Opening Statement:
Please allow me to get something out that has been bothering me since yesterday. Yesterday was the 1 year anniversary for the Boston Marathon Bombing and if you hadn't heard some idiot left 2 backpacks near the finish line. Why would people do this? What goes through peoples heads. Luckily from reports I read all it was inside the backpack was confetti but later it was changed to a rice cooker either way it doesn't make it right. This city is on edge. These people tried to remember those we lost and those who got injured and this idiot has to do this? STOP IT!!! Get a CLUE people. What you might think is funny could have hurt a lot of people not to mention the first responders and bomb squad. As my mom taught me Think before you do.

On My58 They previewed new Stockton PD recruits as they take to the course. Stockton Chefs prepare for Asparagus Festival with a Burger and if you have kids going to Prom have you had the "Talk" yet.

Today on Fox40 Cafe Bernardo was in the kitchen cooking up Asparagus Eggs Benedict. Stockton is looking for new Police Recruits so today they put the course to the test. Amy Griffith was showing her Prenatal Yoga tips and Prayer Canvas has traveled all over the world and this weekend will be at Fenway Park honoring those from Boston.

430/5am:
The Band is back together. Marianne, Ken, Cody, Mark, Courtney, Tina all made appearances this hour. Tina did a tease for a 6am story. Ken lead off Show and Tell talking about his recent Jury Duty and sharing the elevator with the defendant he just got off in the not guilty verdict. Cody shared vacation photos. Mark had News of the weird with one 3 year old getting stuck in a claw machine which inspired today's #Questionoftheday When was the last time you got stuck? Marianne had her Daily list talking about Allergies and how you can help prevent them for woman. Today's Show Us Your Topic is Eyebrows because Cody is taking one for the team getting his done today.
6am:
In the 6am hour Marianne talked about the Smithsonian getting a T Rex exhibit and want people to submit a T Rex dance so Mark and Cody lead it off. Tina was with a Kooky Collector who collects Clothespins and has over 4000 in her collection. Amy was at Pour House for Eggs Benedict day showing 5 of 10 different creations including Philly Cheesesteak. Doug is in New York at the Auto Show.
7am:
In this hour Amy finished with Pour House and 5 more Eggs Benedict including 1 with a Belgian Waffle. Cambi walked the new finished retrofit Forest Hill Bridge. Doug was back with more from the NY Auto Show. Courtney showed us new swimsuits from Fit 4 You Swimwear. Tina continued with Sandra Fields and her Kooky Collection plus told of her book as well as her husbands book.
8am:
In this hour Cody and Amy joined together so Amy could torture Cody with getting his eyebrows done This hour was just a get to know you and one other person getting his done first. Mark, Ken and Marianne talked with Jane Goodall about the movie Bears coming out Friday. Agent Leigh Steinberg was in studio talking to Ken about all things in being an Agent, his new book and the movie Jerry McGuire. Cambi was terrified walking the Forest Hill Bridge. Teens Tunes was played and Today's #9amtopic was introduced Today's Question #NoShame I do it anyway.
9am:
In this hour the wonderful Julissa and Laura guided us throughout the hour and today's #9amtopic but Amy completed her beautiful torture of Cody who not only got his eyebrows done but his nose as well. Mark was checking out a cool event for kids from Panera Bread where they teach kids to make a load then they take one loaf home and donate the other to the food bank. Cambi could not wait to get off the Foresthill bridge and Ken's Manly Minute talked about things men love to do that seem a bit girly like use shower gels that smell nice. I do. Today is also Dishin With Tina day and today Duck Nook from Stockton was in studio serving deli sous foods. The final question of the day was what was one thing your mom/dad taught you how to cook?
Final Thoughts:
With only 2 days left in the week I thought I was going to have to cancel My58 for the day with the lack of content they had but I was able to find some stories including Mae in Stockton putting her best foot forward going through the obstacle course for Police recruits. I will do My58 again on Thursday but not Friday.
Fox40 had Author Amy Griffith in studio showing pregnant moms how to work out with her Yoga tips and they too celebrated Eggs Benedict day with Cafe Bernardo in the kitchen. They also where in Stockton going through the Police course.
Today on Good Day it was so awesome having almost everyone back. The only person missing was Audrey so that meant Tina covered a Kooky Collection because Julissa had to help cover the CBS 13 news from 5-7am. Tina did a GREAT job and I loved seeing all those Clothes pins... Who knew they had so many.
Mark was in studio with News of the Weird and talking Bears the movie before heading to Panera Bread for kids that make the bread then donate to charity.
I love Cambi but felt so bad for her being 700 feet above ground on the bridge as a person terrified of heights since falling off my roof but then learning how to repel off of one later in life I know her pain. Yes I am afraid of heights because helping my dad one day I fell off after missing the ladder but then I always wanted to be a firefighter so I learned how to repel from a building only to blow out my knee on another fall from a high place a year later killing that dream.
Why is today's title called Beautiful Torture? We all love are men/women to look nicely groomed so today Amy took Cody to look nice but speaking from experience getting eyebrows/nose waxed on a guy is torture. It hurts like you wouldn't believe even though it does look good afterwards it's still painful during the process. Plus in Ken's Manly Minute he talked about things made for woman but men like them too such as shower gel. My BFF got me started on using them when I was heavier and u still use today because as a bigger person who sweat a lot you want to smell good and the gels help as well as hand sanitizers so yes it's beautiful torture.
I live for Dishin With Tina. Long time members of Good Day Sacramento may remember Nick's Neighborhood Joint so when Nick left Good Day Sacramento Tina took over with Dishin With Tina and today she brought us Duck Nook from Stockton. No word where next weeks edition will be from so tune into Good Day Sacramento Sunday from 7-11am to find out together.
For the rest of the week Good Day Sacramento has a lot planned including Gina from Thrift Town.

