep your pants up with the Kevel and then went to check out a Drive Thru Yogurt in Oakdale.
I am so interested in the Cody Wrigley Field story I hope he writes about it in his book that will be out within the next 5-10 years if all goes well.
Today's Good Day Sacramento was pretty awesome with all they did today adding in my favorite Thursday staple Gina from Thrift Town showing more great DIY projects. But I was already planning to do just Good Day Sacramento tomorrow and late word the Good Day Sacramento crew is going bowling so send your bowling pics to gooddaysac@kmaxtv.com and your pics could get on the air. I last bowled in 1988 my last day of High School at El Camino home of the Eagles and Lisa Gonzalez former Kings dancer and Good Day Sacramento cast member. Not the same year however.
Not only is Good Day Sacramento bowling but it's Friday so you know what that means.....
