Nha was with Solano County 4-H’ers who make blankets for breastfeeding moms as a community service project. Opening day at the All American Speedway is just around the corner. This will be its 62nd year in operation and they are kicking things off today on Good Day with Nha. Not only will they tell us all about the season’s upcoming schedule, but they’ll *show us too…giving us a small taste of what spectators can expect if they come to the stands

Courtney was checking out some classic April Fool Pranks. Courtney had a Special Check This Out from Cate & Chloe to benefit Generation Rescue a jewelry subscription box with one line created by Jenny McCarthy, whose son is autistic. Courtney was checking out the The American Cancer Society Discovery Shop in Elk Grove who is hosting their tool & garden event with proceeds from the sale of all items go back to the American Cancer Society programs.

Heather was with the Manteca High School Boys Basketball team who won the D-3 State Championship. Heather was with FEMA Urban Search and rescue Task Force as they as they go through an extensive training with their canine partners.

Canine search teams (handler and canine) play a very critical role in helping to find survivors during catastrophes like structural collapse incidents. Canines can detect the live human scent even of those trapped deep in rubble. Today on Good Day Heather was with FEMA Urban Search and rescue Task Force as they as they go through an extensive training with their canine partners.
