Opening Statement:
One day away from Valentines Day for all the love birds who celebrate the day got me thinking about when I was a kid and all those countless nights I spent making cards to hand out when I was in school and hoping to get some back from the girls in the class. Now many years later those cards are gone and its all about Diamonds, candy, cars, and all things you can think of. I am just lucky that the woman in my life know that I love them and will always be there for them regardless of location, weather or money I may or may not have the love is unconditional and will always be.

The second came toward the end of the 5am hour with Marianne telling us NOT to buy your sweetheart a Vacuum. Also in the hour Mark had News of the Weird where one woman changed her name to Sexy. Courtney had Question of the Day and our 5am Club member and Today's Show us yours photos started to be shown.
6am:
In this hour Melissa was getting skin care treatment with Cool Sculpting. Julissa was at Relles Florist for the last minute flower buyers as they prepare for Valentines Day. Doug The Car Czar talked about the bench seat disappearing in cars. Finally Marianne had today's Daily Joe where she talked about 1 woman who eats with you via internet.
7am:
In the 7am hour Melissa continued from Cool Sculpting, Julissa was checking out Prom at Crocker Art Museum happening tonight. The Car Czar talked about Heavy Rain
8am:
The GREAT 8 got it's name from the weekend show because it always seems to be the busiest hour and that holds true to the Weekday show. Today Melissa continued from Coolsculpting. Lori was checking out the progress of a local Vet getting a home makeover from Home Depot. Tina had Check this out moment with Mark who modeled a new underwear from Under Armour. Mark, Marianne, and Ken talked to Endless Love star ALEX PETTYFER. Mark also checked in with Todd and Nina from NOW 100.5. Teens Tunes was played and the #9amtopic was introduced. Courtney talked about how you can save energy by getting a Library card.
9am:
Mark, Julissa and Laura guided us through the hour that provided us with GREAT DIY Tips from Gina and ThriftTown for Valentines Gift making. Melissa was checking out a guitar shop that makes guitar rift doorbells. Lori reported on the progress of the Vet Home makeover. Tina was checking out what is on the Menu for Valentines Day at Cafeteria 15L. Ken's Manly Minute was how to avoid Valentine Day blues and prior to Tina's final questions, Mark took his pants off.
Final Thoughts:
As I said tomorrow is valentines day and as I stated earlier this week it's hard for me to get into after a bad situation that occurred in my life on the day. I always think about what I could do different but I know the people close to me are not into it as well so it's hard for me to do anything. Don't get me wrong I love seeing love young old and in between. But over the years I've learned you don't need a special day to tell the one you love just how much because you should already tell them daily. It doesn't have to be verbal all the time because actions speak louder than words. If you love someone take them to a nice dinner, a movie of their choice, give money so they can go get a new outfit to wear whether it be for work or play. I love giving roses but I hate that they cost so much money only to die in a few days so for me as we learned today from Julissa they cost $105 and up then in a few days they go in the trash meaning so does that money you spent. 1 rose is nice but put a card with it and put that $100 in and make it last longer. If she's been wanting work done around the house you can always do that together and make it fun, if she chooses shopping go with her because then she can ask you if that new outfit looks good on her and who knows lingerie shopping could always be in the works. Maybe she has a party coming up you'll be going to or she's wants new art supplies for an art project just know what she likes and dislikes and then use your imagination. Ladies agree or disagree? Just some thoughts from me on how to show ways to love that special person in your life.
Today both shows delivered. I felt like Fox really stepped up from a somewhat disappointing day yesterday. Today they had a lot of coverage but it was Good Day who won the day with everything they do and the laughter keeping me going.
I do have one concern for my friends at Good Day Sacramento today. It appears illness has entered the building once again. This time hitting Courtney and again Cody. I wish I could help Cody get over all the sickness that he has had of late. Take care of yourself.
Tomorrow is Valentines Day and both stations will be covering all angles of it. Good Day has a lot planned for the day as you can see in....

The GREAT 8 got it's name from the weekend show because it always seems to be the busiest hour and that holds true to the Weekday show. Today Melissa continued from Coolsculpting. Lori was checking out the progress of a local Vet getting a home makeover from Home Depot. Tina had Check this out moment with Mark who modeled a new underwear from Under Armour. Mark, Marianne, and Ken talked to Endless Love star ALEX PETTYFER. Mark also checked in with Todd and Nina from NOW 100.5. Teens Tunes was played and the #9amtopic was introduced. Courtney talked about how you can save energy by getting a Library card.
9am:
Mark, Julissa and Laura guided us through the hour that provided us with GREAT DIY Tips from Gina and ThriftTown for Valentines Gift making. Melissa was checking out a guitar shop that makes guitar rift doorbells. Lori reported on the progress of the Vet Home makeover. Tina was checking out what is on the Menu for Valentines Day at Cafeteria 15L. Ken's Manly Minute was how to avoid Valentine Day blues and prior to Tina's final questions, Mark took his pants off.
Final Thoughts:
As I said tomorrow is valentines day and as I stated earlier this week it's hard for me to get into after a bad situation that occurred in my life on the day. I always think about what I could do different but I know the people close to me are not into it as well so it's hard for me to do anything. Don't get me wrong I love seeing love young old and in between. But over the years I've learned you don't need a special day to tell the one you love just how much because you should already tell them daily. It doesn't have to be verbal all the time because actions speak louder than words. If you love someone take them to a nice dinner, a movie of their choice, give money so they can go get a new outfit to wear whether it be for work or play. I love giving roses but I hate that they cost so much money only to die in a few days so for me as we learned today from Julissa they cost $105 and up then in a few days they go in the trash meaning so does that money you spent. 1 rose is nice but put a card with it and put that $100 in and make it last longer. If she's been wanting work done around the house you can always do that together and make it fun, if she chooses shopping go with her because then she can ask you if that new outfit looks good on her and who knows lingerie shopping could always be in the works. Maybe she has a party coming up you'll be going to or she's wants new art supplies for an art project just know what she likes and dislikes and then use your imagination. Ladies agree or disagree? Just some thoughts from me on how to show ways to love that special person in your life.
Today both shows delivered. I felt like Fox really stepped up from a somewhat disappointing day yesterday. Today they had a lot of coverage but it was Good Day who won the day with everything they do and the laughter keeping me going.
I do have one concern for my friends at Good Day Sacramento today. It appears illness has entered the building once again. This time hitting Courtney and again Cody. I wish I could help Cody get over all the sickness that he has had of late. Take care of yourself.
Tomorrow is Valentines Day and both stations will be covering all angles of it. Good Day has a lot planned for the day as you can see in....
