Each year, the UC Davis Bariatric Surgery Program spotlights Bariatric patients as they model fashions for business, leisure and formal occasions.
This year’s event features men and women who have lost weight in the months following their gastric bypass, vertical sleeve gastrectomy or laparoscopic band operations. Models will share brief personal stories and photos from their battles with extreme weight and then walk the runway in the latest fashions from local clothing stores.
Proceeds benefit the UC Davis Bariatric Surgery Program.

It’s a short film that is bound to keep you fully engaged for it’s entire 15 minute feature. “See Me” is about two teens who venture out for a celebration for the first time in over a year with fear and hesitation, not knowing what could lie ahead. It is director Diane Cornell, who has been working in film for over 20 years. She began in production accounting and is now a member of DGA (Directors Guild of America). She is hoping the film makes it to some local film festivals. Stars Tina Cole from My Three Sons.

Final Thought:
Today Good Day Sacramento show was so fast paced and jammed packed I actually lost track of time because I was so captivated with the show. From Marianne in Seattle to Lori getting her haircut with Bronco fans to nails being done for a makeover. Christianne was wrestling and showing her moves before going Jewelry shopping of the stars. The kids on the show today not only made the adults look dumb but the music was by far one of my favorites on the show. So what else took place today on Good Day Sacramento Weekend.....

7am:
Marianne opened her Seattle segment at a local Seattle restaurant called 5 Points. Amy was learning to properly cut produce from Michael Marks. Lori was checking out a local barber who loves the Denver Broncos. Amy and Cody talked to a New York man who loves the 49'ers and bought a Seattle Billboard to place special messages. He recieved so many donations he is now donating to Children's hospital and getting support from 49'ers and Seahawks and you can donate to by following the link above. Christianne was back today taking on All Girl Wrestling team at Tokay High School.
8am:
Marianne gave us a history lesson about the Space Needle from the Space Needle. Christianne continued her Hulk Hogan moves at Tokay HS. Michael showed different ways to cut produce and Lori Wallace got her nails done from Sparkles in Elk Grove. You've heard of the Bird Man of Alcatraz today we met the Bird Lady of Ellis Lake in Marysville, This local woman feeds the birds almost everyday to keep her grandfathers tradition alive.
9am:
The 9am hour went by so quickly it got away from me. At one point it was 930 and when I looked at the clock it was 959. The hour kicked off with Marianne finding a San Jose girl who spent about $4200 for tickets to the game tomorrow. Cambi joined forces with produce man Michael Marks how to pick out produce that she has never eaten or stored. Melissa talked to a young man who's grandfather was the first to attend Sac State. Lori visited a new shop in Elk Grove for all your baby needs after she finished getting her nails done at Sparkle. Christianne went shopping at French at Heart in Lodi, This Mom and Pop shop had her custom made jewelry featured at last weekends Golden Globes. Cody introduced us to a beautiful, young (17) singer Claire Wright. Claire has a beautiful voice and has a very bright future ahead.
10am:
Photogapher Scott Z went up the Space Needle while Marianne ran the camera on the ground talking to 49er fans. Christianne continued showing product at French at Heart. Lori was showing us more baby items at Kissed by a Moon. Cambi learned how to properly store produce from Michael Marks. Melissa had Hot Headlines. Cody and Amy talked to an impressive young man who has made several apps for Android and Iphone. Cody talked to the director of See me and Actress Tina Cole who stars in the film For my generation you may best remember Tina in My 3 Sons. Marianne rode the Monorail system in Seattle.
Quick Thought:
As. I said today's Good Day Sacramento was so fast paced jammed packed fun it captivated me enough to lose track of time. Yes with every live broadcast you'll have technical issues but today's Good Day Sacramento might be one of my favorite shows as far as content goes. I've never been to Seattle so the tour we are getting from Marianne has been pretty cool. I'm looking forward to Sundays show.

From Marianne in Seattle to Lori getting her haircut with Bronco fans to nails being done for a makeover. Christianne was wrestling and showing her moves before going Jewelry shopping of the stars. The kids on the show today not only made the adults look dumb but the music was by far one of my favorites on the show. So what else took place today on Good Day Sacramento Weekend.....

7am:
Marianne opened her Seattle segment at a local Seattle restaurant called 5 Points. Amy was learning to properly cut produce from Michael Marks. Lori was checking out a local barber who loves the Denver Broncos. Amy and Cody talked to a New York man who loves the 49'ers and bought a Seattle Billboard to place special messages. He recieved so many donations he is now donating to Children's hospital and getting support from 49'ers and Seahawks and you can donate to by following the link above. Christianne was back today taking on All Girl Wrestling team at Tokay High School.
8am:
Marianne gave us a history lesson about the Space Needle from the Space Needle. Christianne continued her Hulk Hogan moves at Tokay HS. Michael showed different ways to cut produce and Lori Wallace got her nails done from Sparkles in Elk Grove. You've heard of the Bird Man of Alcatraz today we met the Bird Lady of Ellis Lake in Marysville, This local woman feeds the birds almost everyday to keep her grandfathers tradition alive.
9am:
The 9am hour went by so quickly it got away from me. At one point it was 930 and when I looked at the clock it was 959. The hour kicked off with Marianne finding a San Jose girl who spent about $4200 for tickets to the game tomorrow. Cambi joined forces with produce man Michael Marks how to pick out produce that she has never eaten or stored. Melissa talked to a young man who's grandfather was the first to attend Sac State. Lori visited a new shop in Elk Grove for all your baby needs after she finished getting her nails done at Sparkle. Christianne went shopping at French at Heart in Lodi, This Mom and Pop shop had her custom made jewelry featured at last weekends Golden Globes. Cody introduced us to a beautiful, young (17) singer Claire Wright. Claire has a beautiful voice and has a very bright future ahead.
10am:
Photogapher Scott Z went up the Space Needle while Marianne ran the camera on the ground talking to 49er fans. Christianne continued showing product at French at Heart. Lori was showing us more baby items at Kissed by a Moon. Cambi learned how to properly store produce from Michael Marks. Melissa had Hot Headlines. Cody and Amy talked to an impressive young man who has made several apps for Android and Iphone. Cody talked to the director of See me and Actress Tina Cole who stars in the film For my generation you may best remember Tina in My 3 Sons. Marianne rode the Monorail system in Seattle.
Quick Thought:
As. I said today's Good Day Sacramento was so fast paced jammed packed fun it captivated me enough to lose track of time. Yes with every live broadcast you'll have technical issues but today's Good Day Sacramento might be one of my favorite shows as far as content goes. I've never been to Seattle so the tour we are getting from Marianne has been pretty cool. I'm looking forward to Sundays show.
