The Box Office numbers are out and Transformers 4 CRUSHES it's competition. The other movies were no match for these Autobots as they found their way to the top spot with $100,000,000. The Transformers dominated so much the #2 movie, 22 Jump Street only made $15,400,000. Coming in at #3 was How To Train Your Dragon which maintained this spot from last week at 13,100,000. Rounding out the top 5 was last weeks #1 falling 4 spots Think Like A Man Too and Maleficent staying at the 5th spot from last week.

Tonight on CBS Under The Dome Season 2 kicks off. Like last year a group of people led by and under the direction of Cody Stark tweeted about the show during the show. I cannot remember everyone who tweeted but some included Angie Larson, Kat Lancaster, Good Day Producer Tessa and myself. This made for a very fun hour of watching Under The Dome on CBS. The tweets are open to anyone, the show starts at 9pm for us in the Sacramento area because of a contract agreement with CBS CBS13 shows Primetime Shows one hour earlier so that they can have CBS13 News at 10pm. We've all got something in the mail from our jobs we didn't understand. Today, Courtney and the rest of the Good Day cast/crew got just that over the weekend. Courtney shared a huge book they all got explaining their new 401-K program and no understands it. So the second part of Show and Tell they had fun with it and CBS. The 5am Club Members introduced today all have the same name. Doug Wayne Nelson. The question of the day was What is something you lost but found. Today's Show us yours was glasses. Marianne's Daily List talked about how to deal with the loss of your boss who moves on. In Mark's News of the Weird a man was riding on the trunk of a car.
6am:
This hour was all a buzz and rattle. Melissa was checking out snake aversion training for dogs. Amy was at UC Davis learning all about Honey Bees and Marianne's Daily Joe talked about Ducks climbing stairs. Also Julissa talked with Ditto Designer Glasses about how you can shop for your eyewear at home and print them on a 3D printer.
7am:
Mark takes his pants off then dances them back on. WHAT! Julissa took "Behind" the scenes video. Courtney introduced us to a beautiful dancer who danced to spoken word as part of African American Music Month. Melissa was shocked by a shock collar while at Snake training with dogs. Local viewer going around the country looking for old Neon signs joined to talk about her project and you can help fund it and ride with her for a day.
8am:
The music talent continued with 2 amazing kids. Jordan on sax and Ashanti's beautiful voice on the Good Day stage. Kristin was with a local Inline Hockey teen before she heads off to the championships. Amy was in Fairfield for Naked Cakes at Famous Creations. Former Good Day Director turned Hollywood Director stopped by to talk about his new and old projects before sending Brent Baader off into retirement. #9amtopic was introduced. Do you agree with the Supreme Court Decision?
9am:
In this hour the very hot topic of the hour was about the Supreme Court Ruling on how employers can dictate birth controls. With over 130 responses on Facebook this was a Hot Button Topic. Also in this hour Melissa was in Roseville checking out a new Steakhouse Flame and Fire. Brooke and Kristin took Hockey shots before Brooke goes to France. Mark had more infotainment. Courtney and the rest of the crew played Fashion Forum Pass or Fail with the BET awards. Ken's Manly minute talked about 5 bands/Singers men love.

