Topics I want to talk about today are Facebook, Idol and the day.
Over the past week when posting photos to go with the blog I had to put in a security code. Okay fine but then Wednesday it started warning people that reading it was a potential harmful act and to enter into WordPress or Google. REALLY FACEBOOK!! I have been doing this for almost a year and now you want to scare people away saying it could be a virus? Fix your settings and stop scaring off my readers. I ASSURE ALL OF YOU NOTHING from Today in the News is spam or harmful.
Idol Chatter should be on Fox40 today and today I felt Alex was the worst last night. You killed a classic and now it's time you go home and Caleb was the BEST of the night I think.. But more on this later.

Fox40: I kept Fox in the mix today mainly for Idol Chatter so besides that they did talk about a controversial Rolling Stone Cover with Julia Louis Dreyfus on the cover with a back tattoo as well as Mega Family Expo coming up this Saturday.
Good Day Sacramento:
430/5am:
Ken is not in at this hour so Marianne and Julissa covered it. Julissa shared her Show and tell twice talking about her daughter saying the darndest things and making for a funny story. Because the story was told twice Mark also chimed in when his now daughter yelled out that a woman was smoking. Marianne had a Garden Daily list. The Question of the day was Favorite pain remedy and today's 5am Club Member is from Cairo Egypt watching online. Today is Throwback Thursday so Today's Show us yours was Easter Pictures.
6am:
Melissa was in Roseville introducing a local husband and wife to Joe Cross aka Joe the Juicer. Mark talked to Petri Hawkins Byrd about Elk Grove Teen Idol. Julissa showed a fun app for App of the week where you can test your own knowledge on movies.
7am:
Melissa and Joe the Juicer was back as he gave tips and tricks of Juicing. Mark was back with Petri Hawkins Byrd as Zoey and Grace performed on the Good Day Stage as part of Elk Grove Teen Idol. Marianne was with Raleys as we celebrate National Grilled Cheese Sandwich month and day this Saturday with making the sandwich with a twist.
8am:
This is still the BEST hour for me. Today Marianne and Julissa talked to Shawn Wayans who will be at Tommy T's this weekend. Mark was getting info on this weekends Elk Grove Soap Box Derby. Mark brought Petri Byrd with him. Courtney was at California Loan and Jewelry checking out vintage guitars. Melissa was in Roseville still talking with, trying Joe the Juicers Favorite Juice to make. The 9amtopic was introduced with Prom Season around the corner studies are out about the cost of going but today the topic is.... I know it's expensive, but I still have to spend money on.
9am:
In the final hour of the day Gina from Thrift Town gave a GREAT 3 part Fashion Show for Prom for $40 or less. Melissa was getting her workout in at Body Heat Yoga in Rocklin. Courtney was getting a mini guitar concert and California Loan and Jewelry. Mark went racing in the streets of Elk Grove in Soap Box Derby Car. Tina was checking out a sister Ice Cream shop that takes ice cream and candy bars and makes them into a pretty cool combination. Because Ken was not in today Manly Minute was not shown. Shawn Wayans came back after being gone for a few minutes. Tina's final question was What is your favorite Ice Cream Combo
Final Thoughts:
With much more coming up on no Ken on today's Good Day Sacramento in just a few minutes I'm going to start with Shawn Wayans being on 2 shows.
Today on Good Day Sacramento Comedian Shawn Wayans appeared on Good Day Sacramento only to appear on Fox40 and then he came back to Good Day Sacramento. Why? My guess he was scheduled to appear on both which is what he did but with Ken being off Good Day Sacramento opened a slot for him to come back in the 9 but I've never seen this before where a guest appears leaves and then comes back? Is it because Good Day Sacramento has such a good relationship with Tommy T's? Is it because and I'm only being honest the first part of his visit was awkward with both Marianne and Julissa calling him Damian, Marlon and more or is it because Shawn loves Good Day Sacramento so much he could not resist but either way I felt his 9am visit went much better with Julissa and Laura.
Now on to Fox and Idol Chatter. While I agree Caleb was the BEST of the night What in the H*** is Paul listening to? Sam and Alex duet was not the best of the night and Alex SUCKED on the Police song. He killed it and it was awful. I think Paul listens with the sound off and just has the words on the screen. Do I think Alex goes home? No that should go to Sam who shouldn't be there or CJ who needs to go along time ago too with his missing notes far more than hitting them. But if Alex can be put out to pasture it would end this love affair he has on Paul who also claims Red Hot Chili Peppers are better torture than water boarding. I'll stop there before I say anything else.
Good Day Sacramento Where was Ken? No clue because his Manly Minute was planned according to Show Info Page. But when one or 2 are gone the show must go on and like always Good Day Sacramento did go on and deliver like they always do.
Mark previewed the Elk Grove Teen Idol hosted by Judge Judy Bailiff Petri Hawkins Byrd who lives in the area. After talking Teens Mark headed to Elk Grove to preview and challenge a 3 time Soap Box Derby Winner in a race. Mark didn't win.
Courtney Checked out vintage guitars for sale at California Loan and Jewelry with Warren.
Tina talked about Celebrate Davis 100 and how she will be there this Saturday for Good Day Sacramento handing out Red Ropes. Then she went to Cleary's Ice Cream to create the ultimate ice cream with Candy bars used.
Melissa was in Roseville with Joe Cross aka Joe the Juicer getting tips on juicing and the health benefits from it. After that she went to hot yoga to get her workout in.
