Cambi was at the Citrus Heights Police Department 4th Annual Traffic Safety Fair and Police Motorcycle Competition at the Sunrise Mall! The event is an opportunity to allow the community to interact with members of the Police Department. Cambi was at the Sacramento County Bradshaw Animal Shelter for Barks & Books in hopes of letting people stop by and buy some books and possibly take home a pet. Cambi was checking out The House Dresser located in historic Downtown Woodland and has been a part of the town for over 20 years! The House Dresser specializes in antiques coupled with new retro items and more. Cambi and Kevin were with The Yolo County Library and the Friends of the Yolo Branch Library who hosted the “Cruisin’ into the Next Chapter” Classic Car and Truck Show.

Tina was at Elk Grove Regional Park for the 5th Annual Elk Grove Multicultural Festival took place today. Tina was getting a preview of California Day of Preparedness with California OES where visitors will learn about emergency preparedness as well as experience a variety of disaster readiness demonstrations, including a mobile earthquake simulator, watch water rescues, and see the skills of search and rescue dogs in action
Nha was at Roseville Utility Exploration Center checking out Curby’s Waste-a-Palooza to find out what happens when you throw stuff away or send it down the drain. Nha was checking out the Roseville BMX Finals where this weekend over 2,000 Riders and Spectators will be at Oak Creek BMX for a HUGE event! BMX racers from throughout California will be arriving in hopes of racing their way to glory in the BMX NorCal State Finals!! BMX NorCal State Finals is the event to go to this weekend if you love BMX. Nha was at The Studio who hosted a FREE workshop to help keep you safe. Nha was with Placer County Sheriff's as they Fill The Pack. Placer County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue teams are responsible for saving so many lives.
Melissa / Cody talked with Dr. Ken Christian of Impact Performer who is a licensed psychologist focusing on helping people express their true potential. Melissa's Run Don't Walk Deal of the Day Ideas for School Lunches. Dale Cody Melissa go head to head in a Good Day Air Guitar Contest. Melissa got a preview of local firefighters who are filling the boot for a good cause to help the Burn Institute. They will be at the intersection of 16th St. & L St. to “Fill the Boot for Burns. Today on Good Day Tina was getting a preview of California Day of Preparedness with California OES where visitors will learn about emergency preparedness as well as experience a variety of disaster readiness demonstrations, including a mobile earthquake simulator, watch water rescues, and see the skills of search and rescue dogs in action. There will be music and food as well.

Today on Good Day Melissa got a preview of local firefighters who are filling the boot for a good cause to help the Burn Institute. They will be at the intersection of 16th St. & L St. to “Fill the Boot for Burns.” This Boot Drive is being held for the Firefighters Burn Institute, a local Firefighter run nonprofit that offers support and services for those who have suffered a devastating burn injury.

Nha: Fill the Pack
Today on Good Day Nha was with Placer County Sheriff's as they Fill The Pack. Placer County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue teams are responsible for saving so many lives; this spring, they led the days-long search for lost hiker Cody Michael after he went missing in the local mountains. And two weeks ago, veteran ground searcher Steve Wolf was shot by an unknown assailant while searching rugged Nevada County for a lost 72-year-old man. Now they need the public’s help with a first-time fund-raising event called “Fill the Pack.” Similar to the “Fill the Boot” efforts of firefighters, all search and rescue teams will be at two Roseville locations to “fill the pack” with donations from citizens. Donations will be used to purchase specialized search equipment, critical medical supplies, and specialized training for team members.
