Courtney is BACK!!!! 2 weeks of R and R and she is now back. She controlled today's show and tell with her vacation photos and stories. Marianne showed a mom surprising her daughter with a trip to Disneyland. Mark is also back and brought News of the Weird with him including a woman who ate a pot sandwich after breaking out of her handcuffs. The 5am Club members were introduced. Marianne's Daily List talked about how to cut sugar out of your diet. The Question of the Day today was What do you have cravings for. Today's Show Us Yours was Suga. No not the white stuff used for baking or coffee they wanted kisses. Here I thought they wanted to borrow some to make a cake or something. :)

In this hour Marianne had her Daily Joe that showed the Kardashian Party with a Ferris Wheel that Eleanor talked about yesterday that just makes your Jump House look like it doesn't belong. Courtney gave a preview of a makeover Ambush that will be taking place. Amy was in Elk Grove checking out Mrs. Kay's Sweet Treats who is a home based bakery. This was part of National Pink Day.
7am:
In the 7am hour as we await the return of Laura Skirde on Good Day Mark was in Stockton touring an old Steamship. Steamship Sherman will become a new restaurant in Stockton on the Water Front. The Makeover Ambush took place and Ken chatted with Dean Norris aka "Big Jim" from CBS Under The Dome premiering next Monday. Marianne talked with an allergy expert who gave tips how to prevent allergies in food.
8am:
LAURA'S BACK!!! Kristin was getting the 411 on Fit Eats who deliver healthy meals to people. Amy was with Cookie Connection's new location in Downtown Sacramento before heading out to deliver cookies on the Cookie Kart. Mark continued to tour the Steamship Sherman. Courtney's makeover ambush continued. Jason Priestly formally from 90210 talked about his new show on Amazon Prime. The #9amtopic today was What is on your Summer Bucket List?
9am:
The 9am Club is BACK Mark, Julissa and Laura all taking part in this hour talked about Julissa's Trending Topics with Naked Wedding Cakes, Fit Eats delivering healthy food with Kristin, Amy handing out cookies in Downtown. The Big reveal of the Ambush Makeover with Courtney. Ken's Manly Minute of taking your shirt off to mow the lawn (Don't do that) and of course today's #9amtopic.
Final Thoughts:
Families Back:
As we know with the summer months and schools out we get vacations. Courtney spent 2 weeks in Hawaii doing fun stuff with her husband and daughter including snorkeling for the first time while Laura was filling in for vacationing weatherman Dave Bender on CBS13 at night. However last week Laura attended a weather conference and Mark jetted off to see his mom and family in Texas for the week. So today the family was together again. Courtney, Julissa, Mark, and Ken snapped a photo this morning and then Julissa, Mark, and Laura snapped one in the 9am hour.
Good Day is Family. Each day they come into our living rooms sometimes checking our fridge or drawers, sometimes wanting some sugar or suga as Ken called it. But regardless of what ever it is they are family because they are always there when needed the most. Not the entire family can be there at once but at least the recent vacation group is back and Cody came back last week along with Kristin who was out on leave. Love they are all coming back. But keep in mind vacations will continue including Melissa and Sean this week and Amy will be going soon as well but for now lets all enjoy what we have in this GREAT Good Day Family.
Mark on a Boat:
Today Mark was in Stockton at the Water Front for a new restaurant coming soon. The Steamship Sherman has made it's voyage back to Stockton where will now become a restaurant along the Stockton Water Front.
Ambush Makeover:
Today with an assist of Good Day (Courtney) Johnny TownCar one Carmichael woman got a special Ambush Makeover from It's My Hair Salon. One mother of 1 surprised her mother who moved to California to sit for the granddaughter so the daughter could return to work so today with help from the previous business mentioned above, Cleo Diaz got her amazing makeover as a BIG Thank You.
Under The Dome:
"Big Jim" aka Dean Norris talked with Ken today about the new season of Under The Doom starting next Monday on CBS. The show for the Sacramento area will be shown at 9pm on CBS13 and yes Cody, and I as well as others will be tweeting during the show with #HalfCow So tune in each Monday at 9pm to see what takes place this season

Cookie Connection now has 4 locations in the area. Roseville, Woodland, Sacramento and the newest Downtown Sacramento location at 400 Capital Mall Drive at the Wells Fargo Building is now open. Amy was delivering cookies on their cool new Cookie Golf Kart in the Downtown Area.

