The Oscar Goes to.... Today in the News Weekend Edition Part 2 3/2/2014:
Opening Statement:
Today is Oscar Day, and we celebrate all things Golden Statue in Hollywood. A lot of good Movies are nominated and according to Mark S. Allen it should be 12 Years A Slave that takes home best picture but beware of Dallas Buyers Club, Gravity, American Hustle and Long Shot Captain Phillips. Each year Mark makes his predictions for who he thinks will win the BIG 8 categories on the Friday before Oscar Night. Here is the complete list of 8. Mark is required to get 6 of the 8 correct or his Good Day Family can and will embarrass him but in return if Mark does get 6 of 8 he gets to pick what he wants and this year he wants breakfast in bed.

The Award to the BEST Morning Show EVER goes to Good Day Sacramento. Today's show was the Good Day Sacramento Weekend Oscar Theme show and all the ladies dressed beyond beautiful and the men looked Dashing. It was fun filled 4 hours with food and fun including Dishin With Tina and 1 GREAT story to be sure to get the tears flowing all today in Today in the News Weekend Edition Part 2.

7am:
In this hour it is the Special Good Day Weekend Edition Oscar Show. All the crew dress in beautiful tux's and dresses. Eleanor kicked off the hour with her Hollywood Gossip and later took home an award for Best Gossip Queen. The Show us yours today was a picture of you accepting your own Oscar. The GDSJustCurious questions was Compliment you received this week. Melissa was at the Original Pancake House in Roseville asking Oscar Trivia and making an Oscar Statue Pancake. Cambi was in Stockton for a Motorcycle Vendor Show and Swap Meet. Nina was hanging out with Mark S. Allen talking Oscar Predictions. Amy introduced us to the Orchestra.
8am:
In this hour Cambi continued from the Stockton Motorcycle Swap Meet, Marlene the Plant Lady was answering questions and looking stunning in her gown today. Nina got more predictions from Mark S. Allen for the Oscars, This time Mark was at least dressed on the top half of his body. Melissa was recreating a scene from Gravity at the Discovery Space Museum. Kevin handed out 2 more awards, First to Producer Morgan and then to himself. Amy was busy with 2 segments First visiting with Heather from Party City then the story of the day from 10 year old Riley Simmons who had her Make-a-Wish wish granted. Such a beautiful story so glad they shared it with all of us. Finally Today is a Dishin Day and Tina was Dishin with Tina at Riverside Club House - Ken's Choice.
9am:
This hour Amy previewed food from Pearl on the River that will be fed to the stars at tonight's Oscar Awards. Cody and Amy talked to Aaron from Society Awards who makes all the awards for the Award shows and also to Author Robert Kroese for his new book coming out Mercury Revolt. Melissa was at Wilson Trophy Company getting her own special award. Nina was celebrating Dr. Seuss at Fairytale Town. The Plant Lady answered viewers questions. Kevin gave Best Director Award to Julian.
10am:
In the final hour of the show the Kevin Awards continued with Cody, Amy and Marta picking up a trophy. Nina was playing Volleyball while Melissa was checking out Food Truck Mania in Woodland. Amy got plant tips from Marlene and Cody and Amy talked to a Rancho Cordova woman live via Skype from the Red Carpet. Lori had the Hot Headlines - Oscar Edition and Cambi was getting her party on at French 25 in Stockton for an Oscar Party. The Abraham kids took the Good Day Sacramento stage to perform a Dr. Seuss song. You may remember these kids when we first met them in December when they wowed us on the Good Day Stage.
Final Thoughts:
Today on good day Sacramento it was Oscar day and all the Good Day ladies look beautiful stunning an amazing in their gowns. Cody also look very very dashing in his tuxedo Kevin looked great in his suit Julian looked great in his suit.
On the actual show Melissa was in Roseville checking out the Original Pancake House asking questions of Oscar trivia before she went in reenacted a scene from gravity then she went to the Food Truck Mania in Woodland.
Cambi was missing in the 9 o'clock hour but was in Stockton for the 7am & 8am hours for a motorcycle swap meet before checking out a Oscar party.
Nina got a sight when she visited Mark S. Allen and discovered him in the shower before talking Oscar predictions then heading to celebrate Dr. Seuss and playing volleyball.
Cody and Amy had fun in studio as well with the Kevin Awards, Abraham kids performing Riley sharing her Make-a-wish that came true and the beef cake models. One thing I could do without is Oscar showing his little Oscar but all an all it was a fun show that featured a lot of Oscar talk including Eleanor and her gossip who by the way does excellent week after week and it's always great on a Dishin with Tina day.
Next weekend will be different for me and I'll have more information on that Wednesday, but here is what's ahead for the week on Good Day Sacramento...

