Today's Recap:
Heather was previewing Edible Extravaganza which is back for the 30th year on September 1st. An event that host local food artisans to raise money for the Center For Human Services! In honor of its 30th year, they are throwing this year back in time and going all 80’s! Attendees will dress in their 1980’s best while eating food, sipping drinks, and raising money for a great cause. Heather was at Weberstown Mall checking out the San Joaquin Certified Farmers Market that has everything from local farm fresh eggs, homemade honey, fresh produce, and more. Heather was at Louis Park in Stockton getting a preview of the Bathtub Races that have have been happening for the last six years.


Cambi was at High Hill Ranch and Abel's Apple Acres in Apple Hill as the Fall season is upon us when Apple Hill officially opens! This weekend many of the hills are celebrating their grand re-openings for the season or having their soft openings as they gear up for their huge opening next weekend.


Nha was at the 42nd Annual Buffalo Stampede 10 Mile Run where the fastest-ever American over age 50 in the 5K and 10K, 5-time cross country masters runner of the year, coach with author Peter Magill who has come to Sacramento. Nha got a preview of Shrek The Musical Now Playing at Runaway Stage through September 18th at the 24th Street Theatre. Nha was at California Automobile Museum where it’s time to celebrate the Pickup Truck with a tailgate party. It’s the 10th annual Woofstock and today on Good Day Nha was there as the parade was going on. The event is free to attend and 27 Canine rescue groups benefit from the event and will be there adopting out dogs.

Melissa was with Sasha from Apricot Lane Boutique who showed the Fall Fashion Must-Haves that ladies will need to have to look their very best. Back to school shopping isn’t just for kids anymore, moms need to look their best so they can feel great about themselves too.

Today on Good Day Nha was at California Automobile Museum where it’s time to celebrate the Pickup Truck with a tailgate party! The Pickup Truck exhibit at the California Automobile Museum allows people to come dressed in their best flannels or other pickup truck-inspired outfits and enjoy food and ice cream served in little paper trucks that will be available for purchase along with free interactive activities for kids such as a “selfie station” with costumes and props!

There is a kids bathtub race and an adult bathtub race. The motto is “anything that floats besides a boat.” Participants get very creative, using either bathtubs, buckets, etc. Winner gets the glory and a trophy to show off for the year…until the next bathtub races!
