Opening Statement:
WOW!! The NCAA Basketball Finals are now set for Monday and at the time of writing this portion a request was made for Keith Brooks and/or Carmichael Dave join Cody in Studio for today's show. I will not know the outcome until the show gets started but Keith did accept the offer pending Cody getting it set up. For the record UConn will take on Kentucky Monday night on CBS.
The other quick story I wanted to share was that after the show is over today Cody will start a week vacation. He WILL be back on Saturday so we only have to suffer through 5 days without Cody.

Nina: Float Therapy
Today Nina did some float therapy! But what is Float Therapy you ask? It is when a person is suspended in water or air or a massive floating platform.
Float therapy simulates zero gravity by dissolving 800-1000 lbs of Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) into approximately 400 gallons of water in a small shallow tank. There are several important benefits to creating this dense saltwater solution. The most immediately recognizable benefit is that a person floating in a float tank will float like a cork in only 10 inches of water, with their face and the top of their body actually poking out of the water. This is regardless of the person’s body type or their ability to float in a swimming pool.

Cambi: Run Rocklin
It’s a fun run that has become popular for families in Rocklin, but also has very special meaning to it. Matt Redding was a well known Rocklin Police Officer but was tragically killed by a DUI driver in 2005.
In 2006, Run Rocklin, which was originally a fun run, shifted its focus to raising money for the Matt Redding Foundation. The Run now attracts nearly 3,000 participants and has raised $64,000 in memory of Matt Redding. Today, Cambi was there for the start of the kid’s fun run and also as people gear up for the events first ever half marathon run. She also chatted with Matt Redding’s parents who attend the run every year.

In this hour Show us your Creative Selfie is the days Show us your topic. The #GDSJustCurious question today was I was totally wrong about? Nina was in Marysville learning and doing Float Therapy. Cambi was in Rocklin for a run honoring fallen Police Officer Matt Redding who was taken by a Drunk Driver. Cody talked with PodCaster David Klein about Game of Thrones and had news headlines from Newseum. Also this hour it's Sunday so Eleanor had her Hollywood Gossip where she talked about makeovers gone wrong.
8am:
In this hour Cambi was checking out a Pedal-rama where everything was on pedals including a custom Sacramento Kings bike. Nina finished up her Float Therapy and looked amazing but then again when doesn't she. Cody talked to Drewski's Food Truck about the classic car show that is benefiting Front Street Shelter. Ella Blue Beauty supplied 3 boy friends with makeup and other products so they can attempt to apply it to their girlfriends. If you remember a couple of months ago Mark, Ken, Jason and Sean did the hair of their wives. Well Jason did Tina's hair so lets hope these guys can do makeup better. Marlene Simon our resident Plant Lady answered viewers questions.
Today's 8 was a very special hour as well. First the return of the Hair Doctor, Shawn L. Brown who looks amazing did a complete makeover the Bradshaw Christian School Girls Basketball team.
This weeks Dishin with Tina took a break from Good Day crew to bring a very special In Loving Memory Of Joey Edition from Better Foods Deli in Roseville. We lost Joey last month and today's edition pays tribute to him and his Roseville Deli.

The Stark Family is in the Building... Cody's kids Colin and Chelsea as well as her teacher and son joined Queen Stark Carol in the studio to watch the show. Also in this hour we met the moms of Social Media who talked about their blogs and Facebook pages. The boyfriend/Girlfriend makeovers got revealed. The girls said the guys did good but lets be honest without training guys cannot do girls makeup they did not look good at all in my opinion and the girls lied to make them feel better but it was still fun watching and props to all for trying and allowing. Cambi was checking out a group to meet people. Today they played Frisbee Golf but they offer other events. Nina was checking out the Nostalgia reunion at Sacramento Raceway. Marlene answered more Plant questions. Finally 3 of the 8 girls from BCHS revealed their makeovers and all 3 looked AMAZING!!!
10am:
In this hour Ella Blue gave Makeup tips to viewers. Cambi met a husband and wife who met at the XOSO League. Nina continued from Sac Raceway. The Plant Lady made a miniature garden. Lori had Hot Headlines including Jamie Lynn Spears looking amazing. Ben from Empire Comics gives you a complete guide of Captain America Comics FREE Comic Book Day is May 3rd. The final 5 of the BCHS Basketball Team revealed from the Hair Doctor.

On today's show Nina was Floating for Float Therapy in Marysville, CA. After she was done floating she was checking out Heart Pumping edge of your seat action at Sacramento Raceway for the Annual Nostalgia reunion.
Cambi was busy this morning first checking out the Rocklin Run for Matthew Redding. After she was done here she headed to Pedal-rama in Sacramento and then checked out XOSO Sports learning what they offer and then met a local couple who met through the group and later married.
The theme for today's show was Make Over and more makeovers. First the 3 lucky guys got to makeover their girlfriends and while the effort was there and the guys did do the best they could lets leave the girls to the professionals or themselves. Julie from Ella Blue did assist one of the girls after with a cat eye. I have no clue what that is and she answered viewer questions in the 10 am hour. Plus it's always GREAT to see Marlene Simon help viewers makeover their plants
The Makeovers continued with one of my FAVORITE PEOPLE ON EARTH!!! The Hair Doctor aka Shawn L Brown made over 8 girls from BCHS Basketball team and they looked like a million bucks and while the girls reveal was amazing Shawn was also amazing. I cried the first time I saw her today with all her energy she has and how amazing she looked and is doing from her surgery. Nice Job Shawn.
Cody got to talk to Drewski's about a cool event they are having today with Classic Cars. Ben from Empire Comics was in the building talking about Captain America. The Stark family was also in studio today. Always great to see them.
Lori did the news as she normally does on Sunday but she also talked with a group of moms who started blogs about being moms. Housewives of Social Media is the group and these ladies are full of energy. Lori also gave us Hot Headlines.
A Sunday staple that I know I love is Ms. Eleanor. I love her Ask Eleanor segments with the Hollywood Gossip.
Sundays are not complete without Dishin With Tina. In the middle of a Good Day Sacramento Cast edition Tina took time out to honor a fallen friend and Roseville native who was lost last month. So today she honored Joey and The Better Deli in this weeks edition of Dishin With Tina. Nice touch Tina.
Overall the show today was pretty great as well as the entire weekend. So with that I say thank you to Cody and the entire weekend crew for all they do and now we can flashback to the 80's at least for tomorrow anyway and for what's ahead for the rest of the week.....

