Opening Statement:
The Box Office this week had a shake up in the top spot. The Other Woman starring Cameron Diaz, Lesley Mann, and Kate Upton bested Captain America Winter Soldier. which fell to the #2 spot. Rounding out the top 5 at #3 Heaven is for Real for Greg Kinnear with yet another nice showing. Followed by Rio 2 at the 4th spot and Brick Mansion which stars the late Paul Walker in the 5th spot. I am no professional when it comes to predicting but it is my guess The Other Woman soared to the top spot after everyone watched the interview from Rachel on this weeks Mark at the Movies when the trio broke into song, singing Jennifer Lopez I Luh Yo Papi.

It's also Motivational Monday so KAIA Fit gave workout tips for getting back into and looking good in your Bikini. Meritage Hotel was in the Fox40 kitchen talking about their event May 10.

Leading off Show and Tell today Courtney received a plate made from a local Carmichael woman with her face on it. Ken met an old school friend of Julissa. Julissa shared pictures and video from the Sac Republic game including Mark yelling goal too early. Marianne's Daily list today gave facts of George Clooney's soon to be bride. Today's 5am Club Member was introduced. Today's Question of the Day was What would your Super Hero name be and today's Show us yours was Superhero. Mark's daughter Madison prepares to jump from a plane for her 18th birthday.
6am:
In this hour Madison starts preparing for her jump and silently I am extremely nervous for her. I would went a direct line to Laura Skirde or Cody for constant weather updates. Why I have no idea. Melissa is taking a challenge this week on living on $25 worth of food. So she went shopping at Winco in Roseville. Julissa showed the App of the Week that brings beautiful art right to your TV, phone, Ipad etc. and available for both Iphone and Android. Marianne had her Daily Joe that showed dolphins swimming with a swimmer to protect him from sharks.
7am:
In this hour Melissa shows all she picked up for under $25 at Winco. Cedric The Entertainer stopped by to talk about his show on TVLand. Ken and Marianne talked to Home Depot about new battery powered lawn tools. Mark's daughter Madison boarded plane, jumped from plane and landed safely from plane. Mark's face says it all with the relief on his face that she was Safe Home. GREAT Moment that I will talk more about in Final Thoughts.
8am:
In this hour Mark and Madison recap her jump. Melissa prepares meals she bought on budget. Dr. Phil stopped by to talk about his shows this week. Marianne talked to a coin expert about a coin show coming up May 2-3rd in Sacramento. Courtney gave the back story of 2 ladies who are survivors and will be getting a makeover. Today's #9amtopic is about the Racist that owns the Clippers what the NBA should do about it and him.
9am:
In this hour the HOT Button #9amtopic was guided through with Julissa and Laura, In addition the 2 ladies talked with Denny's in Lodi about their Grand Slam Celebration Reopening tomorrow after they closed for remodelling. Courtney shared the back story of Veronica and Chris in the 8am hour and in the 9am hour their makeovers were revealed and the ladies looked amazing. Mark and Madison talked to the crew that assisted Madison in her Sky Dive and she revealed she wanted to go again. Melissa talked to a message therapist, Rebecca Henderson who suffers from blindness and how she has overcome her disability to give back (Much more on this in Final Thoughts).
Final Thoughts:
Today Fox40 talked to TMZ Harvey Levin regarding the tape they released from the LA Clippers owner. Harvey said they held onto this recording for 8 days before releasing it so that they could check all facts and prove that it was in fact the owners voice, words and not at all doctored. They also talked to Magic Johnson prior to releasing and though he was shocked he was reserved up until the point of hearing the tape and awful things said.
Much like the Fox40 Viewers Voice Good Day also had the topic for their #9amtopic and both had some very interesting comments that had me shaking my head. I will never understand why our world has so much hate and why some found the owners comments okay. One of my friends is black as well as Courtney, Ken, Julian who I consider family my BEST friend is Asian as well as Tina I would be devastated if someone told me I was no longer allowed to be friends with them because of the color of their skin. But after yesterday and today I am tired of talking about it and today is a Happy day because we still have GOOD/GREAT people in our world who care and give to others.
