Opening Statement:
Today I have a few things I want to talk about. No I won't be making a list today like yesterday but I do want to revisit one thing from the 80's show. The 80's was a "Fun" decade and the further we get away from that it's easy to forget and we need reminders like yesterday it's okay to have fun and laugh with others as well as our selves, so just remember that.
The other thing I want to talk about is the NCAA Basketball Tournament and the UConn Huskies defeated Kentucky to end the Men's Basketball season but tonight the UConn girls have a to win a title as well so lets see if they can get it done.

Tips on Home insurance and they talked about homes replacing the old land that currently houses Sutter Memorial Hospital that will soon be torn down.

Today on Fox Elk Grove native and current Chicago Bear was in town to promote his Football camp coming soon to American River College. Cal Fit has applied for a liquor license to serve wine, and beer after you workout. (More on this in Final Thought) and teens that can't get dates because of attitude.

Mark was in Manteca at 8 Buck Pizza Truck attempting to eat a 30 inch pizza that also weighs over 15 lbs. In this hour it was time to prep the pizza. Amy was in Sacramento with Dress Fiend Phoebe giving one personal trainer a makeover. It was revealed Analisa the girl doing the hair is also Julissa's neighbor. Camera Guy Dave was in Auburn previewing a Baby event coming up this weekend. Marianne had her Daily Joe which included Babies tasting Lemons.
7am:
What seems to be an easy task it is appearing that in this hour the Big Kahuna Pizza Challenge that Mark is taking part in at 8 Buck Pizza Truck is not as easy as it looks. Topped with Peppers this pizza is clearly taking its toll on Mark. We will see how it goes in the 8am hour. Also in this hour Brian Cooley from CNet talked about a new online grocery store called Amazon Fresh may be the end of Grocery stores but I am not counting on that anytime soon. This service is only available in select locations including San Francisco and LA. Amy continued with the Makeover of Nikki the trainer and Julissa learned how to play Spikeball at her old High School at St. Francis.
8am:
Mark was not able to eat the entire pizza but 8 Buck Pizza Truck did donate $500 to Shriners Change for Change so nice work by them. Also in this hour Amy revealed the Personal Trainer makeover and she looked amazing. Ken previewed the Hamster Derby from Petco this weekend. Court's Tunes Old School theme was played. The #9amtopic was introduced. Today's Topic was I know it's bad for me but I still do it?
9am:
Laura and Julissa guided us through the hour and today's #9amtopic. Courtney previewed the Sacramento's Got Talent show that will be taking place at the Crest Theater. Sean was at Sac State for Grad Fest taking place today. Jarad from Dickey's BBQ gave Grilling tips and it was a GREAT reminder that TODAY ONLY $1 for sales will go to Shriners for Change for Change. Ken talked about laws we break everyday including singing Happy Birthday in his Manly Minute.
Final Thoughts:
Today on My58 they talked about Slices of cake returning to Starbucks as well as Icing on the Cupcake returning to Rocklin. Though I have only bought the Starbucks Coffee Cake once I can tell you that their food menu items sell very well and bringing cake slices will not be a bad thing just be sure your sugar is in check because I learned the coffee cake is very high in sugar and if you're diabetic you will pay dearly. Also as I said last week Icing on the Cupcake has returned to Rocklin and it is always nice to see a place who gives excellent service to return when things looks bleak for them just 2-3 months ago when they closed their doors.
Fox40 bored me a lot today. Much of the stories covered were the same as last night on the newscasts they had however Relationship expert was in studio giving tips for teens looking for dates as well as Elk Grove High School and current Chicago Bear Lance Briggs bringing his Football camp back to Sacramento once again this year. Also on Fox Cal Fit in Midtown Sacramento is apply for a liquor licence. Is this really a good idea? Both adds calories to you so you go to the gym to lose weight then you get drunk after so all your work is shot. I get what they are trying to do by making it a social setting but I don't go to the gym to hang out I go to workout and when I done I want to just go home not stick around drinking beer, wine etc. But I am sure I will be completely wrong and not issues will occur at the gym.
Good Day today had a task of making over a personal trainer, playing spikeball, informing all of us we are breaking the law each day and Mark trying to eat a pizza. So how did it all go down?
Amy teamed up with Deeda Salon, Phoebe the Dress Fiend and a local Makeup artist to makeover a Personal trainer because friends and family grew tired of her in workout clothes each day. This team that was assembled did a phenomenal job and Nikki looked amazing.
Courtney had a couple of guests in studio to promote the Sacramento's Got Talent Show coming up but it was Anime who I was most impressed with with her hula hoop skills.
Julissa went back to her old High School to learn how to play Spikeball and to be honest I have no idea what it is nor do I know how to describe it plus at the time of this writing no video from the shot has been posted.
Not graduating from a major college I have never been able to experience life after college as an Alum but for those who are Alums and those who will be graduating this year at Sac State Sean previewed a Grad Fest taking place at Sac State so you can buy all those GREAT gifts ideas for post graduates.
Today on Ken's Manly Minute he talked about 5 laws that ALL of Break each day. I heard the story behind Happy Birthday but we all still sing it and the law about the Sharpie was shocking. It is illegal to take a Sharpie outside. Who knew?
Mark S. Allen is a friend and I consider him a mentor. One of the things I could never do that Mark does very well is eat, and not just eat like normal but competitively. Mark was once in the Guinness Book of World Records for his eating Jalapeno Peppers. Today Mark traveled to Manteca to take on a pizza eating challenge for charity and to help one other person who attempted to take this challenge before and failed. The challenge was to eat a 30 inch 15 lbs pizza in 1 hour with just 1 other person from 8 Buck Food Truck who will give whoever does it $2500. Mark fell very short of completing much like everyone has so far however 8 Buck Food Truck did donate $500 to Change for Change going to Shriners Hospital for Children. Nice job by them for stepping up.

