Heather was at The Antique Warehouse in Salida who has recently moved into their new location, larger space for their vendors and customers to shop. A few months ago Heather got to participate in the grand opening of Stockton’s first Rita's Italian Ice, get this, the new location beat the previous Rita’s opening day and opening week records by more than double!! Rita's is celebrating the success so today on Good Day Heather was there to congratulate them and try out some of their newest flavors. Heather was at the 5th Annual StocktonCon taking place today at Stockton Arena With the voice of Ash Ketchum Veronica Taylor.
Dave was getting you ready for Summerslam on the streets of Sacramento dressed as a Wrestler. Dave was at Carmichael Park Farmers Market where Farmers competed with each other for the best tomato. Dave was A&S Motorcycles in Roseville who hosted a test ride event, and provided enthusiasts a chance to experience the new X-Diaval and offer an incredible introduction to the new “X” side of Ducati. Dave was with SAL Warriors who held a Back-2-School Supply Drive for Loaves & Fishes Mustard Seed School Program.
Cambi was with The Release Candidate which one group who has shown amazing weight loss. Now it's time for Battle of the Trainers which is a transformation-based competition where teams of 8-10 people will step on stage to showcase all their hard work and results taking place August 28th at 5pm at Crest Theater. Cambi was with Tony an expert from Western Exterminator Company who gave some helpful tips that will help you out. Cody and Cambi got a boxing lesson from Boxer Blake McKernan who was raised in Orangevale. Cambi had today's Hot Headlines.
Cody and Cambi talked with current and former Jungle Cruise Skippers who have their own Stand-up Comedy show. Cody Slapped You With Science. As college students are heading off to campus this month, today on Good Day Cody was with Tom a local car care experts with Mr. Transmission in Roseville who are offering tips and suggestions for them to keep their cars running smoothly. Many college students are relatively new car owners who often leave maintenance to their parents. Now that these students are heading off on their own, Mr. Transmission is providing advice on developing routine maintenance schedules and easy and inexpensive do-it-yourself tricks all students should know! Today on Good Day Cody and Cambi got a boxing lesson from Boxer Blake McKernan who was raised in Orangevale, Army vet. (Iraq war) Blake “THE BEAST” McKernan has been boxing since the age of 10! Blake was named “The Beast” because of his training style. He is a full-time father who still works full time and trains at night until 1am. Blake is a Cruiser Weight Boxer with a 3-0 record and 2 knockouts. Blake has fought under Golden Boy Promotions and is now signed to a 3 fight deal with Top Rank Boxing. He has an upcoming fight in Nevada that will air on live television!