On My58 They previewed new Stockton PD recruits as they take to the course. Stockton Chefs prepare for Asparagus Festival with a Burger and if you have kids going to Prom have you had the "Talk" yet.
Fox40:
Today on Fox40 Cafe Bernardo was in the kitchen cooking up Asparagus Eggs Benedict. Stockton is looking for new Police Recruits so today they put the course to the test. Amy Griffith was showing her Prenatal Yoga tips and Prayer Canvas has traveled all over the world and this weekend will be at Fenway Park honoring those from Boston.

The Band is back together. Marianne, Ken, Cody, Mark, Courtney, Tina all made appearances this hour. Tina did a tease for a 6am story. Ken lead off Show and Tell talking about his recent Jury Duty and sharing the elevator with the defendant he just got off in the not guilty verdict. Cody shared vacation photos. Mark had News of the weird with one 3 year old getting stuck in a claw machine which inspired today's #Questionoftheday When was the last time you got stuck? Marianne had her Daily list talking about Allergies and how you can help prevent them for woman. Today's Show Us Your Topic is Eyebrows because Cody is taking one for the team getting his done today.
6am:
In the 6am hour Marianne talked about the Smithsonian getting a T Rex exhibit and want people to submit a T Rex dance so Mark and Cody lead it off. Tina was with a Kooky Collector who collects Clothespins and has over 4000 in her collection. Amy was at Pour House for Eggs Benedict day showing 5 of 10 different creations including Philly Cheesesteak. Doug is in New York at the Auto Show.
7am:
In this hour Amy finished with Pour House and 5 more Eggs Benedict including 1 with a Belgian Waffle. Cambi walked the new finished retrofit Forest Hill Bridge. Doug was back with more from the NY Auto Show. Courtney showed us new swimsuits from Fit 4 You Swimwear. Tina continued with Sandra Fields and her Kooky Collection plus told of her book as well as her husbands book.
8am:
In this hour Cody and Amy joined together so Amy could torture Cody with getting his eyebrows done This hour was just a get to know you and one other person getting his done first. Mark, Ken and Marianne talked with Jane Goodall about the movie Bears coming out Friday. Agent Leigh Steinberg was in studio talking to Ken about all things in being an Agent, his new book and the movie Jerry McGuire. Cambi was terrified walking the Forest Hill Bridge. Teens Tunes was played and Today's #9amtopic was introduced Today's Question #NoShame I do it anyway.
9am:
In this hour the wonderful Julissa and Laura guided us throughout the hour and today's #9amtopic but Amy completed her beautiful torture of Cody who not only got his eyebrows done but his nose as well. Mark was checking out a cool event for kids from Panera Bread where they teach kids to make a load then they take one loaf home and donate the other to the food bank. Cambi could not wait to get off the Foresthill bridge and Ken's Manly Minute talked about things men love to do that seem a bit girly like use shower gels that smell nice. I do. Today is also Dishin With Tina day and today Duck Nook from Stockton was in studio serving deli sous foods. The final question of the day was what was one thing your mom/dad taught you how to cook?
Final Thoughts:
With only 2 days left in the week I thought I was going to have to cancel My58 for the day with the lack of content they had but I was able to find some stories including Mae in Stockton putting her best foot forward going through the obstacle course for Police recruits. I will do My58 again on Thursday but not Friday.
Fox40 had Author Amy Griffith in studio showing pregnant moms how to work out with her Yoga tips and they too celebrated Eggs Benedict day with Cafe Bernardo in the kitchen. They also where in Stockton going through the Police course.
Today on Good Day it was so awesome having almost everyone back. The only person missing was Audrey so that meant Tina covered a Kooky Collection because Julissa had to help cover the CBS 13 news from 5-7am. Tina did a GREAT job and I loved seeing all those Clothes pins... Who knew they had so many.
Mark was in studio with News of the Weird and talking Bears the movie before heading to Panera Bread for kids that make the bread then donate to charity.
I love Cambi but felt so bad for her being 700 feet above ground on the bridge as a person terrified of heights since falling off my roof but then learning how to repel off of one later in life I know her pain. Yes I am afraid of heights because helping my dad one day I fell off after missing the ladder but then I always wanted to be a firefighter so I learned how to repel from a building only to blow out my knee on another fall from a high place a year later killing that dream.
Why is today's title called Beautiful Torture? We all love are men/women to look nicely groomed so today Amy took Cody to look nice but speaking from experience getting eyebrows/nose waxed on a guy is torture. It hurts like you wouldn't believe even though it does look good afterwards it's still painful during the process. Plus in Ken's Manly Minute he talked about things made for woman but men like them too such as shower gel. My BFF got me started on using them when I was heavier and u still use today because as a bigger person who sweat a lot you want to smell good and the gels help as well as hand sanitizers so yes it's beautiful torture.
I live for Dishin With Tina. Long time members of Good Day Sacramento may remember Nick's Neighborhood Joint so when Nick left Good Day Sacramento Tina took over with Dishin With Tina and today she brought us Duck Nook from Stockton. No word where next weeks edition will be from so tune into Good Day Sacramento Sunday from 7-11am to find out together.
For the rest of the week Good Day Sacramento has a lot planned including Gina from Thrift Town.
