On Thursday's Good Day Sacramento in the Show and Tell Segment Courtney talked about her flyer she received regarding the special showing of Bully at the Natomas Regal Theater on January 18, 2014, Friday night by start of a Facebook Post by a viewer I decided to keep the message going until the movie airs on the 18th. So in the Special Announcement section you can see all the fun things planned during the movie.
I believe in the message the movie talks about. I know that when I was a kid I was bullied. My first day of Kindergarten I was punched in the stomach. That same kid picked on me everyday for my first 5 years of school even after a teacher locked us both in a closet. When I moved to California I was picked on at school, I was picked on when my weight was heavy and now with the Internet Cyber Bullying is out of control and yes I have had my share of that too so if you are in the area I strongly hope you can make this showing and learn from it.

Teriyaki Frosted Wings
3 lb. bag of frozen drumettes/wings, defrosted
For Sauce:
1/2 pouch of The Frosting Queens Crowned Caramel Buttercream Frosting
1 1/4 cups soy sauce
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1 Tbsp fresh garlic, minced
Optional: 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
Whisk together all sauce ingredients in a big bowl and add chicken. Stir to coat. Pour into a 13×9 inch pan and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Using tongs, turn chicken over. Bake an additional 45 minutes. Remove from pan with tongs to a serving platter. Serve warm.

With the Easy Rider Bike show in town this weekend today's Show us yours... was your ride. Viewers sent in some great photos of bikes and classic cars. The #JustCurious topic was Name of your first car. In a surprise move, Melissa was at the desk with Cody due to Amy being out sick.
In the 7am hour Lori kicked off the first segment at the Easy Rider Bike show where it was revealed that Sons of Anarchy star Mark Boone will be appearing at the show. Cambi was at Velvet Grill & Creamery in Galt seeing what was on the menu and Tina was going behind the scenes of the short film Freakquency. The Skype guest was David Babcock who ran a marathon while knitting.
In the 8am hour Lori, Cambi, and Tina continued from their 7am live shots. Cambi met the customers and Tina did her World Famous Booty Pop on the Catwalk. Bonnie from Triad Fabric showed how to make headboards. Gabe from Travelzoo gave some GREAT EXCLUSIVE deals to Good Day Sacramento viewers. In the 9am hour Cody played Charger/Bronco trivia with 1 family divided between the 2 teams. Neither member did well in the trivia. To be fair it was very hard trivia and I didn't even know most of them. (2 correct) Phoebe the Dress Fiend was in studio with another GREAT fashion show with her GREAT finds at consignment shops. Phobe was recently featured in Sacramento Business Journals... At 10am Cambi was giving us more heart pumping action from Stockton Arena. You don't need your seat but your going to pay for it when you fall backwards from all the exciting action. The Frosting Queens came back for a special Frosting Queen Caramel Apple desert. Marlene was back to tell us how to take care of fruit trees. Lori was getting her model casting call on at Sac Fashion Show Casting call. Melissa had Hot Headlines. Tina was checking out the Second Sale full of ART and pottery Cody talked with the organizers of ProjectRecovery for Haiyan and that included a magic trick act that swallowed pins.... WOW

Good Day Sacramento has been around for almost 19 years and in those years they started the weekend show. In this time we've seen a lot of changes. People come and go but the BEST thing to ever happen to this show was Cody Stark taking over as host when Chris Burrous left the show. Today that fact was proven once again that Good Day Sacramento Weekend is by far the BEST SHOW ON MORNING TV. Yes the Weekday show is also but the Weekend is much more fast paced fun with serious topics mixed in like those of the ProjectRecovery for Haiyan and Senior at Rio educating those on healthcare. But it is also fun when we have the Frosting Queens giving us ways to use frosting, My FAVORITE Fashion Blogger The Dress Fiend and yes I really do read it as well as Marlene Simon's about her plants though I can't grow grass without killing it. I love Tina being a part of the weekend show and her World Famous Booty Pop. Lori is an amazing reporter and Iove having her all weekend long now. Melissa is crazy and I can't get enough of her. I LOVE having Cambi back on the weekend. She is so fun. and yes we missed Amy and wish her well to come back soon. It was a fun show today.

