Opening Statement:
Today is the 10th Anniversary of Facebook, 10 years is a long time, 10 years ago I was barely learning how to text and Flash forward 10 years later and twitter and Facebook are the wave of the future. Do I think either of these will be around in 10 more years? No, however twitter appears to have the staying power over Facebook. I personally use both because you can't post more than one picture at a time on twitter nor is it always easy to say what you need to say in 140 characters or less. Quick Thought:
As mentioned in the opening Facebook turns 10 today and much of the talk on all 3 shows was how it has changed the world. It has even changed how news is reported but enter Twitter into the mix our would as the older generation has changed as we know it. Though it is still around the Newspaper seems to be one of the odds of losing steam as well as Nightly Newscast i.e. NBC, ABC, CBS taking into account the cable channels that are 24 hour news and with Facebook and Twitter we no longer need to know the news tomorrow when we can have it today.

Today the Olympics start to ramp up and Deidre previewed the Torch and its travels. One note I left out yesterday was she and the crew found a McDonald's where you order from a Kiosk instead of a counter. This was kind of a cool idea. The other thing talked about today was a chance to get a flu shot and meet Guard Isaiah Thomas at Kaiser in Sacramento today.
Fox40:
Fox didn't do it for me today. The show felt very newsy and that is disappointing considering how well they have been doing of late. Today Paul talked his book Did Sid as well as Kings Arena and Facebook turning 10.
Good Day Sacramento:

Today's Show and Tell was a 2 part series from Courtney. Today she told how you can rent a professional gentleman. The Questionoftheday was asked because Camera Guy Dave loves good scents. Pauline was our 5am Club Member of the Day. Marianne had 3 tips to not tell your boss and Mark had News of the Weird. Also this hour Favorite Facebook photos started to be shown for today's Show us yours....
6am:
In this hour Amy was at a local Roseville home checking out Michelle's beautiful jewelry with an Proud American theme collection that is also for sale. Phone # in video is incorrect use number given in this writing. Mark was previewing the Worlds Largest Single event and Courtney had a Weird or Worth it that had Oil Shower Gel (Dark Cherry Flavor) and a Cut the Cheese spray. It's always weird but worth it.
7am:
In this hour Ken talked to Cnet Editor Brian Cooley on how Facebook changed our world. Mark continued looking for love at the Worlds Largest Single Event. Courtney talked to Kevin Meir about his new children's book project. Finally this hour, Get your tissues ready....... Amy previewed what one local woman is getting in a well deserved Makeover after losing her hair from Melanoma. This is such a beautiful story and a for sure tug at the heart strings.
8am:
The GREAT 8 lived up to it's name with Jenn Brian coming into the mix to talk about the event this Friday, Love Lost and Found event with Mark S. Allen. Teens tunes was played today and this month The Grub Run is back and this month it is KFC looking to come to your business with Tina for lunch. Courtney previewed a Nut oil company in Woodland , while Cambi was racing cars in Modesto. (More on this in the 9am hour) Finally the #9amtopic was revealed.
9am:
Though the makeover reveal was set for the 8am hour a signal issue pushed it back to the 9am hour and it was well worth the wait. Jennifer's makeover was so beautiful and heartwarming. Courtney continued to talk oils and how they are made. Mark was still looking for love and Love Lost and Found Preview event with Jenn B aka The Queen of Dating. Laura and Julissa guided us through the hour and today's #9amtopic while Tina talked to author/Relationship advice columnist Joey Garcia about how to get through breakups and divorce. Ken's Manly Minute was how to communicate with your son and it was one of the BEST topics I've seen even though I don't have children I once was. Cambi continued from Motown Raceway for the Good Day Sacramento Race Challenge... LAURA was the WINNER!!!!
Final Thoughts:
Reviewing Fox40 and My58 today I realized I was extremely bored and disappointed. Lets hope they fix that over the next few days to finish the week strong.
Good Day Sacramento was all in on Facebook Celebration with the Show us your favorite pictures as well as today's #9amtopic but they kept it fresh and new each hour.
I LOVE when Jenn B aka Queen of Dating is on. I love what she represents and how helpful she is for those looking for love. It was a perfect team of her and Mark today.
The slot car racing was fun but my driver of choice (Ken) finished with a 3rd place finish but led laps to gain race points (NASCAR Reference). But the story of the day today was with Amy and Jennifer in Cameron Park with GREAT People coming together to do GREAT things so she and her husband can go out on the town and she can look as beautiful as ever with her new makeover and hair. This story warmed my heart and got me thinking about this...
My friends and family are all wonderful people. I love all of them and know that each of them will be there for me in time of need. I cannot thank all of friends who are also a part of my family and family for all they do. I appreciate all of you from the bottom of my heart.

