Opening Statement:
We made it through another week, according to Cody more rain could hit Saturday night into Sunday but the storm will not be anything compared to last week. With that said I will leave the weather up to Cody.
Today I want to talk about the show yesterday and fun with Jason. Many thought he was being picked on and Good Day was being mean to him and his date. But let me try and pull the curtain back a little. Based on what I have learned over the years the show and everyone on it is very close. What you/we see is for our entertainment. These people care about each other like you and I care about our families and friends. What took place with his date had to be cleared and planned. I am confident that Rochelle was completely in on all of what went down. Anyone who enters the show should know what takes place, that is what makes Good Day so fun and GREAT to watch.

It’s time for 20th annual “Fill the Boot for Burns” drive for the Firefighters Burn Institute. The “media challenge” pits local media personalities against each other. Each media celebrity is paired with a firefighter who will work the streets on behalf of the celeb (state and local laws do not allow anyone to be in the street during the boot drive other than sworn firefighters). Today our very own Tina Macuha is participating in the challenge. Good Day has won the last 2 years, so lets see if Tina will once again help us be crowned a winner!

Stories like the one local family giving back to their wife and mom as she battles breast cancer by giving her a massage, Tina filling the boot for burn victims, and story's like Holly Erickson losing her hair from cancer so her awesome daughter Anamarie shaving her head so her mom doesn't go at it alone.

What a fun hour this was today. Today's Show us yours was what you got for Valentines Day, #JustCurious was favorite Girl Scout Cookie. Michael Marks was in studio talking all things citrus fruit with Amy. Cody and Amy talked to Donnie DFind about his Super Hero Workouts via Skype. Melissa revealed she bought 21 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies because Lori was at the Cookie pick up for Girl Scout Cookies. Cambi was traveling around giving do overs from Valentines Day with FREE Massages from Soul Kneads Bodywork. Tina was learning to cook with Almonds from East Bay Restaurant Supply and after a LONG lay off 2 Minutes of Mayhem was back and Melissa brought the house down... Okay it was the end of the 7am hour.
8am:
The GREAT 8 and yes it was. Tina finished up cooking with Almonds, Lori was hanging out with birthday girl Ruth Seely who turns 100 but looks like she could pass for 75. Cambi continued to give Free Massages. Michael was back talking Grapefruit. Amy talked to creator of Hot Flash Wines and yes men can drink it to. But what won this hour? Laura Freeman from Chill Kicks Shoes. She created designs on these Pumped up Kicks that includes Doctor Who Shoes for both adults and kids. The Kids shoes represent the Tardis. I want these. Adult shoes are $150, Kids are $60. Cody however has a pair and will NEVER EVER take them off.
9am:
In this hour Lori was in Elk Grove checking out the NEW The Italian Delicatessen and Fine Foods. Cambi continued her free massages. Cody had a couple of segments in this hour that included the newest creation from Les Cookson with his Camera Obscura. He also surprised a local mom and daughter with manicures. This is a GREAT story. Holly the mom lost her hair from cancer and her amazing daughter, Anamarie Erickson shaved her head to go along with her awesome mom, Holly has quite the fan club and though I don't know her she is an amazing person. In this final hour of the day Tina was checking out how to eat healthy at the Midtown Farmers Market, Lori was hanging out at Kinder Music in Elk Grove, Cambi finished up he Massages with a GREAT story of a woman battling Breast Cancer and her tremendous family support. Lori was checking out the KinderMusik 1 year Anniversary.Melissa had a repeat 2 Minutes of Mayhem and Hot Headlines. Amy and Cody talked to Ezra Croft who is throwing a Nic Cage Party in April. Amy talked to one local woman who has stamping parties. Tina raised $1500 in 30 minutes and won the Media Fill the Boot Challenge.
Final Thoughts:
For the first time ever I put today's title out for a vote. Choices included:
1. Pumped up Kicks (Cody gets Doctor Who Shoes).
2. Filled the Boot (Tina filled the Boot for the Burn Institute)
3. Valentine Redo's (Cambi gives Free Massages)
4. Cookie Monster Melissa (Melissa buys 21 boxes of cookies.
And by a 2-1 margin Cookie Monster Melissa won.
Yes that is correct our friend Melissa is the Cookie Monster buying 21 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies. Who doesn't love Melissa? I sure do... Sharing is caring or just sell them on the secondary market when others are craving and no longer have.

Cody had a couple of segments in this hour that included the newest creation from Les Cookson with his Camera Obscura. He also surprised a local mom and daughter with manicures. This is a GREAT story. Holly the mom lost her hair from cancer and her amazing daughter, Anamarie Erickson shaved her head to go along with her awesome mom, Holly has quite the fan club and though I don't know her she is an amazing person. In this final hour of the day Tina was checking out how to eat healthy at the Midtown Farmers Market, Lori was hanging out at Kinder Music in Elk Grove, Cambi finished up he Massages with a GREAT story of a woman battling Breast Cancer and her tremendous family support. Lori was checking out the KinderMusik 1 year Anniversary.Melissa had a repeat 2 Minutes of Mayhem and Hot Headlines. Amy and Cody talked to Ezra Croft who is throwing a Nic Cage Party in April. Amy talked to one local woman who has stamping parties. Tina raised $1500 in 30 minutes and won the Media Fill the Boot Challenge.
Final Thoughts:
For the first time ever I put today's title out for a vote. Choices included:

Yes that is correct our friend Melissa is the Cookie Monster buying 21 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies. Who doesn't love Melissa? I sure do... Sharing is caring or just sell them on the secondary market when others are craving and no longer have.
