Today's Good Day Sacramento could have several Favorite Stories of the Day.

It was so food heavy in the 8 and 9am hours it felt like I was watching The Food Network.

In the 7am hour Togo's is giving away a free sandwich on Thursday but you need to download the coupon today. The 8am and 9am had Free Yogurt from Yogurtland, a new pizza place at the convention center in Sacramento, a movie theater in Riverbank that serves gourmet food, wine and beer in recliner chairs that has pretzels the size of your head.

But today's Favorite story of the day is none of those. No today if you scream I scream chances are we are all screaming for ice cream.

Leading off Coolhaus Ice Cream has teamed with California Milk to make Ice Cream sandwiches and they wrote a recipe book to show you how to do it.

Then from now until 3pm Salvation Army with Moose Tracks Ice Cream are scooping 10,000 scopes of ice cream in Sacramento at Cesar Chavez Park until 3pm today. For every scoop Moose Tracks will donate $1 to Salvation Army up to $10.000 until 3pm. In fact at 1pm today Tina and Marianne will join in the scoop.

So with all this ice cream today, Tina and Marianne along with Moose Tracks donating to Salvation Army this makes this story my Favorite Story of the day and it is at no cost to you other than to stand in a line of 10,000 people waiting for your turn for FREE Ice Cream.

Amy has her Wedding coming up but today's theme on Good Day was Weddings so she teamed up with Fearon May Events, Engaged Now What and Stems Florists to see High End Floral Bouquets.

Yogurt:
FREE Yogurt! Yogurtland is opening one of it's 300th store in Fair Oaks today and to celebrate EVERY Location is giving 3 FREE Ounces to it's customers. Amy was at the location and Yogurtland was also in studio.

A Moment in Poetry with the Poetry Guy was read with Mark S. Allen today reading from the work of Jason Derulo.

Henry:
As I've reported since last week Melissa's Meet Henry The Bear Report would air today after it was postponed last Thursday. Today it did air and if you want to meet Henry go to the Folsom Zoo between 9am-3pm.