We all got mail from our companies we do not understand and so this weekend the Good Day staff got a large book for their 401-K So Courtney seeked help with hers with the other crew and hilarity ensues with a skit like no other.
Snake Pet Training:
We know the temps are getting hot so when that happens rattlesnakes come out. Today Melissa got training how to protect your dog with Snake Aversion Training with Wills and Skillz.
Naked Cakes:
We first heard about Naked Cakes on Trending Topics. Today Amy was in Fairfield with Famous Creations showing us how they make them and then Amy and Nicolas smashed cake in each others faces.
Mark Dance:
A Viral video of a man dancing to put his pants on was a big hit today on Good Day when Mark not only tried it but did it for the most part. Julissa got "Behind" the scenes action as well.
Young Talent:
June is African American Music Cultural Month so for the final day of the month we met 5 amazing talented kids. First we met Dancer Mikayla Lattimore is helping us celebrate the end of African American Music Month by performing to the voice of Maya Angelou and Dianne Reeves’ Endangered Species. Then Jordan played his amazing Jazz Sax with help from Ken, Courtney, and Mark. Ashanti then wowed us with her beautiful singing voice and finally Abdulla and Devin played soothing
sounds on their guitars. Each of these young talents where just as amazing as the next one.
Hockey Star:
Brooke from Stockton is 13 years old and she is heading to France for the World Inline Hockey Championship. This 13 year old Hockey star will be on the Olympic team soon enough with her skills and she took on Kristin who is really good in sports too.
Joe Carnahan:
Smokin Aces, A Team, The Grey all movies former Good Day Director Joe Carnahan has gone onto do after leaving Good Day. Today in town to say goodbye to long time News Director Brent Baader Joe stopped by the Good Day studio to talk about his past/present/future projects plus send Brent off into retirement.

Having once been a fan of the Boss I am no longer because he changed his style to folk singer but when he sang songs like Born in the USA, Born to run, and On Fire to name a few I was a fan of Bruce Springsteen but not enough to see him in concert. other than Bruce I love all the other bands and/or singers in today's Manly Minute.

For 20 years CBS13/CW31 new one News Director. That has come to an end officially on Saturday with the retirement of Brent Baader.
Brent is one big reason why we the fans of Good Day Sacramento watch it over an old tired broken down 3 hours old Today Show.
It was the vision of Brent that brought Good Day Sacramento to us 19 years ago in August.
Brent has made some tough decisions in his 20 years but some of his best include Marianne, Mark, Cody, Tina, Courtney, Lori, Sean, Cambi, Audrey, Kristin, Julissa, Ken, Amy, Melissa, Laura, and all the great men and women behind the scenes at Good Day Sacramento.
We the fans should be forever grateful to Brent and his work and vision at Good Day Sacramento.
As Brent starts his new chapter in life I wish him nothing but a happy healthy and of course restful retirement. May he spend time traveling, going to the local fishing hole or just relaxing at home. I thank you for everything you've done not only for me but all of the fans like Janet, Ruben, Angie, Barbara, Christy, Jenn, Dan, Kat, Julie, Wendy, Karen, Al and the 10's of thousands of others.

We've all got something in the mail from our jobs we didn't understand. Today, Courtney and the rest of the Good Day cast/crew got just that over the weekend. Courtney shared a huge book they all got explaining their new 401-K program and no understands it. So the second part of Show and Tell they had fun with it and CBS. The 5am Club Members introduced today all have the same name. Doug Wayne Nelson. The question of the day was What is something you lost but found. Today's Show us yours was glasses. Marianne's Daily List talked about how to deal with the loss of your boss who moves on. In Mark's News of the Weird a man was riding on the trunk of a car.
6am:
This hour was all a buzz and rattle. Melissa was checking out snake aversion training for dogs. Amy was at UC Davis learning all about Honey Bees and Marianne's Daily Joe talked about Ducks climbing stairs. Also Julissa talked with Ditto Designer Glasses about how you can shop for your eyewear at home and print them on a 3D printer.
7am:
Mark takes his pants off then dances them back on. WHAT! Julissa took "Behind" the scenes video. Courtney introduced us to a beautiful dancer who danced to spoken word as part of African American Music Month. Melissa was shocked by a shock collar while at Snake training with dogs. Local viewer going around the country looking for old Neon signs joined to talk about her project and you can help fund it and ride with her for a day.
8am:
The music talent continued with 2 amazing kids. Jordan on sax and Ashanti's beautiful voice on the Good Day stage. Kristin was with a local Inline Hockey teen before she heads off to the championships. Amy was in Fairfield for Naked Cakes at Famous Creations. Former Good Day Director turned Hollywood Director stopped by to talk about his new and old projects before sending Brent Baader off into retirement. #9amtopic was introduced. Do you agree with the Supreme Court Decision?
9am:
In this hour the very hot topic of the hour was about the Supreme Court Ruling on how employers can dictate birth controls. With over 130 responses on Facebook this was a Hot Button Topic. Also in this hour Melissa was in Roseville checking out a new Steakhouse Flame and Fire. Brooke and Kristin took Hockey shots before Brooke goes to France. Mark had more infotainment. Courtney and the rest of the crew played Fashion Forum Pass or Fail with the BET awards. Ken's Manly minute talked about 5 bands/Singers men love.

