Each year, the UC Davis Bariatric Surgery Program spotlights Bariatric patients as they model fashions for business, leisure and formal occasions.
This year’s event features men and women who have lost weight in the months following their gastric bypass, vertical sleeve gastrectomy or laparoscopic band operations. Models will share brief personal stories and photos from their battles with extreme weight and then walk the runway in the latest fashions from local clothing stores.
Proceeds benefit the UC Davis Bariatric Surgery Program.

Cody being out today the show takes on a different feel. The show did flow pretty well and Lori and Amy did great keeping it going. I was happy to see Tina today out in the field as well as Christianne. That was a nice surprise because I knew Charity was already scheduled to be on today. In the GREAT 8 hour of Good Day Sacramento we saw Jenn Brian aka Queen of Dating and her Bowling event at Capital Bowl. Christianne was checking out a pet boutique in Woodland that grooms and provides nutrition for your pets. Charity continued from Weibel Winery. Lori introduced us to Cover me Badd, Check them out tonight at the Powerhouse Pub in Folsom. Finally our favorite Plant Lady Marlene was answering viewer questions.
9am:
The 9am hour we had 1 more song from Cover Me Badd. This song was a little rough to be honest. Amy was previewing the Gift bags for tomorrow nights Grammy Awards. Marlene was answering more plant questions. Charity was checking out Insect Fest at the WOW Museum Christianne checked out the Habitat for Humanity 100th home in Sacramento. Tina was previewing the Inderkum High School Sober Grad event taking place today and the parents of star Tight End of the Denver Broncos, Julius Thomas joined in Studio to talk about their son before they head to Super Bowl XVLIII

In this hour the news of a Mall shooting in Maryland took some of the time away from the show so not all planned could be covered. Life of Live News show at work. What was covered was Joni Hilton aka Youtube Mom gave some great tips with Lori, Cover me Badd was back for another song (Better than the 9am hour song) Tina was checking out a Vegan Nail salon, Lacquered Nail Salon in Sacramento. Charity continued from the Insect Fest. Melissa had Hot Headlines. Christianne was checking out the Blowout Bar in Elk Grove, CA
Final Thoughts:
I'm pretty happy that the char took off as well as it did though it was not planned. It even continued after the show with much of the talk centered around me and being on the show. I respect that but I know my strength and public speaking is not one of them. I love Good Day Sacramento too much to ruin any relationship I have with them. Would I appear on Good Day if asked, Yes but no way in HELL I would think of sitting at the desk hosting. I know my role and I love my role. I know what brings viewers and what drives them away and I would never want to jepordize that. So to end that conversation if they want to talk to me about my hobby, blog, or health fine but trust me I would never try to host the show. I will say that the show went pretty well today. It seemed to move pretty freely with maybe a hiccup during the 7am hour with Charity's segment and Melissa's mic seemed off at times. Off in the term as muffled. The band did okay. The second song (Journey) was not very good and that quickly turned people off to them. In fact Good Day Sacramento didn't post that video but I don't know why.
Hoping for Cody to return tomorrow but rather have him fully ready than not feeling well. I know he will be back Wednesday better than ever and ready to go. But what I do know is tomorrow will be a big day and will consist of....

Cody being out today the show takes on a different feel. The show did flow pretty well and Lori and Amy did great keeping it going. I was happy to see Tina today out in the field as well as Christianne. That was a nice surprise because I knew Charity was already scheduled to be on today. I really enjoyed the Facebook chat that I started and I have more on that coming up in recap. and don't worry Twitter fans I will include you as well.

Today the show kicked off with no Cody? Where is Cody? Christianne was checking out a cool museum in Woodland... The Reiff’s Front Lawn Gas Station I believe was a feature on Julissa's Kooky Collection that aired on PBS Channel 6. That was not the name of the show however. Tony Lopez had a app for life after death so you can tweet.
8am:
In the GREAT 8 hour of Good Day Sacramento we saw Jenn Brian aka Queen of Dating and her Bowling event at Capital Bowl. Christianne was checking out a pet boutique in Woodland that grooms and provides nutrition for your pets. Charity continued from Weibel Winery. Lori introduced us to Cover me Badd, Check them out tonight at the Powerhouse Pub in Folsom. Finally our favorite Plant Lady Marlene was answering viewer questions.
9am:
The 9am hour we had 1 more song from Cover Me Badd. This song was a little rough to be honest. Amy was previewing the Gift bags for tomorrow nights Grammy Awards. Marlene was answering more plant questions. Charity was checking out Insect Fest at the WOW Museum Christianne checked out the Habitat for Humanity 100th home in Sacramento. Tina was previewing the Inderkum High School Sober Grad event taking place today and the parents of star Tight End of the Denver Broncos, Julius Thomas joined in Studio to talk about their son before they head to Super Bowl XVLIII
10am:
In this hour the news of a Mall shooting in Maryland took some of the time away from the show so not all planned could be covered. Life of Live News show at work. What was covered was Joni Hilton aka Youtube Mom gave some great tips with Lori, Cover me Badd was back for another song (Better than the 9am hour song) Tina was checking out a Vegan Nail salon, Lacquered Nail Salon in Sacramento. Charity continued from the Insect Fest. Melissa had Hot Headlines. Christianne was checking out the Blowout Bar in Elk Grove, CA
Final Thoughts:
I'm pretty happy that the char took off as well as it did though it was not planned. It even continued after the show with much of the talk centered around me and being on the show. I respect that but I know my strength and public speaking is not one of them. I love Good Day Sacramento too much to ruin any relationship I have with them. Would I appear on Good Day if asked, Yes but no way in HELL I would think of sitting at the desk hosting. I know my role and I love my role. I know what brings viewers and what drives them away and I would never want to jepordize that. So to end that conversation if they want to talk to me about my hobby, blog, or health fine but trust me I would never try to host the show. I will say that the show went pretty well today. It seemed to move pretty freely with maybe a hiccup during the 7am hour with Charity's segment and Melissa's mic seemed off at times. Off in the term as muffled. The band did okay. The second song (Journey) was not very good and that quickly turned people off to them. In fact Good Day Sacramento didn't post that video but I don't know why.
Hoping for Cody to return tomorrow but rather have him fully ready than not feeling well. I know he will be back Wednesday better than ever and ready to go. But what I do know is tomorrow will be a big day and will consist of....
