In the final hour of the show today Courtney was checking out a Bizarre Bizarre for Cancer Society. Kristin continued with Sac City Fire as they use a drone to help them in training. Cody took the Loaded Doritos / Slurpee challenge at 7-11. Ken and Laura guided us through the #9amtopic and Melissa tried some HOT food at the fair.

Favorite Story of the Day: Jason Saves Ken:
As you know the request from Ken to find Mini Ken in the Claw Machine went out Wednesday. After several searches it was found at Denny's in Rocklin so Jason "Toots" Maloney headed out that way in the 6am hour with $20 in quarters.
No way I thought $20 was enough. I've played the Claw several times to only be unsuccessful. However in a dramatic TV moment Jason's first attempt was a fail so he put his $0.50 in to try again and this time it was a complete success. Mini Ken was FREE!!!
So now Good Day is faced with a lot of time and $19 so hunting the machine it was discovered Rocky looked like Javier. However this time Gloria stepped in to take on Jason in the Battle of the Claw. Gloria won the round getting Javier aka Rocky. So searching continued for more toys. Courtney saw a brown M&M that could look like her so she put in her request to get it.
Round 3 Jason and Gloria battled. Had Gloria won she wanted Javier / Rocky. Had Jason won he keeps Javier / Rocky. Jason not only got the brown M&M but he also got a green one and a Big Bird all at one time. Winning the Rocky toy.
Jason returned to the studio with Mini Javier and Mini Ken in hand but no Mini Courtney. He left the 3 with Gloria for being such a GREAT Competitor.
However Jason is King of The Claw and that makes this My Favorite Story of the Day.
Melissa at the Fair:
The California State Fair is NOW Open. Melissa was there all morning giving us the amazing Sunrise, talking about Sweet Candy Exhibit and trying some "HOT" Fair Food including Watermelon and Ghost Pepper fries.
But it was the time Melissa spent with Splash Dog that won the Fair live shots for me. Melissa even jumped with the dogs and the 3 judges Courtney, Laura and Ken scored her jump 9 - 9 - 8. Had I had a vote I would've have given her a 10 because it was GREAT Good Day Entertainment plus I learned the Zip Line was not at the Fair this year so today might be the only day we see Melissa fly through the air.
Happy Birthday 7-11:
Today from 11am-7pm 7-11 is celebrating it's birthday. They are celebrating by giving 1 FREE Small Slurpee to anyone. Cody was there to check it out and loved the Sugar Free drink they now have. Cody also took on a competitor by eating the Loaded Doritos and a Slurpee at the same time. If you download the 7-11 app you can get more FREE Stuff.
Eric Moore:
In my lifetime I have seen and heard some amazing drummers. From Peter Criss, Mick Fleetwood, Neil Peart from Rush, Eric Carr of Kiss, Tommy Lee, Dave Grohl, John and Jason Bonham and now add Eric Moore. He may not be on the same level as these other greats but he was and is pretty amazing. He is one of the fastest drummers in the world and has performed with Bell Biv Devoe as well. Today he performed on the Good Day Stage and took us into the weekend for Dance Party.

In today's edition of Court's Tunes less face it, it was all Laura. Javier from SAP got one, Ken got 2 and Laura got the rest. She was dominate today in this edition of this fun game.

Last week Sac City and Sac Metro Fire battled a large fire that threatened Cal Expo. Today they shared how they will be using a Drone to help in Fire Fights and training.

It's never to early to conserve water in the drought we have so Byers Rain Gutters gave Tina tips how to conserve water by using Rain Barrels.
Chasing Neon:
Poteet Photography was back on the show today after we met her a couple of weeks ago when she first told us of her Retro Neon Signs Project. Today she was in the Good Day Backyard talking with Cody about the project. You can help fund the project by going to her Etsy or Kickstarter page either by donating for Gas or sharing. I like this project and I hope it goes well for her.

Now that we have danced into the weekend we turn the controls over to Cody and Amy for the weekend. I can 90% guarantee that Nina will not be on the show this Sunday so we can look for Heather. In the final hour of the show today Courtney was checking out a Bizarre Bizarre for Cancer Society. Kristin continued with Sac City Fire as they use a drone to help them in training. Drummer Eric Moore taught Ken a quick lesson in drums and then played the show out for Dance Party. Tina was with Byers Rain Gutters talking Rain Barrels. Cody took the Loaded Doritos / Slurpee challenge at 7-11. Ken and Laura guided us through the #9amtopic and Melissa tried some HOT food at the fair.

