Final Thoughts:
The Box Office numbers are in for this 4th of July Holiday Weekend. Most of the new movies started on Wednesday so they had 5 days to compete with the already established movies. This week Transformers held on to the top spot with an estimated $36,400,000. Tammy did finish better than some of the "Experts predicted at #2 with $21,170,000. The 3rd spot went to Deliver Us From Evil with $9,500,000 22 Jump Street fell to the 4th spot, followed by How To Train Your Dragon rounding out the top 5.
Moviegoers seem to have agreed with Mike Mechanick this week with Echo To Earth having a disappointing 6th place finish.
This week on Mark at the Movies as Rachel continues her R and R Nina Hajian better known as the Morning host of the Todd and Nina Show on Now 100.5 FM stepped in to take over for Rachel. This Mariah Carey lookalike did a nice job stepping in to fill the seat normally held by Rachel. Rachel did make an appearance via Skype to talk about Tammy and her sit down interviews with Melissa McCarthy, Susan Sarandon and Kathy Bates.
Mark at the Movies also talked about the movie honoring the late Roger Ebert. Not an easy man to interview Mark gave it his best shot earlier before Roger passed away and Mark also showed an old clip of Siskel and Ebert shooting a promo that didn't go so well.
Heather's Daughter Eva made her Mark at the Movies Debut as she sat down with the stars of Echo To Earth.
The final movie talked about this week was Deliver Us From Evil. Anna sat down with Olivia Munn and the 2 shared a special connection with strange activity.
In a rare surprise to this Highlight here is the complete episode of Episode 249 as seen this week.
