In 2005 shortly after Hurricane Katrina Make A Wish was born. Make a Wish continues to grant wishes to a child with life threatening diseases Including today Faith get her farm but to sum up this GREAT organization perhaps their Mission Statement will serve as a GREAT reminder of what they do. Cambi: Make-A-Wish Chicken Coop
Make a Wish, Home Depot and The Sac Sheriff’s Toy project are giving 7 year old Faith a mini-farm with a chicken coop! She has a heart condition and wanted to grow her own food and have a coop that is easily accessible to her. Kristin was there during the week to see the progress on the coop and now Cambi was there for the big reveal!

One of my favorite things about Good Day Sacramento are the theme shows. In my opinion no one does it better than the weekend show. and today Cody and Amy turned back the clock to the Old West. Amy dressed as Sheriff Amy and Cody was Cowboy Cody both looking great in their Western Wear. All this was in response to the Western Conference of Authors taking place next week in Sacramento and the book signings at Barnes and Nobles in Citrus Heights. Cambi was in Folsom riding the rails until the train broke down. But she made the best of the situation giving us some cool pictures of wild horses while waiting for this old engine to be fixed.

Lori was at Sleep Train Arena previewing the Endurocross and she talked to 7 time Gold Medalist from X Games. (Insert name)
Make A Wish:
We first saw Kristin do the preparation of Faith's Mini Farm. Today Cambi revealed it on the show and this is just another GREAT story from Make A Wish in addition to the story from Kristin yesterday with Jon Jon driving the train over the Donner Pass.

Cambi got slimed at the Slime Run today on Good Day Sacramento.

I loved the Western theme and the old train that Cambi hopped on board with and of course my favorite was the Make A Wish Reveal for Faith. I don't know how possible it is but my new goal is to go behind the scenes of Make A Wish and do a longer story on this GREAT organization, but it will not take place tomorrow but what will take place is Eleanor will have Gossip, Melissa heads to vacation following the show, I will be talking NASCAR Toyota Save Mart 350 at Sonoma and maybe Doug The Car Czar will too (Unconfirmed) and Tina will be Dishin at another GREAT spot. So tune in tomorrow at 7-1130.

Western Days:
One of my favorite things about Good Day Sacramento are the theme shows. In my opinion no one does it better than the weekend show. and today Cody and Amy turned back the clock to the Old West. Amy dressed as Sheriff Amy and Cody was Cowboy Cody both looking great in their Western Wear. All this was in response to the Western Conference of Authors taking place next week in Sacramento and the book signings at Barnes and Nobles in Citrus Heights. As I said today was Western Day on Good Day because of the Western Writers of America Conference. Authors such as Chris Enss, Bill Markley, Sherry Monahan, Cheewa James all appeared talking about their Western books including cookbooks and Cheewa performing on the Good Day Stage. Not related to the conference was Author Robert Kroese who is one of Cody's favorite authors talking about his new book "Starship Grifters"
2 Minutes:
Back by popular demand Melissa had the ALL Beast edition of 2 Minutes of Mayhem.
Cambi Rides Rail:
Cambi was in Folsom riding the rails until the train broke down. But she made the best of the situation giving us some cool pictures of wild horses while waiting for this old engine to be fixed.
Endurocross:
Lori was at Sleep Train Arena previewing the Endurocross and she talked to 7 time Gold Medalist from X Games. (Insert name)
Make A Wish:
We first saw Kristin do the preparation of Faith's Mini Farm. Today Cambi revealed it on the show and this is just another GREAT story from Make A Wish in addition to the story from Kristin yesterday with Jon Jon driving the train over the Donner Pass.
Slime:
Cambi got slimed at the Slime Run today on Good Day Sacramento.
DodgeBall
Heather got all the Vegan Scoop at Common Kettle Farm so she headed to Sky Zone in Rocklin to play Trampoline Dodge Ball.

What a way to celebrate Summer than to head to the Grange for Summertime food and drinks. That's what Lori did today on Good Day.
Party Pack:
Jordan Jones was in studio showing off her Party in a Box creation. These boxes are formed to cheer you up after a breakup, birthday's alone and more.
Nails:
Debra a local viewer who is not a licenced but she can paint nails. But she does not just do normal red, green, blue nail polish. She paints masterpieces on your nails including Hawaii, Whales, pets and more.
Summer Fruit:
Michael Marks was in studio talking Summer Fruits on this first day of Summer. He talked Peaches, Plums and nectarines

Today Heather was checking out Common Kettle Farms. This is a local family who grow and prepare only natural foods and then take them to Farmers Markets as well.
Red Shoe Crawl:
Red Shoe Crawl takes place next Sunday but today Cody gave a preview of the event that benefits The Ronald McDonald House.
Speed Heather:
Heather was in Roseville at The Roseville All American Speedway previewing tonight's race.
Tomorrow:
I loved the Western theme and the old train that Cambi hopped on board with and of course my favorite was the Make A Wish Reveal for Faith. I don't know how possible it is but my new goal is to go behind the scenes of Make A Wish and do a longer story on this GREAT organization, but it will not take place tomorrow but what will take place is Eleanor will have Gossip, Melissa heads to vacation following the show, I will be talking NASCAR Toyota Save Mart 350 at Sonoma and maybe Doug The Car Czar will too (Unconfirmed) and Tina will be Dishin at another GREAT spot. So tune in tomorrow at 7-1130.
