Opening Statement:
Yesterday on Good Day Mark S. Allen was at Comic-Con and during one of his segments in the 9am hour he came across the original Darth Vader Suit from Star Wars New Hope. 



Mark was like a kid in a candy store for the first time. His face said it all about the joy and excitement seeing this one of a kind masterpiece. Mark will be joining Good Day live again today unless they can't get the feed to come through but I was thinking how cool it must have been to see something like this when for years upon years y admired it. 



I can't wait to see what Mark brings to us today so with that said lets see what is taking place Today in the News....

Favorite Story of the Day: Workout Moms
If you need some inspiration on this day then this is the story for you. 2 moms teamed up to bring Boot Camps for moms Chady and Ashley to bring Forever Fit Moms. Chady was over 200 pounds at one point and looks amazing and Ashley a body builder had C sections and is now 3 month pregnant looks amazing.



These 2 beautiful ladies will inspire you and share real stories making this story my favorite story of the day.



Michael Yo:
Comedian / Actor Micheal Yo is crazy and that made the 10am hour hilarious. Michael first sat in with Cody and Amy then moved to the anchor chair while Cody was getting his Mankini. Michael then joined Melissa for a Special Edition of Hot Headlines keeping the laughter coming. If you are able to see Michael in one of his 2 shows tonight at Punchline you will have the time of your life. Two show 8 and 10pm tonight only. 



T-Shirt:
Brad Pitt started it by taking one of his children's artwork and made it a T-shirt. Today on Good Day Lori was at Danoc Manufacturing getting one of her kids artwork made into a T-Shirt. 



Garage Sale:
Cambi was at a Garage Sale with a Cause where the proceeds benefit American Cancer Society through Team in Training.



Midnight Mass:
Heather was in Woodland for Midnight Mass. No this is not Church but it could be a message sent from Heaven with these cool classic cars and Pinup Girls. This is taking place today until Midnight - Hence Midnight Mass.



Fresh Juice:
Lori was at a new Fresh Juice spot in South Sacramento called Nuoc Mia Ninh Kieu the last part is a city in Vietnam. I don't know how to pronounce any of it. But i you are into Fresh Juice and other vietnamese food this a must try. 



Slapping You With Science:
One of my ALL Time Favorite segments on Good Day Weekend is Cody slapping you / us with science. This little feature gives us the science news you can lose and it makes it more fun when Cody Slaps us through the camera. 



Wreck Em:
Here Ducky, Ducky, Ducky. No it was not that kind of Duck Call taking place at the Wreck 'Em Expo in Elk Grove, Cambi was learning from the experts with the Duck Call callers that they use. Who knew not everyone called the same duck?



Globetrotters:
Where's Curly O'Neil? That was the Globetrotters I remember as a kid in the 70's and 80's but today on Good Day Heather was with the new era of the famous Trick Basketball team who are in town giving a basketball camp where they also teach you life lessons. 



Birkenstocks:
The girls from Where and Wear were in studio for a Birkenstocks Fashion show. The shoes appear to be making a comeback. 



Comic-Con:
Mark joined in from Comic-Con on a rare Saturday Appearance talking Walking Dead and other Comic-Con sightings. 



ManKini:
Lulu's Luxe from Woodland was in studio today to torture err give Cody a Mankini. Michael Yo had a ton of fun with that. 



Quickie Wedding:

The Parlor Ice Cream Puffs celebrates their GRAND OPENING today in Sacramento and Heather was there giving their Ice Cream Filled Donut a try. 



916:
Eben Burgoon and Brett Stults of 916 Ink talked to Cody about “916 Ink’s Make Comics”  This is an after-school program which empowers students in the Sacramento region with creative writing. This was so awesome and so amazing. I love this program and hope it really takes off. Plus it was revealed Brett took Morgan to her High School Prom.
