Opening Statement:
Today is only Wednesday and it has already been draining with so much news this week from the NBA, to the storms in the south. So today I decided Wednesday will be FunDay and I will only be covering Good Day today.
Yesterday I had a different Opening Statement until learning that it was Tina Macuha's 5th Anniversary of being Breast Cancer FREE so I cancelled the original Opening Statement about Late Late Show Craig Ferguson leaving in December. If the show continues my short list for his replacement should be Tina, Fey, Chelsea Handler or my go to answer for everything because he should have his own show, Cody Stark live from Sacramento.

Cody is back and lead off Show and Tell with crows in Japan using hangers for nests. Ken showed California Chrome from Kentucky Derby minus his saddle towel. Marianne had a list of actors who have twins and one local celebrity our own Sean Bennett has a twin. (They do look alike and Sean is older by 11 minutes). Marianne also had the Daily List which talked about things you should have in your home by age 30. Mark's News of the Weird talked about California Chrome Saddle towel being taken off because it was spelled wrong. Today's Question of the day was Last thing you had fixed. Today's 5am Club Members were introduced and today's Show us yours was Siblings.

At the end of the 5am hour we hit you with Sean having a twin in Show and Tell. At the top of the 6 that twin was revealed and they do look alike. Also in this hour Marianne had her Daily Joe talking about deadliest animals. Julissa was with the McNulty kids who turn 8 in May and are doing great. Yes ALL 4 of them. Amy was at Hoss Lee Academy for Hair Wars - 40's - today for Hair Appreciation Day.

Moving through the show on a nice pace brings us to the 7am hour and Cody going to heaven aka Science students show off their amazing creations before they head to the Nationals. Amy continued with Hair Wars. Mark talked Flying. First with Airman from Travis Air Force Base to preview this weekends Thunder over Solano Air Show at Travis Air Force Base. Then he talked about Spider-Man 2 sending contest winner from Mark at the Movies to talk to Emma Stone from the movie. Julissa wrapped up her visit with our favorite Quad Kids that are getting ready to celebrate their 8th Birthday.
8am:
Ken talked to 3 film directors who filmed documentary about Grant High School Football. Cody continued to be amazed with Science at Mira Loma High School Hoss Lee Academy finished the first part of Hair Wars and Amy got a first hand look at it. Cambi was at Mellow Me Out Spa as they team up with Women's Empowerment for some special makeovers. Courtney was checking out a local artist who is disabled and makes custom made glass of your pets. Mark shared who will be in Star Wars Episode 7. Mark also had a rare 8am edition of News of the Weird. Teens Tunes was played and today's #9amtopic was I'd rather ____ alone.
9am:
In this hour Hair Wars continued with Marge Simpson taking the honors. Cambi revealed Mellow Me Out makeover. Mark talked Emma Stone. Julissa, Laura, and Mark took us through the #9amtopic Courtney continued to show off Linda's Amazing work. Ken's Manly Minute talked about "Brands" that define you. Today is Wednesday so Tina was Dishin With Tina.
Final Thoughts:
I am so happy that my mission of the day of no negative news was accomplished and I could just concentrate on all things fun today on Good Day.
I am nowhere near the Science guy Cody is but he always gets the coolest science stories that can geek out anyone much like he did today at Mira Loma High School. These amazing kids are awesome.
Sticking with the Science theme Mark revealed the big names that will appear in Star Wars Episode 7 to be released December of 2015 and include favorites such as Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford. (Side Note May 4th is Sunday, look for a special Good Day Weekend Edition)
Not only did they talk Star Wars today on Good Day but Amy talked Hair Wars for Hair Appreciation Day at Hoss Lee Academy where they went retro from 1940's to today. Winning Salons made a donation in their name to Make a Wish.
Today was show us your siblings day and for many viewers no one knew Sean Bennett had a twin brother. Colin sent his photo in and I was amazed how he and Sean look alike and Sean said he is 11 minutes older. Julissa also caught up with the McNulty kids who will be turning 8 in May. These four bundles of joy have grown so much and they are all doing great.
I love stories that feature people giving back and today Cambi was at Mellow Me Out Spa with help from Women's Empowerment as they gave back to 2 local woman getting makeovers so they can find jobs and get back into the work force.
Also Courtney talked to a local viewer, Linda, who creates Stained Glass art of your pets to help her get through her disabilities. and her work is beautiful.
Ken was with 3 local directors who filmed a documentary on the Grant Pacers High School Football Team. The one Pacer I remember most is Donte Stallworth who has played on several NFL teams but when I saw him play he single handedly took care of my old High School El Camino Eagles.
Today is Wednesday so that means Tina was Dishin with Chewy's today as they showed some of their amazing Mexican Food. I heard from one viewer Alia Lloyd Brown who said they had dinner here and it was one of the Best places they have been to. Tina and I love hearing when viewers try the places featured in Dishin With Tina.

In this hour Hair Wars continued with Marge Simpson taking the honors. Cambi revealed Mellow Me Out makeover. Mark talked Emma Stone. Julissa, Laura, and Mark took us through the #9amtopic Courtney continued to show off Linda's Amazing work. Ken's Manly Minute talked about "Brands" that define you. Today is Wednesday so Tina was Dishin With Tina.

I am so happy that my mission of the day of no negative news was accomplished and I could just concentrate on all things fun today on Good Day.
I am nowhere near the Science guy Cody is but he always gets the coolest science stories that can geek out anyone much like he did today at Mira Loma High School. These amazing kids are awesome.
Sticking with the Science theme Mark revealed the big names that will appear in Star Wars Episode 7 to be released December of 2015 and include favorites such as Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford. (Side Note May 4th is Sunday, look for a special Good Day Weekend Edition)
Not only did they talk Star Wars today on Good Day but Amy talked Hair Wars for Hair Appreciation Day at Hoss Lee Academy where they went retro from 1940's to today. Winning Salons made a donation in their name to Make a Wish.
Today was show us your siblings day and for many viewers no one knew Sean Bennett had a twin brother. Colin sent his photo in and I was amazed how he and Sean look alike and Sean said he is 11 minutes older. Julissa also caught up with the McNulty kids who will be turning 8 in May. These four bundles of joy have grown so much and they are all doing great.
I love stories that feature people giving back and today Cambi was at Mellow Me Out Spa with help from Women's Empowerment as they gave back to 2 local woman getting makeovers so they can find jobs and get back into the work force.
Also Courtney talked to a local viewer, Linda, who creates Stained Glass art of your pets to help her get through her disabilities. and her work is beautiful.
Ken was with 3 local directors who filmed a documentary on the Grant Pacers High School Football Team. The one Pacer I remember most is Donte Stallworth who has played on several NFL teams but when I saw him play he single handedly took care of my old High School El Camino Eagles.
Today is Wednesday so that means Tina was Dishin with Chewy's today as they showed some of their amazing Mexican Food. I heard from one viewer Alia Lloyd Brown who said they had dinner here and it was one of the Best places they have been to. Tina and I love hearing when viewers try the places featured in Dishin With Tina.
So because today is Wednesday that means tomorrow Idol Chatter returns to Today in the News as well as the Good Day Swim Party, Gina from Thrift Town and Kens' Sensational Senior to name a few. So what is coming up the rest of the week?....
