Quick Thought:
I need to be honest with all of you about something. I love Good Day Sacramento, and will never speak badly of it but sometimes the shows are not always equal. Yesterday for example was one of them. I enjoyed it but it was not like its normal format. With that said Today's show was back on track. Today was a 5.5 hours of fun filled information entertaining show. Today was much more like normal. I get that news happens but it not like we haven't had rain already to devote most of the show to a storm that was pretty much over for the day. But like I said today was far better and I really enjoyed it. For a complete recap on the show today...

430/5am:
The show was back to normal today, yes the rain is coming but the normal format was in full effect. Cody made a weather rap with a new app. Marianne had the Daily List for a healthy heart, Julissa prepared to become a mermaid for a day, Tina had question of the day and Courtney presented the 5am Club Member. Blended family photos shown as part of Show us yours...

6am:
In this hour Julissa continued her transformation into a Mermaid. Melissa talked about how to find leaks in your pond so that you are not wasting water and Mark was checking out a brewery with a special beer in Santa Rosa. The Russian River Brewery has people lined up for blocks for a chance to taste it. 

7am:
In this hour Mark continued from Russian River Brewery as people line up for a once a year beer. Ken talked to Rachel the Mermaid from Dive Bar while Julissa was in the tank. Julissa looked so beautiful as a mermaid. Doug The Car Czar checked in from the Chicago Car Show. Ken and Courtney talked with one author about her new book about blended families called Swirling. Marianne talked to a couple of Beatles collector as their 50th Anniversary airs this Sunday on CBS13 from the first time the band performed on the Ed Sullivan Show. 

8am:
In this GREAT 8 Cody was on ice and looked just like Carrot Top on Skates checking out the Disney on Ice show in Stockton. Mark continued finding out why Pliney is such a special beer. Marianne and Ken talked to Queen Latifah about a varity of topics including her talk show. Melissa learned how to drum in about 15 minutes from one local drummer offering drum lessons. Courtney was checking out the the Animalless Circus,Circus Oz in Davis. Tina was learning fun ideas for parents to fix their kids from Food Blogger Mindy Cone. Lori was checking out one unique Estate Sale Cowboy Action Shooter. This was of a woman who will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery for her role in history. The #9amtopic was introduced.... What would you like to be for a day.

9am:
The 9am hour guided by our regulars Julissa and Laura took us through the #9amtopic, Courtney continued from Circus Oz in Davis while Cody skated with Disney on Ice in Stockton. Melissa showed us what she learned in her drum lesson and Tina along with Mindy Cone gave some GREAT ideas for kids to do. Mark continued in Santa Rosa for the release of Pliny the Younger Beer as well as talking to Joel Hodgson of Mystery Science Theater performing Saturday in Roseville. Ken had a unique look into Malcolm X in celebration of Black History Month for today's Manly Minute. The final question of the day was What do you want for Valentines Day and finally it was Dance Party Friday. Today 2 songs were played. 

Final Thoughts:
The Weekend is almost here but we can't get there without a couple of last minute business items to take care of. The Rain is HERE! As predicted by Cody it would hit our area at or around 10am. It did, so lets all be safe out there this weekend driving in it. 

Today we learned that many of us come from or are currently in a blended family. I have no problem with that. I have a beautiful sister in law and niece who are blended. Well my niece is both but she looks more like her Filipina mom, My Best friends are of many ethnicity so my family is full of diversity. We also learned no matter what you can learn new things, weather that be Arts in drawing, or painting, Arts in theater, or like Melissa art in drumming and Cody on skates. Don't give up your dreams and dream big, because when you secret something it will come true.  

We had our fun all week but now it is time to turn the Fun Bus over to Cody, Amy and the entire weekend crew now that we have officially danced into the weekend.
