Today in the News SPECIAL BREAKING REPORT 7/6/2013:

Today in the News SPECIAL BREAKING REPORT 7/6/2013: Sometimes in life and in news you can never predict the outcome of your day. In news it could be a slow news day or a day where everyone needs to step back and realize when a horrific event like the one that occurred today in San Francisco where an Asiana Airlines Boeing 777 Flight 214 originating from Seoul South Korea crashed on approached to its landing at SFO on impact of touching the ground killing 2 and injuring many others. It's upon hearing of this news where nothing else seems to matter other than turning your attention to all those involved. From the family & friends of the 2 deceased we reach out to them for hugs filled with love consoling them as best as we can. For those injured we reach out to them to lend them a hand in a speedy recovery and to let them know everything will be okay. Often in times like this we the people want to step in and help the victims but are never sure how or what, the best way is to dona...

Today in the News 7/2/2013:

Third Album: The Return (Photo credit: Wikipedia) Today in the News 7/2/2013: Today marks another hot day for us here in Northern California and I know the media will be picking up the story from yesterday about that. The other for sure hot topic will once again be the traffic nightmare from the BART strike. One thing I don't believe will be covered today is the sweeping changes at local CBSSports 1140 and their new line up for Monday July 8. 5:30-9am Carmichael Dave returns, 9-12pm Jim Rome, 12-3pm Don Geronimo & 3-7pm Grant Napier. However could a simple tweet mean the return to TV mornings for Don Geronimo? He spent a few months with Good Day Sacramento a couple of years ago so stay posted here for more as it develops. What else will the news cover today....? To kind of update folks about where they are and what they are up to now. I am seeking some of you out of the Sacramento market that do not have social media accounts. I would like to know where you are now, how long have you been there? What do you miss about Sacramento? Any fun memories of your time here? Any photos you can share from your time in Sacramento? Misc. Comments (If any): So if you are from or once with CW31/CBS13, Fox40, KCRA3/MY58, News10... I Hope to find you Matt D