In this hour Show us your Creative Selfie is the days Show us your topic. The #GDSJustCurious question today was I was totally wrong about? Nina was in Marysville learning and doing Float Therapy. Cambi was in Rocklin for a run honoring fallen Police Officer Matt Redding who was taken by a Drunk Driver. Cody talked with PodCaster David Klein about Game of Thrones and had news headlines from Newseum. Also this hour it's Sunday so Eleanor had her Hollywood Gossip where she talked about makeovers gone wrong.
8am:
In this hour Cambi was checking out a Pedal-rama where everything was on pedals including a custom Sacramento Kings bike. Nina finished up her Float Therapy and looked amazing but then again when doesn't she. Cody talked to Drewski's Food Truck about the classic car show that is benefiting Front Street Shelter. Ella Blue Beauty supplied 3 boy friends with makeup and other products so they can attempt to apply it to their girlfriends. If you remember a couple of months ago Mark, Ken, Jason and Sean did the hair of their wives. Well Jason did Tina's hair so lets hope these guys can do makeup better. Marlene Simon our resident Plant Lady answered viewers questions.
Today's 8 was a very special hour as well. First the return of the Hair Doctor, Shawn L. Brown who looks amazing did a complete makeover the Bradshaw Christian School Girls Basketball team.
This weeks Dishin with Tina took a break from Good Day crew to bring a very special In Loving Memory Of Joey Edition from Better Foods Deli in Roseville. We lost Joey last month and today's edition pays tribute to him and his Roseville Deli.

The Stark Family is in the Building... Cody's kids Colin and Chelsea as well as her teacher and son joined Queen Stark Carol in the studio to watch the show. Also in this hour we met the moms of Social Media who talked about their blogs and Facebook pages. The boyfriend/Girlfriend makeovers got revealed. The girls said the guys did good but lets be honest without training guys cannot do girls makeup they did not look good at all in my opinion and the girls lied to make them feel better but it was still fun watching and props to all for trying and allowing. Cambi was checking out a group to meet people. Today they played Frisbee Golf but they offer other events. Nina was checking out the Nostalgia reunion at Sacramento Raceway. Marlene answered more Plant questions. Finally 3 of the 8 girls from BCHS revealed their makeovers and all 3 looked AMAZING!!!
10am:
In this hour Ella Blue gave Makeup tips to viewers. Cambi met a husband and wife who met at the XOSO League. Nina continued from Sac Raceway. The Plant Lady made a miniature garden. Lori had Hot Headlines including Jamie Lynn Spears looking amazing. Ben from Empire Comics gives you a complete guide of Captain America Comics FREE Comic Book Day is May 3rd. The final 5 of the BCHS Basketball Team revealed from the Hair Doctor.

On today's show Nina was Floating for Float Therapy in Marysville, CA. After she was done floating she was checking out Heart Pumping edge of your seat action at Sacramento Raceway for the Annual Nostalgia reunion.
Cambi was busy this morning first checking out the Rocklin Run for Matthew Redding. After she was done here she headed to Pedal-rama in Sacramento and then checked out XOSO Sports learning what they offer and then met a local couple who met through the group and later married.
The theme for today's show was Make Over and more makeovers. First the 3 lucky guys got to makeover their girlfriends and while the effort was there and the guys did do the best they could lets leave the girls to the professionals or themselves. Julie from Ella Blue did assist one of the girls after with a cat eye. I have no clue what that is and she answered viewer questions in the 10 am hour. Plus it's always GREAT to see Marlene Simon help viewers makeover their plants
The Makeovers continued with one of my FAVORITE PEOPLE ON EARTH!!! The Hair Doctor aka Shawn L Brown made over 8 girls from BCHS Basketball team and they looked like a million bucks and while the girls reveal was amazing Shawn was also amazing. I cried the first time I saw her today with all her energy she has and how amazing she looked and is doing from her surgery. Nice Job Shawn.
Cody got to talk to Drewski's about a cool event they are having today with Classic Cars. Ben from Empire Comics was in the building talking about Captain America. The Stark family was also in studio today. Always great to see them.
Lori did the news as she normally does on Sunday but she also talked with a group of moms who started blogs about being moms. Housewives of Social Media is the group and these ladies are full of energy. Lori also gave us Hot Headlines.
A Sunday staple that I know I love is Ms. Eleanor. I love her Ask Eleanor segments with the Hollywood Gossip.
Sundays are not complete without Dishin With Tina. In the middle of a Good Day Sacramento Cast edition Tina took time out to honor a fallen friend and Roseville native who was lost last month. So today she honored Joey and The Better Deli in this weeks edition of Dishin With Tina. Nice touch Tina.
Overall the show today was pretty great as well as the entire weekend. So with that I say thank you to Cody and the entire weekend crew for all they do and now we can flashback to the 80's at least for tomorrow anyway and for what's ahead for the rest of the week.....