Quick Thought:
As mentioned in the opening Facebook turns 10 today and much of the talk on all 3 shows was how it has changed the world. It has even changed how news is reported but enter Twitter into the mix our would as the older generation has changed as we know it. Though it is still around the Newspaper seems to be one of the odds of losing steam as well as Nightly Newscast i.e. NBC, ABC, CBS taking into account the cable channels that are 24 hour news and with Facebook and Twitter we no longer need to know the news tomorrow when we can have it today.

Today the Olympics start to ramp up and Deidre previewed the Torch and its travels. One note I left out yesterday was she and the crew found a McDonald's where you order from a Kiosk instead of a counter. This was kind of a cool idea. The other thing talked about today was a chance to get a flu shot and meet Guard Isaiah Thomas at Kaiser in Sacramento today.
Fox40:
Fox didn't do it for me today. The show felt very newsy and that is disappointing considering how well they have been doing of late. Today Paul talked his book Did Sid as well as Kings Arena and Facebook turning 10.

Today's Show and Tell was a 2 part series from Courtney. Today she told how you can rent a professional gentleman. The Questionoftheday was asked because Camera Guy Dave loves good scents. Pauline was our 5am Club Member of the Day. Marianne had 3 tips to not tell your boss and Mark had News of the Weird. Also this hour Favorite Facebook photos started to be shown for today's Show us yours....
6am:
In this hour Amy was at a local Roseville home checking out Michelle's beautiful jewelry with an Proud American theme collection that is also for sale. Phone # in video is incorrect use number given in this writing. Mark was previewing the Worlds Largest Single event and Courtney had a Weird or Worth it that had Oil Shower Gel (Dark Cherry Flavor) and a Cut the Cheese spray. It's always weird but worth it.
7am:
In this hour Ken talked to Cnet Editor Brian Cooley on how Facebook changed our world. Mark continued looking for love at the Worlds Largest Single Event. Courtney talked to Kevin Meir about his new children's book project. Finally this hour, Get your tissues ready....... Amy previewed what one local woman is getting in a well deserved Makeover after losing her hair from Melanoma. This is such a beautiful story and a for sure tug at the heart strings.
8am:
The GREAT 8 lived up to it's name with Jenn Brian coming into the mix to talk about the event this Friday, Love Lost and Found event with Mark S. Allen. Teens tunes was played today and this month The Grub Run is back and this month it is KFC looking to come to your business with Tina for lunch. Courtney previewed a Nut oil company in Woodland , while Cambi was racing cars in Modesto. (More on this in the 9am hour) Finally the #9amtopic was revealed.
9am:
Though the makeover reveal was set for the 8am hour a signal issue pushed it back to the 9am hour and it was well worth the wait. Jennifer's makeover was so beautiful and heartwarming. Courtney continued to talk oils and how they are made. Mark was still looking for love and Love Lost and Found Preview event with Jenn B aka The Queen of Dating. Laura and Julissa guided us through the hour and today's #9amtopic while Tina talked to author/Relationship advice columnist Joey Garcia about how to get through breakups and divorce. Ken's Manly Minute was how to communicate with your son and it was one of the BEST topics I've seen even though I don't have children I once was. Cambi continued from Motown Raceway for the Good Day Sacramento Race Challenge... LAURA was the WINNER!!!!
Final Thoughts:
Reviewing Fox40 and My58 today I realized I was extremely bored and disappointed. Lets hope they fix that over the next few days to finish the week strong.
Good Day Sacramento was all in on Facebook Celebration with the Show us your favorite pictures as well as today's #9amtopic but they kept it fresh and new each hour.
I LOVE when Jenn B aka Queen of Dating is on. I love what she represents and how helpful she is for those looking for love. It was a perfect team of her and Mark today.
The slot car racing was fun but my driver of choice (Ken) finished with a 3rd place finish but led laps to gain race points (NASCAR Reference). But the story of the day today was with Amy and Jennifer in Cameron Park with GREAT People coming together to do GREAT things so she and her husband can go out on the town and she can look as beautiful as ever with her new makeover and hair. This story warmed my heart and got me thinking about this...
My friends and family are all wonderful people. I love all of them and know that each of them will be there for me in time of need. I cannot thank all of friends who are also a part of my family and family for all they do. I appreciate all of you from the bottom of my heart.