Teriyaki Frosted Wings
3 lb. bag of frozen drumettes/wings, defrosted
For Sauce:
1/2 pouch of The Frosting Queens Crowned Caramel Buttercream Frosting
1 1/4 cups soy sauce
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1 Tbsp fresh garlic, minced
Optional: 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
Whisk together all sauce ingredients in a big bowl and add chicken. Stir to coat. Pour into a 13×9 inch pan and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Using tongs, turn chicken over. Bake an additional 45 minutes. Remove from pan with tongs to a serving platter. Serve warm.

In partnership with the Red Cross and the Restaurant Thir13en/Sterling Hotel, the community has come together to help support the victims of Typhoon Haiyan -one of the most powerful storms in history to touch down and ravage the Philippines. This devastation is further compounded by a magnitude 7.1 earthquake that killed 222 people just 3 weeks prior.
Hosted by our very own Tina Macuha, #ProjectRecovery brings together an evening of food, wine and beer, live performances and entertainment (talented illusionist and magician, Danedini; Filipina actress and singer, Jennie Kwan; DJ Wreck of 3 Style Attractions; Sacramento’s own Hawaiian/Jawaiian group, Kua’aino; the acoustic sounds of Sacramento’s Rodge Mamauag and Sene) all to raise funds for the continued relief efforts by the American Red Cross for Typhoon Haiyan.A man will swallow needles... With the Easy Rider Bike show in town this weekend today's Show us yours... was your ride. Viewers sent in some great photos of bikes and classic cars. The #JustCurious topic was Name of your first car. In a surprise move, Melissa was at the desk with Cody due to Amy being out sick.
In the 7am hour Lori kicked off the first segment at the Easy Rider Bike show where it was revealed that Sons of Anarchy star Mark Boone will be appearing at the show. Cambi was at Velvet Grill & Creamery in Galt seeing what was on the menu and Tina was going behind the scenes of the short film Freakquency. The Skype guest was David Babcock who ran a marathon while knitting.
In the 8am hour Lori, Cambi, and Tina continued from their 7am live shots. Cambi met the customers and Tina did her World Famous Booty Pop on the Catwalk. Bonnie from Triad Fabric showed how to make headboards. Gabe from Travelzoo gave some GREAT EXCLUSIVE deals to Good Day Sacramento viewers. In the 9am hour Cody played Charger/Bronco trivia with 1 family divided between the 2 teams. Neither member did well in the trivia. To be fair it was very hard trivia and I didn't even know most of them. (2 correct) Phoebe the Dress Fiend was in studio with another GREAT fashion show with her GREAT finds at consignment shops. Phobe was recently featured in Sacramento Business Journals... Marlene answered another viewers plant questions.
At 10am Cambi was giving us more heart pumping action from Stockton Arena. You don't need your seat but your going to pay for it when you fall backwards from all the exciting action. The Frosting Queens came back for a special Frosting Queen Caramel Apple desert. Marlene was back to tell us how to take care of fruit trees. Lori was getting her model casting call on at Sac Fashion Show Casting call. Melissa had Hot Headlines. Tina was checking out the Second Sale full of ART and pottery Cody talked with the organizers of ProjectRecovery for Haiyan and that included a magic trick act that swallowed pins.... WOW
Quick Thought:
Good Day Sacramento has been around for almost 19 years and in those years they started the weekend show. In this time we've seen a lot of changes. People come and go but the BEST thing to ever happen to this show was Cody Stark taking over as host when Chris Burrous left the show. Today that fact was proven once again that Good Day Sacramento Weekend is by far the BEST SHOW ON MORNING TV. Yes the Weekday show is also but the Weekend is much more fast paced fun with serious topics mixed in like those of the ProjectRecovery for Haiyan and Senior at Rio educating those on healthcare. But it is also fun when we have the Frosting Queens giving us ways to use frosting, My FAVORITE Fashion Blogger The Dress Fiend and yes I really do read it as well as Marlene Simon's about her plants though I can't grow grass without killing it. I love Tina being a part of the weekend show and her World Famous Booty Pop. Lori is an amazing reporter and Iove having her all weekend long now. Melissa is crazy and I can't get enough of her. I LOVE having Cambi back on the weekend. She is so fun. and yes we missed Amy and wish her well to come back soon. It was a fun show today.