Today's show did a pretty good job but I was bored with the content from Fox40 because of so many stories from last night. Mark was in Manteca at 8 Buck Pizza Truck attempting to eat a 30 inch pizza that also weighs over 15 lbs. In this hour it was time to prep the pizza. Amy was in Sacramento with Dress Fiend Phoebe giving one personal trainer a makeover. It was revealed Analisa the girl doing the hair is also Julissa's neighbor. Camera Guy Dave was in Auburn previewing a Baby event coming up this weekend. Marianne had her Daily Joe which included Babies tasting Lemons.
7am:
What seems to be an easy task it is appearing that in this hour the Big Kahuna Pizza Challenge that Mark is taking part in at 8 Buck Pizza Truck is not as easy as it looks. Topped with Peppers this pizza is clearly taking its toll on Mark. We will see how it goes in the 8am hour. Also in this hour Brian Cooley from CNet talked about a new online grocery store called Amazon Fresh may be the end of Grocery stores but I am not counting on that anytime soon. This service is only available in select locations including San Francisco and LA. Amy continued with the Makeover of Nikki the trainer and Julissa learned how to play Spikeball at her old High School at St. Francis.

Mark was not able to eat the entire pizza but 8 Buck Pizza Truck did donate $500 to Shriners Change for Change so nice work by them. Also in this hour Amy revealed the Personal Trainer makeover and she looked amazing. Ken previewed the Hamster Derby from Petco this weekend. Court's Tunes Old School theme was played. Laura and Julissa guided us through the hour and today's #9amtopic. Courtney previewed the Sacramento's Got Talent show that will be taking place at the Crest Theater. Sean was at Sac State for Grad Fest taking place today. Jarad from Dickey's BBQ gave Grilling tips and it was a GREAT reminder that TODAY ONLY $1 for sales will go to Shriners for Change for Change. Ken talked about laws we break everyday including singing Happy Birthday in his Manly Minute.
Final Thoughts:
Today on My58 they talked about Slices of cake returning to Starbucks as well as Icing on the Cupcake returning to Rocklin. Though I have only bought the Starbucks Coffee Cake once I can tell you that their food menu items sell very well and bringing cake slices will not be a bad thing just be sure your sugar is in check because I learned the coffee cake is very high in sugar and if you're diabetic you will pay dearly. Also as I said last week Icing on the Cupcake has returned to Rocklin and it is always nice to see a place who gives excellent service to return when things looks bleak for them just 2-3 months ago when they closed their doors.
Fox40 bored me a lot today. Much of the stories covered were the same as last night on the newscasts they had however Relationship expert was in studio giving tips for teens looking for dates as well as Elk Grove High School and current Chicago Bear Lance Briggs bringing his Football camp back to Sacramento once again this year. Also on Fox Cal Fit in Midtown Sacramento is apply for a liquor licence. Is this really a good idea? Both adds calories to you so you go to the gym to lose weight then you get drunk after so all your work is shot. I get what they are trying to do by making it a social setting but I don't go to the gym to hang out I go to workout and when I done I want to just go home not stick around drinking beer, wine etc. But I am sure I will be completely wrong and not issues will occur at the gym.
Good Day today had a task of making over a personal trainer, playing spikeball, informing all of us we are breaking the law each day and Mark trying to eat a pizza. So how did it all go down?
Amy teamed up with Deeda Salon, Phoebe the Dress Fiend and a local Makeup artist to makeover a Personal trainer because friends and family grew tired of her in workout clothes each day. This team that was assembled did a phenomenal job and Nikki looked amazing.
Courtney had a couple of guests in studio to promote the Sacramento's Got Talent Show coming up but it was Anime who I was most impressed with with her hula hoop skills.
Julissa went back to her old High School to learn how to play Spikeball and to be honest I have no idea what it is nor do I know how to describe it plus at the time of this writing no video from the shot has been posted.
Not graduating from a major college I have never been able to experience life after college as an Alum but for those who are Alums and those who will be graduating this year at Sac State Sean previewed a Grad Fest taking place at Sac State so you can buy all those GREAT gifts ideas for post graduates.
Today on Ken's Manly Minute he talked about 5 laws that ALL of Break each day. I heard the story behind Happy Birthday but we all still sing it and the law about the Sharpie was shocking. It is illegal to take a Sharpie outside. Who knew?
Mark S. Allen is a friend and I consider him a mentor. One of the things I could never do that Mark does very well is eat, and not just eat like normal but competitively. Mark was once in the Guinness Book of World Records for his eating Jalapeno Peppers. Today Mark traveled to Manteca to take on a pizza eating challenge for charity and to help one other person who attempted to take this challenge before and failed. The challenge was to eat a 30 inch 15 lbs pizza in 1 hour with just 1 other person from 8 Buck Food Truck who will give whoever does it $2500. Mark fell very short of completing much like everyone has so far however 8 Buck Food Truck did donate $500 to Change for Change going to Shriners Hospital for Children. Nice job by them for stepping up.

Today's show did a pretty good job but I was bored with the content from Fox40 because of so many stories from last night.
