Favorite Story of the Day: Spill the Wine:
Today's favorite story of the day was from Putah Winery in Davis. I do not think anyone could have as much fun stomping grapes as Melissa did today. She also learned how the grape to the wine process works making this my favorite story of the day. 



Gymnast: 
Today on Good Day Melissa was in Elk Grove talking to one teen sensation. Christian is heading the the USA championships and got in one last practice before he goes.

Comedian/Actor Aries Spears is in town this weekend to play at Punchline. Today Aries stopped by the Good Day Studio to talk about it.

Michael Marks was in Manteca at Perry and sons talking about watermelon.

The Zoo:
Animals need to eat and they like humans have their own diet. Today on Good Day Kristin was at the Sacramento Zoo finding out all they do in the kitchen and she even fed some of the animals (or at least witnessed) including the lions.

Mark had a couple of Infotainment reports. One included talking about the "The Giver" With Jeff Bridges and author of the book Lois Lowry, the other was talking about a new game honoring Robin Williams who he himself was a big gamer himself plus Mark said you can win an Ipad Mini at 3:57pm today on Now 100.5



Shakin' Not Stirred:
If you love the McDonald's Shakin Fries then you are going to love the new Shakin Chicken. These little nuggets go on sale Monday but today on Good Day they got a sneak peak taste test.



Back to School with Ikea:
It's true, You have to put the furniture together yourself. However today on Good Day they Ikea put it together to show Courtney what they have to offer in furniture perfect for any dorm.



Fools Gold Sandwich:
Rivers Edge Cafe was in studio today making a Peanut Butter, Jelly, Banana Bacon sandwich. Daniel Radcliffe loves these and brought it up last week when he talked to Marianne, Julissa and Mark about his movie What If.

Today is National Best Friend Day so on Marianne's Daily List she talked about what makes a good best friend such as being there for them. 



Weird:
Do you need a safe? Well don't steal one like this weird safe stealer did by hooking it to the back of his car and driving with it dragging for 200 miles before being caught.

Every band has their share of issues but you don't want to miss today's Manly Minute with Ken where he gave 5 band members no band needs.