Today on Good Day Courtney was there as 2 beautiful ladies got makeovers after going through cancer treatments.
Melissa introduced us to a local woman who was a computer programmer who suffered from a Pseudotumor Cerebri in 2005 who is now blind so she became a massage therapist. What a GREAT person she is. I understand what she is going through because in 2006 I was being treated for the same thing. I had too much fluid built up on my spinal cord so I went for 3 spinal taps but unsuccessfully. It wasn't until the County of Sacramento sent me to UC Davis for a 4th and final spinal tap when they found out I didn't have a Pseudotumor. I had an actual Tumor on my Optic Nerve. So after careful considerations it was determined that the risk was to high for the reward to take the tumor out. If they take out I will go blind completely or I can keep the tumor and let my sight go over time which is what it is doing. I can still drive in daylight and that is better than not driving at all. So the story Melissa shared of Rebecca who officially lost her sight in 2009 gives me inspiration and if she ever needs anything I will gladly be there for her as her story will live in my heart and will serve as motivation. I am so glad she shared and so glad it was Melissa she shared it with.
Today on Good Day they also celebrated Superhero Day and if you noticed in the 5am hour they wore capes for a segment or two. Those capes came from Super Fly Kids who offers customized kids and adult size superhero capes. http://www.superflykids.com/
Good Day also celebrated the Birth of Mark S. Allen's daughter Madison, Today Madison turned 18 years old and has grown up so much over the years. It was so special seeing Mark and Madison share a special father/daughter moment together first when she boarded the plane and then again when she jumped from the plane and his expression when she landed on the ground safely from her Sky Dive was priceless. I don't know what Madison will do in the future but I know she will go on to do GREAT things because despite all the fun we see Mark have he is very intelligent and that rubs off on Madison and her future is as high if not higher than she jumped (14,000 feet).
Tomorrow My58 will return to Today in the News and Fox40 will continue to be in but tomorrow Tina returns to Good Day and it will be a fun day so look for all of that and more tomorrow in Today in the News..

Today on Fox40 It's Monday so Sabrina talked about Don't be that guy with dog owners who don't clean after their dog. It's also Motivational Monday so KAIA Fit gave workout tips for getting back into and looking good in your Bikini. Meritage Hotel was in the Fox40 kitchen talking about their event May 10.

Leading off Show and Tell today Courtney received a plate made from a local Carmichael woman with her face on it. Ken met an old school friend of Julissa. Julissa shared pictures and video from the Sac Republic game including Mark yelling goal too early. Marianne's Daily list today gave facts of George Clooney's soon to be bride. Today's 5am Club Member was introduced. Today's Question of the Day was What would your Super Hero name be and today's Show us yours was Superhero. Mark's daughter Madison prepares to jump from a plane for her 18th birthday.
6am:
In this hour Madison starts preparing for her jump and silently I am extremely nervous for her. I would went a direct line to Laura Skirde or Cody for constant weather updates. Why I have no idea. Melissa is taking a challenge this week on living on $25 worth of food. So she went shopping at Winco in Roseville. Julissa showed the App of the Week that brings beautiful art right to your TV, phone, Ipad etc. and available for both Iphone and Android. Marianne had her Daily Joe that showed dolphins swimming with a swimmer to protect him from sharks.
7am:
In this hour Melissa shows all she picked up for under $25 at Winco. Cedric The Entertainer stopped by to talk about his show on TVLand. Ken and Marianne talked to Home Depot about new battery powered lawn tools. Mark's daughter Madison boarded plane, jumped from plane and landed safely from plane. Mark's face says it all with the relief on his face that she was Safe Home. GREAT Moment that I will talk more about in Final Thoughts.