Mark is also back and brought News of the Weird with him including a woman who ate a pot sandwich after breaking out of her handcuffs. The 5am Club members were introduced. Marianne's Daily List talked about how to cut sugar out of your diet. The Question of the Day today was What do you have cravings for. Today's Show Us Yours was Suga. No not the white stuff used for baking or coffee they wanted kisses. Here I thought they wanted to borrow some to make a cake or something. :)

In this hour Marianne had her Daily Joe that showed the Kardashian Party with a Ferris Wheel that Eleanor talked about yesterday that just makes your Jump House look like it doesn't belong. Courtney gave a preview of a makeover Ambush that will be taking place. Amy was in Elk Grove checking out Mrs. Kay's Sweet Treats who is a home based bakery. This was part of National Pink Day.
7am:
In the 7am hour as we await the return of Laura Skirde on Good Day Mark was in Stockton touring an old Steamship. Steamship Sherman will become a new restaurant in Stockton on the Water Front. The Makeover Ambush took place and Ken chatted with Dean Norris aka "Big Jim" from CBS Under The Dome premiering next Monday. Marianne talked with an allergy expert who gave tips how to prevent allergies in food.
8am:
LAURA'S BACK!!! Kristin was getting the 411 on Fit Eats who deliver healthy meals to people. Amy was with Cookie Connection's new location in Downtown Sacramento before heading out to deliver cookies on the Cookie Kart. Mark continued to tour the Steamship Sherman. Courtney's makeover ambush continued. Jason Priestly formally from 90210 talked about his new show on Amazon Prime. The #9amtopic today was What is on your Summer Bucket List?
9am:
The 9am Club is BACK Mark, Julissa and Laura all taking part in this hour talked about Julissa's Trending Topics with Naked Wedding Cakes, Fit Eats delivering healthy food with Kristin, Amy handing out cookies in Downtown. The Big reveal of the Ambush Makeover with Courtney. Ken's Manly Minute of taking your shirt off to mow the lawn (Don't do that) and of course today's #9amtopic.
Final Thoughts:
Families Back:
As we know with the summer months and schools out we get vacations. Courtney spent 2 weeks in Hawaii doing fun stuff with her husband and daughter including snorkeling for the first time while Laura was filling in for vacationing weatherman Dave Bender on CBS13 at night. However last week Laura attended a weather conference and Mark jetted off to see his mom and family in Texas for the week. So today the family was together again. Courtney, Julissa, Mark, and Ken snapped a photo this morning and then Julissa, Mark, and Laura snapped one in the 9am hour.
Good Day is Family. Each day they come into our living rooms sometimes checking our fridge or drawers, sometimes wanting some sugar or suga as Ken called it. But regardless of what ever it is they are family because they are always there when needed the most. Not the entire family can be there at once but at least the recent vacation group is back and Cody came back last week along with Kristin who was out on leave. Love they are all coming back. But keep in mind vacations will continue including Melissa and Sean this week and Amy will be going soon as well but for now lets all enjoy what we have in this GREAT Good Day Family.
Mark on a Boat:
Today Mark was in Stockton at the Water Front for a new restaurant coming soon. The Steamship Sherman has made it's voyage back to Stockton where will now become a restaurant along the Stockton Water Front.
Ambush Makeover:
Today with an assist of Good Day (Courtney) Johnny TownCar one Carmichael woman got a special Ambush Makeover from It's My Hair Salon. One mother of 1 surprised her mother who moved to California to sit for the granddaughter so the daughter could return to work so today with help from the previous business mentioned above, Cleo Diaz got her amazing makeover as a BIG Thank You.
Under The Dome:
"Big Jim" aka Dean Norris talked with Ken today about the new season of Under The Doom starting next Monday on CBS. The show for the Sacramento area will be shown at 9pm on CBS13 and yes Cody, and I as well as others will be tweeting during the show with #HalfCow So tune in each Monday at 9pm to see what takes place this season
Cookie Connection:
Cookie Connection now has 4 locations in the area. Roseville, Woodland, Sacramento and the newest Downtown Sacramento location at 400 Capital Mall Drive at the Wells Fargo Building is now open. Amy was delivering cookies on their cool new Cookie Golf Kart in the Downtown Area.
Treats:
Today is National Pink Day so Amy headed to Kay's Sweet Treats Today on Good Day to see what this award winning home based bakery has to offer.

Today's Trending Topics talked about a surfer/photographer who took pictures while inside the wave. This was so beautiful. The other topic that caught my eye was Naked Wedding Cakes. Cakes with no frosting.. WHAT?