The Award to the BEST Morning Show EVER goes to Good Day Sacramento. Today's show was the Good Day Sacramento Weekend Oscar Theme show and all the ladies dressed beyond beautiful and the men looked Dashing. It was fun filled 4 hours with food and fun including Dishin With Tina and 1 GREAT story to be sure to get the tears flowing all today in Today in the News Weekend Edition Part 2.

7am:
In this hour it is the Special Good Day Weekend Edition Oscar Show. All the crew dress in beautiful tux's and dresses. Eleanor kicked off the hour with her Hollywood Gossip and later took home an award for Best Gossip Queen. The Show us yours today was a picture of you accepting your own Oscar. The GDSJustCurious questions was Compliment you received this week. Melissa was at the Original Pancake House in Roseville asking Oscar Trivia and making an Oscar Statue Pancake. Cambi was in Stockton for a Motorcycle Vendor Show and Swap Meet. Nina was hanging out with Mark S. Allen talking Oscar Predictions. Amy introduced us to the Orchestra.
8am:
In this hour Cambi continued from the Stockton Motorcycle Swap Meet, Marlene the Plant Lady was answering questions and looking stunning in her gown today. Nina got more predictions from Mark S. Allen for the Oscars, This time Mark was at least dressed on the top half of his body. Melissa was recreating a scene from Gravity at the Discovery Space Museum. Kevin handed out 2 more awards, First to Producer Morgan and then to himself. Amy was busy with 2 segments First visiting with Heather from Party City then the story of the day from 10 year old Riley Simmons who had her Make-a-Wish wish granted. Such a beautiful story so glad they shared it with all of us. Finally Today is a Dishin Day and Tina was Dishin with Tina at Riverside Club House - Ken's Choice.
9am:
This hour Amy previewed food from Pearl on the River that will be fed to the stars at tonight's Oscar Awards. Cody and Amy talked to Aaron from Society Awards who makes all the awards for the Award shows and also to Author Robert Kroese for his new book coming out Mercury Revolt. Melissa was at Wilson Trophy Company getting her own special award. Nina was celebrating Dr. Seuss at Fairytale Town. The Plant Lady answered viewers questions. Kevin gave Best Director Award to Julian.
10am:
In the final hour of the show the Kevin Awards continued with Cody, Amy and Marta picking up a trophy. Nina was playing Volleyball while Melissa was checking out Food Truck Mania in Woodland. Amy got plant tips from Marlene and Cody and Amy talked to a Rancho Cordova woman live via Skype from the Red Carpet. Lori had the Hot Headlines - Oscar Edition and Cambi was getting her party on at French 25 in Stockton for an Oscar Party. The Abraham kids took the Good Day Sacramento stage to perform a Dr. Seuss song. You may remember these kids when we first met them in December when they wowed us on the Good Day Stage.
Final Thoughts:
Today on good day Sacramento it was Oscar day and all the Good Day ladies look beautiful stunning an amazing in their gowns. Cody also look very very dashing in his tuxedo Kevin looked great in his suit Julian looked great in his suit.
On the actual show Melissa was in Roseville checking out the Original Pancake House asking questions of Oscar trivia before she went in reenacted a scene from gravity then she went to the Food Truck Mania in Woodland.
Cambi was missing in the 9 o'clock hour but was in Stockton for the 7am & 8am hours for a motorcycle swap meet before checking out a Oscar party.
Nina got a sight when she visited Mark S. Allen and discovered him in the shower before talking Oscar predictions then heading to celebrate Dr. Seuss and playing volleyball.
Cody and Amy had fun in studio as well with the Kevin Awards, Abraham kids performing Riley sharing her Make-a-wish that came true and the beef cake models. One thing I could do without is Oscar showing his little Oscar but all an all it was a fun show that featured a lot of Oscar talk including Eleanor and her gossip who by the way does excellent week after week and it's always great on a Dishin with Tina day.
Next weekend will be different for me and I'll have more information on that Wednesday, but here is what's ahead for the week on Good Day Sacramento...
