Baseball Season is BACK!!! For this area the A's begin to defend their title tonight in Oakland and the Giants try to return to glory when they take on Arizona. Then in a couple of weeks the Sacramento River Cats start up and try to return to PCL Championship ways.
The season started officially last night when the Dodgers fell to the Padres.. I wonder how many LA fans which Brian Wilson was back on the Giants after giving up 3 runs in last nights game?

On My58 a new NBC map shows who has a bigger fanbase in MLB as the 2014 season opens today. They also showed a state of the art facility opening at Mercy in Sacramento for cardiac patients.

I have teased where Zohreen is and will get to that in my Final Thoughts but today on Fox they talked work out tips for your core with KAIA Fit, How to treat your pet for a UTI. Generation Me the Musical coming to Folsom on April 4th. and Sacramento Food Co Op is offering a new set of cooking classes that included cooking with wild mushrooms.
Good Day Sacramento:
430/5am:
Marianne is off at least today so that meant no Daily List. McDonald's is giving FREE coffee away from Today through April 13 and Julissa was there first to check it out. Then Dave Gras was travelling around collecting FREE coffee even though he doesn't drink it. Amy was back and in Show and Tell shared how she injured her knee jump roping. The 5am Club Member was introduced and Question of the day was asked. I didn't really want to go___? The Show us your topic today is PJ's for a segment Amy will share later today.
6am:
In this hour Gras on the Go for FREE coffee continued with Dave picking up a total of 5 in the 2 hours and handing them out to homeless. Mark had entertainment news and Julissa met a local North Highlands Couple getting married later this year in Denver at Invesco field. He loves Denver, She loves Patriots.
7am:
In this hour Ken talked to Linda Michaelis, Dietitian about healthy eating in Frozen foods. Dave continued his quest for FREE coffee from McDonald's and delivered some to the Good Day Studio. Amy talked to a local Suisun woman who makes Therapeutic PJ's that are perfect for those who might need surgery. Mark and Ken talked to both James Vanderbeek and Brooklyn Decker about their new CBS show Friends.with Better Lives and they also talked to Julie Brennan about her Children's Book 7th Inning Stretch about Baseball and the Giants in time for Opening Day of the Baseball Season. Mark and Ken also talked to the Project Manager for ACE trains as they perform maintenance on the train.
8am:
In this hour Cambi was getting ways to save water with water efficient plants. Mark was checking out a local Skee Ball club. Ken talked to Keith Brooks about the Final 4 match ups. Amy and Ken talked to Brian from Ace Train as he showed off more from the facility. El Camino Grad and former intern at KSFM 102.5 Ebro joined to talk about his new show on Vh-1. Ebro also shared stories of working with Courtney and Mark back in the day. The #9amtopic was introduced asking is having the Lottery available at the gas pump a good or bad idea.
9am:
In this hour Laura and Julissa guided us through the 9amtopic and also had some fun with Trending Topics that included a trend of Babies in a suit on Instagram. Also in this hour Mark went head to head with a Skee Ball pro in Sacramento. Mark didn't do so well. Cambi continued looking at new ways to save water with water efficient plants. Ken had his Manly Minute where he talked about Opening Day Traditions for Baseball. Mark was back in studio to join in on the folks from Huckleberry's and their new menu items then he talked about Cesar Chavez the movie and a GREAT Now 100.5 event that is featuring Mary Lambert and the Goo Goo Dolls. Courtney wanted to know What's your favorite Old School game in today's final question of the day.
Final Thoughts:
Much of My58, and Fox40 they talked about the Covered California event helping people sign up for healthcare. I am not getting into that. So with that said on My58 they talked about Baseball Season Opening Day and a new state of the art facility for Mercy. Teo is off this week so Mike Teselle stopped in at the desk with Deidre.
Fox40 talked had normal Monday staples of Ask a Vet with today's topic treating UTI's on your pet and Motivational Monday with KAIA Fit sharing workout tips for your core. Plus Sacramento Food Co Op was in the kitchen cooking wild mushrooms and talking about new classes for just $45. Generation Me is coming to Folsom and they came into the studio to talk about this 10 day event.
Okay so you may be wondering Where is Zohreen? I can confirm that Zohreen is off of the morning show however still with Fox40. Zohreen can now be seen covering the 5, 530, 6, and 10pm newscast as a featured reporter. Zohreen was off last week however did confirm to me of this change. I do not know if this is permanent or temporary but I know for sure now she is at night.
I will miss Zohreen in the morning because she was always helping me with Today in the News along the way. I hope she will still assist me in the ways to make this blog better each day and provide information needed on follow up stories. Thank you for all your help Zohreen.
Good Day had a fun day. After a week off we saw Amy in studio yesterday but today she was back doing weather and covering the desk with Ken for the vacationing Marianne. I thought she would be back today but not yet. Anyway back to Amy, she shared details of her knee injury as well as possibly needing surgery on that injured knee.
Courtney and Mark interviewed old friend and coworker Ebro for his new VH-1 show.
Julissa started it and Camera Guy Dave finished it getting FREE coffee from McDonald's and then Dave gave to homeless.
Cambi was getting Water saving plant tips this morning. While Mark was playing Skee Ball with a local Sacramento Skee Ball group.
Today is Baseball Season Opening Day and Ken and Mark talked to a local author and Ken gave opening day rituals in his Manly Minute.
Today's shows did well but Good Day was far and away better especially with Zohreen off the Fox40 Morning show. I am just grateful Bethany and Sabrina are still there or Fox would be dropped from this rotation. It's bad enough with no Lisa on My58 covering them but if all those ladies left I would make this a Good Day Only Blog.