It's Thursday so it's Gina from Thrift Town day showing beautiful dresses and accessories for Prom for under $40 and yes they had suits for the guys too.
Tomorrow is Friday so we can start to get excited for Cody's return on Saturday I'm going to guess if Ken is back his manly minute from today will too but I can only guess. But I can tell you to tune in from 430-10 for lots of GREAT stuff.

Fox40: I kept Fox in the mix today mainly for Idol Chatter so besides that they did talk about a controversial Rolling Stone Cover with Julia Louis Dreyfus on the cover with a back tattoo as well as Mega Family Expo coming up this Saturday.
Good Day Sacramento:
430/5am:
Ken is not in at this hour so Marianne and Julissa covered it. Julissa shared her Show and tell twice talking about her daughter saying the darndest things and making for a funny story. Because the story was told twice Mark also chimed in when his now daughter yelled out that a woman was smoking. Marianne had a Garden Daily list. The Question of the day was Favorite pain remedy and today's 5am Club Member is from Cairo Egypt watching online. Today is Throwback Thursday so Today's Show us yours was Easter Pictures.
6am:
Melissa was in Roseville introducing a local husband and wife to Joe Cross aka Joe the Juicer. Mark talked to Petri Hawkins Byrd about Elk Grove Teen Idol. Julissa showed a fun app for App of the week where you can test your own knowledge on movies.
7am:
Melissa and Joe the Juicer was back as he gave tips and tricks of Juicing. Mark was back with Petri Hawkins Byrd as Zoey and Grace performed on the Good Day Stage as part of Elk Grove Teen Idol. Marianne was with Raleys as we celebrate National Grilled Cheese Sandwich month and day this Saturday with making the sandwich with a twist.
8am:
This is still the BEST hour for me. Today Marianne and Julissa talked to Shawn Wayans who will be at Tommy T's this weekend. Mark was getting info on this weekends Elk Grove Soap Box Derby. Mark brought Petri Byrd with him. Courtney was at California Loan and Jewelry checking out vintage guitars. Melissa was in Roseville still talking with, trying Joe the Juicers Favorite Juice to make. The 9amtopic was introduced with Prom Season around the corner studies are out about the cost of going but today the topic is.... I know it's expensive, but I still have to spend money on.
9am:
In the final hour of the day Gina from Thrift Town gave a GREAT 3 part Fashion Show for Prom for $40 or less. Melissa was getting her workout in at Body Heat Yoga in Rocklin. Courtney was getting a mini guitar concert and California Loan and Jewelry. Mark went racing in the streets of Elk Grove in Soap Box Derby Car. Tina was checking out a sister Ice Cream shop that takes ice cream and candy bars and makes them into a pretty cool combination. Because Ken was not in today Manly Minute was not shown. Shawn Wayans came back after being gone for a few minutes. Tina's final question was What is your favorite Ice Cream Combo
Final Thoughts:
With much more coming up on no Ken on today's Good Day Sacramento in just a few minutes I'm going to start with Shawn Wayans being on 2 shows.
Today on Good Day Sacramento Comedian Shawn Wayans appeared on Good Day Sacramento only to appear on Fox40 and then he came back to Good Day Sacramento. Why? My guess he was scheduled to appear on both which is what he did but with Ken being off Good Day Sacramento opened a slot for him to come back in the 9 but I've never seen this before where a guest appears leaves and then comes back? Is it because Good Day Sacramento has such a good relationship with Tommy T's? Is it because and I'm only being honest the first part of his visit was awkward with both Marianne and Julissa calling him Damian, Marlon and more or is it because Shawn loves Good Day Sacramento so much he could not resist but either way I felt his 9am visit went much better with Julissa and Laura.
Now on to Fox and Idol Chatter. While I agree Caleb was the BEST of the night What in the H*** is Paul listening to? Sam and Alex duet was not the best of the night and Alex SUCKED on the Police song. He killed it and it was awful. I think Paul listens with the sound off and just has the words on the screen. Do I think Alex goes home? No that should go to Sam who shouldn't be there or CJ who needs to go along time ago too with his missing notes far more than hitting them. But if Alex can be put out to pasture it would end this love affair he has on Paul who also claims Red Hot Chili Peppers are better torture than water boarding. I'll stop there before I say anything else.
Good Day Sacramento Where was Ken? No clue because his Manly Minute was planned according to Show Info Page. But when one or 2 are gone the show must go on and like always Good Day Sacramento did go on and deliver like they always do.
Mark previewed the Elk Grove Teen Idol hosted by Judge Judy Bailiff Petri Hawkins Byrd who lives in the area. After talking Teens Mark headed to Elk Grove to preview and challenge a 3 time Soap Box Derby Winner in a race. Mark didn't win.
Courtney Checked out vintage guitars for sale at California Loan and Jewelry with Warren.
Tina talked about Celebrate Davis 100 and how she will be there this Saturday for Good Day Sacramento handing out Red Ropes. Then she went to Cleary's Ice Cream to create the ultimate ice cream with Candy bars used.
Melissa was in Roseville with Joe Cross aka Joe the Juicer getting tips on juicing and the health benefits from it. After that she went to hot yoga to get her workout in.
It's Thursday so it's Gina from Thrift Town day showing beautiful dresses and accessories for Prom for under $40 and yes they had suits for the guys too.
Tomorrow is Friday so we can start to get excited for Cody's return on Saturday I'm going to guess if Ken is back his manly minute from today will too but I can only guess. But I can tell you to tune in from 430-10 for lots of GREAT stuff.
