Opening Statement:
Today I want to start off by going back to a story I didn't feel like I gave proper coverage from yesterday. Starting Friday is the Fill the Boot For Burns Campaign for Sacramento Metro Fire District. This event is near and dear to my heart for several reasons. I come from a Firefighting family. My Grandfather, Uncle, and Dad all served as Chiefs in New York and my brother who currently works for Sac Metro is an Engineer.The other reason why this event is important to me is because I have taken a tour of the burn unit and volunteered at the institute years ago so I got a first hand look at a lot of the things they do. The final reason because it is Tina. Tina is like an aunt to me and as I said last week Family whether it is blood family or friends who are close to you we need to help out when we can. Which brings me to my point of all of this. Saturday is Media Challenge and Tina will be taking on other members from other stations. Last year Courtney broke a record for amount collected. Today in Show and Tell Ken talked about a band connected to a motorcycle that pulls over and plays then gets back on and goes down the road. Mark had his News of the Weird including a Limited Edition Nike Sneaker from Kanye that sold on Ebay for $90,000. Today's Question of the Day was what trend did you wear back in the day, It was revealed Cody wore a Dew Rag. Elby was today's 5am Club Member and Marianne had one of the BEST Daily Lists talking about how some foods got created... Did you know Doritos were created at Disneyland by mistake?
6am:
In the 6am hour It was game time. Courtney played Guess the Good Day cast members Garage before showing us a home in the Tahoe Park area of Sacramento that took their garage and made it into a cabin. Julissa was helping in the Momtourage kitchen making meatloaf cupcakes. Amy was checking out the $12 Million Eddie Murphy home in Granite Bay. This hour she showed the 9 car Garage.
7am:
This hour more of the Game Show sweeping the Nation with Courtney Guess the Good Day Garage. Marianne got a text from Kidney patient Donna CJ updating us on her progress. Mark and Ken talked to Gabe from Travelzoo about how to stretch your money in Vegas. (Don't throw it away) Mark also talked about a BIG Stunt coming up on Monday's Good Day Sacramento that has Hollywood Stuntman Gary Davis involved. Julissa was getting crafty with Momtourage. Courtney previewed Fashion Week that starts this Sunday - Saturday. Amy continued from Eddie Murphys home where she showed the piano he bought from Prince that comes with the house.
8am:
The Eddie House tour continued from Amy, Mark was checking out a new sandwich spot opening in Sacramento. The Guess the Garage Game Show was continued with Courtney. Marianne and Ken talked to Henry Winkler aka the Fonz about his newest children's book. Cambi is celebrating her birthday today and a Donut Shop from Folsom "The Donut Shop" delivers so they delivered to her mom's work. Teens Tunes was played and #9amtopic (What part of your home is off limits) was introduced.
9am:
In the final hour of the show Amy finished her tour of Eddie Murphy's house in Granite Bay. Mark had some entertainment talking about Starbucks refusing service to Justin Bieber, Courtney had the final round of Guess the Garage, Cambi finished her Donut deliveries up at the station spreading cheer throughout the newsroom. Ken's Manly Minute was about gift ideas woman can give their man for Valentines Day. Tina's final question was What to get Cambi for her birthday.
Final Thoughts:
Recently you may have seen a Facebook Page for Colin to wish him a Happy Birthday. Colin suffers from Asperger and didn't have friends to invite to his birthday so his mom created a Facebook Page for people to wish her son a Happy Birthday. I really didn't know much about this story until today and I now have also liked this page. So if you find it in your heart to like this page. I strongly encourage it. Fox had Thunder Valley in the kitchen while Good Day Sacramento was helping in the kitchen making a meal, delivering donuts, eating sandwiches and it was Dishin With Tina day today so La Rosa was the in studio guest making delicious Mexican food.

Again this week Fox didn't really provide much for me today. Zohreen was covering the State of the City Address tonight for much of the show. Sabrina was hanging out with stunt dogs performing at Bob Hope Theater as part of her Spotlight Stockton segments. Thunder Valley was in the Fox 40 kitchen today.

Today in Show and Tell Ken talked about a band connected to a motorcycle that pulls over and plays then gets back on and goes down the road. Mark had his News of the Weird including a Limited Edition Nike Sneaker from Kanye that sold on Ebay for $90,000. Today's Question of the Day was what trend did you wear back in the day, It was revealed Cody wore a Dew Rag. Elby was today's 5am Club Member and Marianne had one of the BEST Daily Lists talking about how some foods got created... Did you know Doritos were created at Disneyland by mistake?
6am:
In the 6am hour It was game time. Courtney played Guess the Good Day cast members Garage before showing us a home in the Tahoe Park area of Sacramento that took their garage and made it into a cabin. Julissa was helping in the Momtourage kitchen making meatloaf cupcakes. Amy was checking out the $12 Million Eddie Murphy home in Granite Bay. This hour she showed the 9 car Garage.
7am:
This hour more of the Game Show sweeping the Nation with Courtney Guess the Good Day Garage. Marianne got a text from Kidney patient Donna CJ updating us on her progress. Mark and Ken talked to Gabe from Travelzoo about how to stretch your money in Vegas. (Don't throw it away) Mark also talked about a BIG Stunt coming up on Monday's Good Day Sacramento that has Hollywood Stuntman Gary Davis involved. Julissa was getting crafty with Momtourage. Courtney previewed Fashion Week that starts this Sunday - Saturday. Amy continued from Eddie Murphys home where she showed the piano he bought from Prince that comes with the house.
8am:
The Eddie House tour continued from Amy, Mark was checking out a new sandwich spot opening in Sacramento. The Guess the Garage Game Show was continued with Courtney. Marianne and Ken talked to Henry Winkler aka the Fonz about his newest children's book. Cambi is celebrating her birthday today and a Donut Shop from Folsom "The Donut Shop" delivers so they delivered to her mom's work. Teens Tunes was played and #9amtopic (What part of your home is off limits) was introduced.
9am:
In the final hour of the show Amy finished her tour of Eddie Murphy's house in Granite Bay. Mark had some entertainment talking about Starbucks refusing service to Justin Bieber, Courtney had the final round of Guess the Garage, Cambi finished her Donut deliveries up at the station spreading cheer throughout the newsroom. Ken's Manly Minute was about gift ideas woman can give their man for Valentines Day. Tina's final question was What to get Cambi for her birthday.
Final Thoughts:
Recently you may have seen a Facebook Page for Colin to wish him a Happy Birthday. Colin suffers from Asperger and didn't have friends to invite to his birthday so his mom created a Facebook Page for people to wish her son a Happy Birthday. I really didn't know much about this story until today and I now have also liked this page. So if you find it in your heart to like this page. I strongly encourage it.