On My58 a new NBC map shows who has a bigger fanbase in MLB as the 2014 season opens today. They also showed a state of the art facility opening at Mercy in Sacramento for cardiac patients.
Fox40:
I have teased where Zohreen is and will get to that in my Final Thoughts but today on Fox they talked work out tips for your core with KAIA Fit, How to treat your pet for a UTI. Generation Me the Musical coming to Folsom on April 4th. and Sacramento Food Co Op is offering a new set of cooking classes that included cooking with wild mushrooms.

Marianne is off at least today so that meant no Daily List. McDonald's is giving FREE coffee away from Today through April 13 and Julissa was there first to check it out. Then Dave Gras was travelling around collecting FREE coffee even though he doesn't drink it. Amy was back and in Show and Tell shared how she injured her knee jump roping. The 5am Club Member was introduced and Question of the day was asked. I didn't really want to go___? The Show us your topic today is PJ's for a segment Amy will share later today.
6am:
In this hour Gras on the Go for FREE coffee continued with Dave picking up a total of 5 in the 2 hours and handing them out to homeless. Mark had entertainment news and Julissa met a local North Highlands Couple getting married later this year in Denver at Invesco field. He loves Denver, She loves Patriots.
7am:
In this hour Ken talked to Linda Michaelis, Dietitian about healthy eating in Frozen foods. Dave continued his quest for FREE coffee from McDonald's and delivered some to the Good Day Studio. Amy talked to a local Suisun woman who makes Therapeutic PJ's that are perfect for those who might need surgery. Mark and Ken talked to both James Vanderbeek and Brooklyn Decker about their new CBS show Friends.with Better Lives and they also talked to Julie Brennan about her Children's Book 7th Inning Stretch about Baseball and the Giants in time for Opening Day of the Baseball Season. Mark and Ken also talked to the Project Manager for ACE trains as they perform maintenance on the train.
8am:
In this hour Cambi was getting ways to save water with water efficient plants. Mark was checking out a local Skee Ball club. Ken talked to Keith Brooks about the Final 4 match ups. Amy and Ken talked to Brian from Ace Train as he showed off more from the facility. El Camino Grad and former intern at KSFM 102.5 Ebro joined to talk about his new show on Vh-1. Ebro also shared stories of working with Courtney and Mark back in the day. The #9amtopic was introduced asking is having the Lottery available at the gas pump a good or bad idea.
9am:
In this hour Laura and Julissa guided us through the 9amtopic and also had some fun with Trending Topics that included a trend of Babies in a suit on Instagram. Also in this hour Mark went head to head with a Skee Ball pro in Sacramento. Mark didn't do so well. Cambi continued looking at new ways to save water with water efficient plants. Ken had his Manly Minute where he talked about Opening Day Traditions for Baseball. Mark was back in studio to join in on the folks from Huckleberry's and their new menu items then he talked about Cesar Chavez the movie and a GREAT Now 100.5 event that is featuring Mary Lambert and the Goo Goo Dolls. Courtney wanted to know What's your favorite Old School game in today's final question of the day.
Final Thoughts:
Much of My58, and Fox40 they talked about the Covered California event helping people sign up for healthcare. I am not getting into that. So with that said on My58 they talked about Baseball Season Opening Day and a new state of the art facility for Mercy. Teo is off this week so Mike Teselle stopped in at the desk with Deidre.
Fox40 talked had normal Monday staples of Ask a Vet with today's topic treating UTI's on your pet and Motivational Monday with KAIA Fit sharing workout tips for your core. Plus Sacramento Food Co Op was in the kitchen cooking wild mushrooms and talking about new classes for just $45. Generation Me is coming to Folsom and they came into the studio to talk about this 10 day event.
Okay so you may be wondering Where is Zohreen? I can confirm that Zohreen is off of the morning show however still with Fox40. Zohreen can now be seen covering the 5, 530, 6, and 10pm newscast as a featured reporter. Zohreen was off last week however did confirm to me of this change. I do not know if this is permanent or temporary but I know for sure now she is at night.
I will miss Zohreen in the morning because she was always helping me with Today in the News along the way. I hope she will still assist me in the ways to make this blog better each day and provide information needed on follow up stories. Thank you for all your help Zohreen.
Good Day had a fun day. After a week off we saw Amy in studio yesterday but today she was back doing weather and covering the desk with Ken for the vacationing Marianne. I thought she would be back today but not yet. Anyway back to Amy, she shared details of her knee injury as well as possibly needing surgery on that injured knee.
Courtney and Mark interviewed old friend and coworker Ebro for his new VH-1 show.
Julissa started it and Camera Guy Dave finished it getting FREE coffee from McDonald's and then Dave gave to homeless.
Cambi was getting Water saving plant tips this morning. While Mark was playing Skee Ball with a local Sacramento Skee Ball group.
Today is Baseball Season Opening Day and Ken and Mark talked to a local author and Ken gave opening day rituals in his Manly Minute.
Today's shows did well but Good Day was far and away better especially with Zohreen off the Fox40 Morning show. I am just grateful Bethany and Sabrina are still there or Fox would be dropped from this rotation. It's bad enough with no Lisa on My58 covering them but if all those ladies left I would make this a Good Day Only Blog.
Tina returns to Good Day tomorrow and here is a brief look ahead to the rest of the week....