Favorite Story of the Day: Jason Saves Ken:
As you know the request from Ken to find Mini Ken in the Claw Machine went out Wednesday. After several searches it was found at Denny's in Rocklin so Jason "Toots" Maloney headed out that way in the 6am hour with $20 in quarters.
No way I thought $20 was enough. I've played the Claw several times to only be unsuccessful. However in a dramatic TV moment Jason's first attempt was a fail so he put his $0.50 in to try again and this time it was a complete success. Mini Ken was FREE!!!
So now Good Day is faced with a lot of time and $19 so hunting the machine it was discovered Rocky looked like Javier. However this time Gloria stepped in to take on Jason in the Battle of the Claw. Gloria won the round getting Javier aka Rocky. So searching continued for more toys. Courtney saw a brown M&M that could look like her so she put in her request to get it.
Round 3 Jason and Gloria battled. Had Gloria won she wanted Javier / Rocky. Had Jason won he keeps Javier / Rocky. Jason not only got the brown M&M but he also got a green one and a Big Bird all at one time. Winning the Rocky toy.
Jason returned to the studio with Mini Javier and Mini Ken in hand but no Mini Courtney. He left the 3 with Gloria for being such a GREAT Competitor.
However Jason is King of The Claw and that makes this My Favorite Story of the Day.
Melissa at the Fair:
The California State Fair is NOW Open. Melissa was there all morning giving us the amazing Sunrise, talking about Sweet Candy Exhibit and trying some "HOT" Fair Food including Watermelon and Ghost Pepper fries.
But it was the time Melissa spent with Splash Dog that won the Fair live shots for me. Melissa even jumped with the dogs and the 3 judges Courtney, Laura and Ken scored her jump 9 - 9 - 8. Had I had a vote I would've have given her a 10 because it was GREAT Good Day Entertainment plus I learned the Zip Line was not at the Fair this year so today might be the only day we see Melissa fly through the air.
Happy Birthday 7-11:
Today from 11am-7pm 7-11 is celebrating it's birthday. They are celebrating by giving 1 FREE Small Slurpee to anyone. Cody was there to check it out and loved the Sugar Free drink they now have. Cody also took on a competitor by eating the Loaded Doritos and a Slurpee at the same time. If you download the 7-11 app you can get more FREE Stuff.
Eric Moore:
In my lifetime I have seen and heard some amazing drummers. From Peter Criss, Mick Fleetwood, Neil Peart from Rush, Eric Carr of Kiss, Tommy Lee, Dave Grohl, John and Jason Bonham and now add Eric Moore. He may not be on the same level as these other greats but he was and is pretty amazing. He is one of the fastest drummers in the world and has performed with Bell Biv Devoe as well. Today he performed on the Good Day Stage and took us into the weekend for Dance Party.
Court's Tunes:
In today's edition of Court's Tunes less face it, it was all Laura. Javier from SAP got one, Ken got 2 and Laura got the rest. She was dominate today in this edition of this fun game.

Last week Sac City and Sac Metro Fire battled a large fire that threatened Cal Expo. Today they shared how they will be using a Drone to help in Fire Fights and training.
Rain Barrel:
It's never to early to conserve water in the drought we have so Byers Rain Gutters gave Tina tips how to conserve water by using Rain Barrels.
Chasing Neon:
Poteet Photography was back on the show today after we met her a couple of weeks ago when she first told us of her Retro Neon Signs Project. Today she was in the Good Day Backyard talking with Cody about the project. You can help fund the project by going to her Etsy or Kickstarter page either by donating for Gas or sharing. I like this project and I hope it goes well for her.
Tomorrow:
Now that we have danced into the weekend we turn the controls over to Cody and Amy for the weekend. I can 90% guarantee that Nina will not be on the show this Sunday so we can look for Heather. I am 98% sure the fair will be covered one if not both days. and of course I am 100% sure of Dishin With Tina, Ask Eleanor and 2 days of GREAT weekend fun with Cody, Amy and crew.
