#SuicideSquad Breaks August Record at Box Office /  Box Office Report: 8/5/2016 - 8/7/2016




From Pro Box Office: Suicide Squad earned an estimated $65.125 million on opening day Friday, setting a new all-time record for August as it handily surpassed the $37.845 million first day of Guardians of the Galaxy two years ago. Suicide Squad earned an estimated $135,105,000 well in front of every other movie at the Box Office this week to take the #1 Spot. Falling out of the #1 spot from last week to the #2 spot this week is Jason Bourne with an estimated $22,710,000. With the #3 Spot this week Bad Moms with an estimated $14,204,000. Rounding out the Top 5 in the 4th spot The Secret Life of Pets with an estimated $11,560,000 and in the 5th spot this week will be Star Trek Beyond with an estimated $10,200,000.
