Today's Preview:
It's Friday and it's Earth Day 2016. On today's Good Day Nha is hanging with Woodcreek High School Cycling team who just finished first in their first 2 races. Love Modesto is Saturday and today we get a preview. The Party Concierge is teaming up to make pink ribbons to line up along Richards Blvd to honor Breast Cancer Survivors. It's Earth Day and today we are going to check out a Giant K-Cup Collection in the Bay Area plus Roqui is taking us on a Bay Area Green Tours preview. Cristela Alonzo is stopping by before her shows at Punchline. Jerry James Stone is back with Not Your Average Pesto, CSU Stanislaus and McDonald's have teamed up for Archery to Opportunity and today we will learn more about it. A Local woman won a One Direction Car and today we will meet her and hear how her story is also inspiring others. Maisha Bahati is back with more Onesie. Plus Marianne has her Daily List. Ken has his Manly Minute and we dance into the weekend as we remember Prince in today's edition of #PrinceTribute #EarthDay #Cycling and More Today in the News
Today's Recap:
Nha was with Woodcreek High School Cycling Team. The coed team with the largest and most successful girls group in the state in cycling is right here in our area.  Nha was with Kailyn Baker the winner of a custom-painted One Direction Honda Civic who is right here in our area. Kailyn Baker says the prize was unexpected and just a small part of a bigger story about her struggle, perseverance, and triumph. She and her mother Sharon have their own catering business as well called The Culinary Goddess.

Roqui was getting a preview of Bay Area Green Tours. The Bay Area is known for its progressive sustainability culture, so for many of the people who live there, it’s earth day every day. Roqui continued the Green Tour at Imperfect Produce in Emeryville. Roqui continued her Green Tour at David Brower Building in Berkeley.

Heather was with Principal Sue McCann from Wilson Elementary School getting preview of Love Modesto taking place this Saturday where Over 70,500 people have been involved in 50 plus cities (starting with Modesto) and volunteering their time to help give back and LOVE their city.  Heather was learning about a Program McDonald's started last year called Archways to Opportunity. It helps provide financial aid for employees looking to complete their college degree or other educational pursuits. Today, we met Ronald, one employee who has done very well with this program and is even close to completing a microbiology degree from CSU Stanislaus


Courtney took a look back at Prince Fashion over the years.

Over 20 businesses up and down Richards Blvd. in Sacramento are honoring breast cancer survivors. Today on Good Day Tina was at The Party Concierge with team as they prepared all of the pink ribbons, bows and signs for the campaign. Tina was with Jerry James Stone, local vegan blogger, who showed how easy it is to make broccoli pesto, avocado pesto, and a carrot green pesto.

Kevin was with Maisha Bahati a local designer who is taking your baby from cute to chic! “That Girl Harlem” fashionable onesies are perfect on this flashback Friday because they’re retro


Marianne talked with John B Rogers from San Francisco Gourmet Coffee about their Greener Coffee K Cup. Marianne and Ken talked with Cristela Alonzo who will be performing at Punchline Tonight & Tomorrow.

Today on Good Day Nha was with Woodcreek High School Cycling Team. The coed team with the largest and most successful girls group in the state in cycling is right here in our area. The Woodcreek High Cycling Team is leading the state in the promotion of the sport among female athletes. In fact, they just finished first place overall in first two races of the season.