8am:
In this hour Mark and Madison recap her jump. Melissa prepares meals she bought on budget. Dr. Phil stopped by to talk about his shows this week. Marianne talked to a coin expert about a coin show coming up May 2-3rd in Sacramento. Courtney gave the back story of 2 ladies who are survivors and will be getting a makeover. Today's #9amtopic is about the Racist that owns the Clippers what the NBA should do about it and him.
9am:
In this hour the HOT Button #9amtopic was guided through with Julissa and Laura, In addition the 2 ladies talked with Denny's in Lodi about their Grand Slam Celebration Reopening tomorrow after they closed for remodelling. Courtney shared the back story of Veronica and Chris in the 8am hour and in the 9am hour their makeovers were revealed and the ladies looked amazing. Mark and Madison talked to the crew that assisted Madison in her Sky Dive and she revealed she wanted to go again. Melissa talked to a message therapist, Rebecca Henderson who suffers from blindness and how she has overcome her disability to give back (Much more on this in Final Thoughts).
Final Thoughts:
Today Fox40 talked to TMZ Harvey Levin regarding the tape they released from the LA Clippers owner. Harvey said they held onto this recording for 8 days before releasing it so that they could check all facts and prove that it was in fact the owners voice, words and not at all doctored. They also talked to Magic Johnson prior to releasing and though he was shocked he was reserved up until the point of hearing the tape and awful things said.
Much like the Fox40 Viewers Voice Good Day also had the topic for their #9amtopic and both had some very interesting comments that had me shaking my head. I will never understand why our world has so much hate and why some found the owners comments okay. One of my friends is black as well as Courtney, Ken, Julian who I consider family my BEST friend is Asian as well as Tina I would be devastated if someone told me I was no longer allowed to be friends with them because of the color of their skin. But after yesterday and today I am tired of talking about it and today is a Happy day because we still have GOOD/GREAT people in our world who care and give to others.
Today on Good Day Courtney was there as 2 beautiful ladies got makeovers after going through cancer treatments.
Melissa introduced us to a local woman who was a computer programmer who suffered from a Pseudotumor Cerebri in 2005 who is now blind so she became a massage therapist. What a GREAT person she is. I understand what she is going through because in 2006 I was being treated for the same thing. I had too much fluid built up on my spinal cord so I went for 3 spinal taps but unsuccessfully. It wasn't until the County of Sacramento sent me to UC Davis for a 4th and final spinal tap when they found out I didn't have a Pseudotumor. I had an actual Tumor on my Optic Nerve. So after careful considerations it was determined that the risk was to high for the reward to take the tumor out. If they take out I will go blind completely or I can keep the tumor and let my sight go over time which is what it is doing. I can still drive in daylight and that is better than not driving at all. So the story Melissa shared of Rebecca who officially lost her sight in 2009 gives me inspiration and if she ever needs anything I will gladly be there for her as her story will live in my heart and will serve as motivation. I am so glad she shared and so glad it was Melissa she shared it with.
Today on Good Day they also celebrated Superhero Day and if you noticed in the 5am hour they wore capes for a segment or two. Those capes came from Super Fly Kids who offers customized kids and adult size superhero capes. http://www.superflykids.com/
Good Day also celebrated the Birth of Mark S. Allen's daughter Madison, Today Madison turned 18 years old and has grown up so much over the years. It was so special seeing Mark and Madison share a special father/daughter moment together first when she boarded the plane and then again when she jumped from the plane and his expression when she landed on the ground safely from her Sky Dive was priceless. I don't know what Madison will do in the future but I know she will go on to do GREAT things because despite all the fun we see Mark have he is very intelligent and that rubs off on Madison and her future is as high if not higher than she jumped (14,000 feet).
Tomorrow My58 will return to Today in the News and Fox40 will continue to be in but tomorrow Tina returns to Good Day and it will be a fun day so look for all of that and more tomorrow in Today in the News..