We all got mail from our companies we do not understand and so this weekend the Good Day staff got a large book for their 401-K So Courtney seeked help with hers with the other crew and hilarity ensues with a skit like no other.
Snake Pet Training:
We know the temps are getting hot so when that happens rattlesnakes come out. Today Melissa got training how to protect your dog with Snake Aversion Training with Wills and Skillz.
Naked Cakes:
We first heard about Naked Cakes on Trending Topics. Today Amy was in Fairfield with Famous Creations showing us how they make them and then Amy and Nicolas smashed cake in each others faces.
Mark Dance:
A Viral video of a man dancing to put his pants on was a big hit today on Good Day when Mark not only tried it but did it for the most part. Julissa got "Behind" the scenes action as well.
Young Talent:
June is African American Music Cultural Month so for the final day of the month we met 5 amazing talented kids. First we met Dancer Mikayla Lattimore is helping us celebrate the end of African American Music Month by performing to the voice of Maya Angelou and Dianne Reeves’ Endangered Species. Then Jordan played his amazing Jazz Sax with help from Ken, Courtney, and Mark. Ashanti then wowed us with her beautiful singing voice and finally Abdulla and Devin played soothing
sounds on their guitars. Each of these young talents where just as amazing as the next one.
Hockey Star:
Brooke from Stockton is 13 years old and she is heading to France for the World Inline Hockey Championship. This 13 year old Hockey star will be on the Olympic team soon enough with her skills and she took on Kristin who is really good in sports too.
Joe Carnahan:
Smokin Aces, A Team, The Grey all movies former Good Day Director Joe Carnahan has gone onto do after leaving Good Day. Today in town to say goodbye to long time News Director Brent Baader Joe stopped by the Good Day studio to talk about his past/present/future projects plus send Brent off into retirement.

Having once been a fan of the Boss I am no longer because he changed his style to folk singer but when he sang songs like Born in the USA, Born to run, and On Fire to name a few I was a fan of Bruce Springsteen but not enough to see him in concert. other than Bruce I love all the other bands and/or singers in today's Manly Minute.

On today's Daily List Marianne talked about when your boss leaves because their boss is retiring after 20 years. In case you missed it from yesterday here is my Goodbye to Brent Baader:
For 20 years CBS13/CW31 new one News Director. That has come to an end officially on Saturday with the retirement of Brent Baader.
Brent is one big reason why we the fans of Good Day Sacramento watch it over an old tired broken down 3 hours old Today Show.
It was the vision of Brent that brought Good Day Sacramento to us 19 years ago in August.
Brent has made some tough decisions in his 20 years but some of his best include Marianne, Mark, Cody, Tina, Courtney, Lori, Sean, Cambi, Audrey, Kristin, Julissa, Ken, Amy, Melissa, Laura, and all the great men and women behind the scenes at Good Day Sacramento.
We the fans should be forever grateful to Brent and his work and vision at Good Day Sacramento.
As Brent starts his new chapter in life I wish him nothing but a happy healthy and of course restful retirement. May he spend time traveling, going to the local fishing hole or just relaxing at home. I thank you for everything you've done not only for me but all of the fans like Janet, Ruben, Angie, Barbara, Christy, Jenn, Dan, Kat, Julie, Wendy, Karen, Al and the 10's of thousands of others.
