Gone Girl Squeaks out Win / @Markatthemovies Episode 262 Highlights: Week of 10/4/2016 - 10/5/2014 Box Office Report: WOAH!!! We have almost a tie at the top spot at the Box Office. With the official numbers not released until Monday Gone Girl squeaks out a win over Annabelle. This is the closest I've seen 2 movies finish 1-2 since the start of my recap of Mark at the Movies and the Box Office Winners. As I said these numbers are not official until Monday but taking the top spot was Gone Girl with an estimated $38,000,000 followed by Annabelle with $37,200,000 coming in at number 2. Falling 2 spots to #3 The Equalizer with $19,000,000. Coming in at the 4th spot was Box Trolls at $12,425,000 and continuing their fall to the 5th spot The Maze Runner with $12,000,000. Denzel and The Equalizer Takes Top Spot / @Markatthemovies Episode 261 Highlights:     Week of 9/27/2014 - 9/28/2014 Box Office Report: The Box Office Numbers are in and this week  The Equalizer will take the top spot with an estimated $35,000,000. Falling 1 spot to #2 was The Maze Runner with $17,500,000. Coming in a nice 3rd place finish Elle Fanning and Ben Kingsley in The Boxtrolls $17,250,000. Falling to fourth and continuing to disappoint This is Where I Leave You with $7,010,000 and staying in the 5th spot Dolphin Tale $4,835,000.  I am not surprised at all with The Equalizer taking the top spot.
