This year’s event features men and women who have lost weight in the months following their gastric bypass, vertical sleeve gastrectomy or laparoscopic band operations. Models will share brief personal stories and photos from their battles with extreme weight and then walk the runway in the latest fashions from local clothing stores.
Proceeds benefit the UC Davis Bariatric Surgery Program.

Final Thoughts:
Monster Truck, Cooking in the kitchen and the fish are flying Today in the News. It is the Friday before Championship Sunday in the NFL and every station covered the Seattle / 49er game in their own way. Fox did not have a reporter up in Seattle this morning but still talked about it. My58 justed used file video of Del Rodgers reporting from Thursday night while on Good Day Sacramento Julissa was checking out a Kooky Collector with so much 49er stuff I couldn't believe my eyes. In addition to Julissa, Marianne reported live all morning long. Most of the time 2 times an hour. She concentrated on the famous Pike Place Market today. So what else took place Today in the News....

Today they previewed Stockton Restaurant Week with the Wine Company. Also you saw them last week in Stockton now this weekend at Sleep Train Arena it's Monster Trucks for MonsterX
Fox40:
Fox40 was talking food today. French 25 was featured for Stockton Restaurant Week. Sizzler was in the Fox40 kitchen cooking up healthy food. Most likely all this food had to get them out and about so Zohreen reported from the Capital about the drought emergency while Fox also covered Monster X at Sleep Train this weekend.
Good Day Sacramento:
Breaking news canceled the Show and Tell as well as Question of the Day. Marianne did start reporting live from Seattle at 430 but mainly in the 5am hour. We did meet the 5am Club Member. Also at 5 Cody revealed he will dress like Jim Harbaugh on Sunday's Show.
The 6am hour started to get back to normal with the high speed chase over. Mark skyped in from NYC, Marianne continued from Seattle including the Original Starbucks, Melissa was doing a Makeup Makeover challenge with LuLu Luxe. Julissa was checking out one Kooky Collector with 49er items so impressive I was impressed.
In the 7am hour Marianne continued from Seattle, Melissa did a 3 minute haircut challenge.
In the 8am hour It was revealed Queen Latifah would be showing a famous Good Day Sacramento blooper involving a bird. Mark continued from NYC where he showed the clip of him going behind the scenes of Divergent. Marianne found a Seattle 49er fan and Jason Maloney has a date and was looking for places to go on it. The #9amtopic was introduced as well as the cast and crew taste testing Laura's Queso Courtney was running the Jukebox today for Court's Tunes and the theme was Michael Jackson History.... That was a GREAT Theme
The 9am hour had a bit of a twist to it. Rather than Laura and Julissa at the desk they did the show in the kitchen making their famous recipes. Marianne had one final report from Seattle but will be back tomorrow for the weekend. Cody was swimming up stream at a new exhibit at the Discovery Musuem. Mark was talking Divergent from behind the scenes also he got caught tweeting the winner for best picture from last nights Critics Choice Awards. Mel was attempting to eat a 3 lbs 3 foot long burrito in Woodland, Courtney was changing a bike tire in under 5 minutes and Ken talked about how not to break up. Today is also Dance Party Friday and today it featured Michael Jackson's Day or Night.
Quick Thought:
We danced into the weekend and now we prepare for Amy and Cody to take the controls. It was a fun week this week to cover the 3 stations. After a rough day for My58 they recovered nicely with content I like to use. Fox had a pretty good week as well but it was far and away a week of greatness for Good Day Sacramento.
I'm excited at the chances of Good Day Sacramento reaching 100,000 on Facebook. I hope they reach the goal by 1/31/2013.

Final Thoughts:
Monster Truck, Cooking in the kitchen and the fish are flying Today in the News. It is the Friday before Championship Sunday in the NFL and every station covered the Seattle / 49er game in their own way. Fox did not have a reporter up in Seattle this morning but still talked about it. My58 justed used file video of Del Rodgers reporting from Thursday night while on Good Day Sacramento Julissa was checking out a Kooky Collector with so much 49er stuff I couldn't believe my eyes. In addition to Julissa, Marianne reported live all morning long. Most of the time 2 times an hour. She concentrated on the famous Pike Place Market today. So what else took place Today in the News....
My58:
Today they previewed Stockton Restaurant Week with the Wine Company. Also you saw them last week in Stockton now this weekend at Sleep Train Arena it's Monster Trucks for MonsterX
Fox40:
Fox40 was talking food today. French 25 was featured for Stockton Restaurant Week. Sizzler was in the Fox40 kitchen cooking up healthy food. Most likely all this food had to get them out and about so Zohreen reported from the Capital about the drought emergency while Fox also covered Monster X at Sleep Train this weekend.
Good Day Sacramento:
Breaking news canceled the Show and Tell as well as Question of the Day. Marianne did start reporting live from Seattle at 430 but mainly in the 5am hour. We did meet the 5am Club Member. Also at 5 Cody revealed he will dress like Jim Harbaugh on Sunday's Show.
The 6am hour started to get back to normal with the high speed chase over. Mark skyped in from NYC, Marianne continued from Seattle including the Original Starbucks, Melissa was doing a Makeup Makeover challenge with LuLu Luxe. Julissa was checking out one Kooky Collector with 49er items so impressive I was impressed.
In the 7am hour Marianne continued from Seattle, Melissa did a 3 minute haircut challenge.
In the 8am hour It was revealed Queen Latifah would be showing a famous Good Day Sacramento blooper involving a bird. Mark continued from NYC where he showed the clip of him going behind the scenes of Divergent. Marianne found a Seattle 49er fan and Jason Maloney has a date and was looking for places to go on it. The #9amtopic was introduced as well as the cast and crew taste testing Laura's Queso Courtney was running the Jukebox today for Court's Tunes and the theme was Michael Jackson History.... That was a GREAT Theme
The 9am hour had a bit of a twist to it. Rather than Laura and Julissa at the desk they did the show in the kitchen making their famous recipes. Marianne had one final report from Seattle but will be back tomorrow for the weekend. Cody was swimming up stream at a new exhibit at the Discovery Musuem. Mark was talking Divergent from behind the scenes also he got caught tweeting the winner for best picture from last nights Critics Choice Awards. Mel was attempting to eat a 3 lbs 3 foot long burrito in Woodland, Courtney was changing a bike tire in under 5 minutes and Ken talked about how not to break up. Today is also Dance Party Friday and today it featured Michael Jackson's Day or Night.
Quick Thought:
We danced into the weekend and now we prepare for Amy and Cody to take the controls. It was a fun week this week to cover the 3 stations. After a rough day for My58 they recovered nicely with content I like to use. Fox had a pretty good week as well but it was far and away a week of greatness for Good Day Sacramento.
I'm excited at the chances of Good Day Sacramento reaching 100,000 on Facebook. I hope they reach the goal by 1/31/2013.
