Opening Statement:
I was thinking about the Toyota Concert Series at the Fair this year and I found myself thinking about 1984.
Why 1984? That was the year I went to my very first concert at the fair. At the time not many people heard of former front man turned solo artist John Waite. John was the former lead singer of The Babys but really broke out with his solo single Missing You which came out in 1984.
I was able to see John open the show for a very popular girl group from Seattle named Heart. Heart with John Waite was my very first concert and it was at Cal Expo during the State Fair.
This year at the Fair you can see the likes of Joan Jett, Macy Gary, Hinder, The Spinners, America, Brett Michaels and more. Cambi spent the day at Amy's house with Auburn Amy. Amy had her entire backyard decorated by picking up FREE items off Craigslist and then had Premier Landscape and Auburn Amy put it all together. It took about 5 weeks for the project to come together from picking items up, repainting or surfacing and then today when it came to the BIG reveal.
Cambi was there all morning checking out the progress and also checking out all Amy has too offer at her home.
Because of the process and the coverage of this story this makes this story My Favorite Story of the Day.
Zombies Invade Good Day:
Carnival of the Dead is taking place tonight from 5-9pm and then they are all walking to Crest Theater for the Night of the Living Dead film at 11pm. Today on Good Day Trash Film Orgy Zombies invaded the Good Day Studios to talk about it and perform the Thriller Dance on the Good Day Stage.
Fairs:
Lori was at the San Joaquin County Fair checking out the Castle and putting her face into a Carbonite type display so you can look like Han Solo in Empire Strikes Back.
Tina was at the State Fair checking out Native Ground where youth learn how to put a production together of news, movies and more. This peaked my interest very much. It might be worth the $10 just to check this out.
Plus Tina was with State Fair Winning Chef Laura Kenny talking about different ways to prepare Cottage Cheese from her new book.

Cambi spent the day at Amy's house with Auburn Amy. Amy had her entire backyard decorated by picking up FREE items off Craigslist and then had Premier Landscape and Auburn Amy put it all together. It took about 5 weeks for the project to come together from picking items up, repainting or surfacing and then today when it came to the BIG reveal.
Cambi was there all morning checking out the progress and also checking out all Amy has too offer at her home.
Because of the process and the coverage of this story this makes this story My Favorite Story of the Day.
Zombies Invade Good Day:
Carnival of the Dead is taking place tonight from 5-9pm and then they are all walking to Crest Theater for the Night of the Living Dead film at 11pm. Today on Good Day Trash Film Orgy Zombies invaded the Good Day Studios to talk about it and perform the Thriller Dance on the Good Day Stage.
Fairs:
Lori was at the San Joaquin County Fair checking out the Castle and putting her face into a Carbonite type display so you can look like Han Solo in Empire Strikes Back.
Tina was at the State Fair checking out Native Ground where youth learn how to put a production together of news, movies and more. This peaked my interest very much. It might be worth the $10 just to check this out.
Plus Tina was with State Fair Winning Chef Laura Kenny talking about different ways to prepare Cottage Cheese from her new book.
Who Let The Dogs Out:
Today on the show a local group came in that is for English Bulldogs. Amy's dog ZZ is an English Bulldog so she brought him in to interact with the others. I love 2 Minutes of Mayhem with Melissa. This is the Weekend cousin to Mark's News of the Weird on the weekday show. Melissa does a GREAT job and always delivers the Beast stories with fun.
The Doctors:
Doctors Arron Rollins and Leonardo Rasi from Elite Body Sculpting came into the studio today to show how they do the Brazilian Butt Lift and give guys 6 pack abs. They then answered viewer questions about what they do. One thing they won't talk about is what Stars they have performed procedures on as part of HIPAA and their own policy but they have and do work on many.

2nd Saturday Bike Ride in Stockton is taking place today today and Lori was there getting all the info and how you can join in the fun next time.
Baseball:
Elk Grove Boys 11 Gold Baseball made it to the next step in the State Championship but they need your help getting down to Fresno.
