Today besides the low snow, weather in our area Fox40 talked about Cookies with Beans and Brownies with Kale from Cordon Blue in studio. The weather really had everyone on their toes today.
Good Day Sacramento:
430/5am:
Today in Show and Tell Amy's Fiance made a coffee table out of a tree stump and Amy sold it. Also in this hour Mark had News of the Weird that included Denmark launching a new campaign encouraging couples to make babies. The 5am Club Member was introduced and the Question of the day was asked "What was the last spontaneous thing you did?".
6am:
In this hour low snow hits Camino (3000 foot level) and Julissa, Dave, and Tina Vista Del Lago is putting on a Shrek Musical and Ken and Mark got a preview. Mark had his entertainment report that talked about Now Glow
7am:
In this hour Ken talked to Brian Cooley from Cnet about new rearview camera laws. Amy and Ken talked with Mark from Vista Del Lago as they performed another song from Shrek the Musical. in a rare 7am hour Show and Tell Ken talked about the reaction of the end of How I Met Your Mother but Ken did not get the answer from the "True" Good Day HIMYM Expert Cody. So lets hope he gives his opinion tomorrow. Tina built a Mini Snowman.
8am:
In this hour Stumpy the Snow Man took his final ride on top of Mobile 13 as he got off the ride or just lost his head to the wind. Amy and Ken talked to a local Tracy man who is running in the MS Runs US Relay. He will be running from Barstow, CA to Vegas (205 miles). Courtney previewed a Project Runway type Fashion show coming up in West Sacramento. Court's Tunes was played with old TV Theme Songs. The 9amtopic was introduced. A father/photographer started a campaign for fathers to learn to breast feed. Creepy I know but the question is If I could I would.
9am:
In the final hour of the show it was a bit of musical chairs. Laura was there with Ken to start the show and after the first break Julissa was with Laura. In this hour to go with the 9amtopic Julissa talked about what it costs to do a proposal at a baseball stadium. $39 in Pittsburgh $2500 in LA. Stumpy 2.0 was gone before we knew him. Courtney was at Sac High for MISSES Step Program. Cambi went to Old Soul for what people are doing on this April Fools Day and the jokes on her they all had no plans. Ken shared his Manly Minute how to be the cool parent.
Final Thoughts:
BREAKING NEWS! The Weather SUCKS! today and everyone covered it. No this is no April Fools Joke. Low snow hit Camino/Placerville area today and it even closed schools. The storm they said was coming came and it is continuing. This was the story of the day along with April Fools jokes on My58.
On Fox40 they are giving away a NASCAR trip and had Cordon Blue in studio making cookies and brownies for April Fools with Kale and Beans. I would not want to be the person to follow the person who ate those into the work restroom.
On Good Day Amy sold a table made out of a tree and Ken talked about the hatred of How I Met Your Mother's ending in today's show and tell.
Courtney played Court's Tunes before Steppin with MISSES and previewed a fashion show for West Sacramento to prevent Child Abuse.
In a very rare move Good Day brought out Show and Tell in the 7am hour. This was brought up so that Ken could show backlash toward How I Met Your Mother Finale. Ken did not watch the show but was quick to point out the ending was very controversial. I think this should be revisited tomorrow with Cody who is the resident expert of HIMYM. With that said I did watch and I don't disagree with what people are saying but I watched it in support of Cody only seeing the show a couple of time I had no expectations and figured the regulars would get the joke at the end but perhaps not.
Also on Good Day Sacramento Tina and Dave traveled to Camino to cover the the snow and they had so much fun they're antics stole the show. Tina bought treats in the event they got stranded plus they built not one but 2 mini snowmen with the snow, pretzel sticks and corn nuts. Then named it Stumpy and headed toward home. Stumpy wanted to ride on the car and he didn't make it. Stumpy list his head and that was the end but Tina would not be denied she made a new Stumpy but he lasted for less than a minute.
Today was no foolin around with the weather but tomorrow is Wednesday and that means it's Dishin With Tina day so with that said here is what to look forward to the rest of this week....
