Opening Statement:
Before getting to my Hall of Fame Edition Opening Statement I have some Local Reporter NEWS!!!

As you know I always monitor all the goings on with the local news personalities and last night it was reported that local Fox40 reporter Sabrina Rodrigues would be taking a leave of absence due to some legal issues. I will not have further comment on this until either Sabrina or Fox40 issue a statement on the goings on.

However I will add this if the accusations of what Sabrina is accused of doing are true then she needs to own up to it and pay the consequences for her actions. As Sabrina would say "Don't Be That Guy" but in this case "Don't Be That Gal".

Favorite Story of the Day:
Today's Favorite Story of the Day is two different Stories. The first story is about a very special photographer that Heather introduced us to.

Nicole Byington is one photographer that makes people GREAT. Nicole specializes in photoing kids with Autism and she is an accredited Photographer by "Special Kids Photography of America"

My second favorite story of the day comes from the studio and who was in it. Ben Portsmouth is the name being used by Elvis Presley. I am conviced that if Elvis is alive he moved to England and became Ben Portsmouth.

Ben is amazing performer. He won Tribute Artist of the year in 2012, He won my vote for the century

These 2 amazing people Nicole showing her talent in photos and Ben showing his talent in performing are easy choice for my favorite story of the day.

Blind Melon:
Michael Marks was in studio talking about melons and how they provide water and low calories on a hot summer day. Again Michael is the BEST Produce Man I know.

Farmers Market:
Cambi was at the New location of the Midtown Farmers Market Today on Good Day.

Classic Cars and Vintage Items:
Heather was in Salida, CA checking out the Vintage Warehouse Sale and Classic Car show today on Good Day.

Dog Gone It:
Lori was at the Green Acres Dog Day of Summer event taking place now August 7th at ALL Stores.

Quiet Riot:
Riot Maker was in studio performing on the Good Day stage prior to being one of 3 bands performing at Sactown Wing Fest later this month

Consigner:
We love SALES, More importantly today on Good Day Lori was at Designer Consigner checking out their amazing deals on all things including Louis Vuitton

Synchronized:
A local Synchronized Swim team is heading to nationals. Today on Good Day Cambi was hanging out with them but did not get into the pool. If you want to donate head over to their website and follow the link on the upper left corner.

WingFest:
SacTown Wing Fest takes place August 23 and Fremont Park. Today not only did RiotMaker perform on the Good Day stage but one of the restaurants taking part in the even was in studio making wings and more for the crew. Chicago Fire Pizza made Cody feel better from his hunger woes this morning with their awesome wings.

Color With Me:
Cambi was in Downtown Sacramento today as the Color Run kicked off. This 5K run is full of fun and rainbow colors.

For Vets:
Lori was in South Sac checking out a rummage sale taking place today and tomorrow benefiting Veterans.

Splash Down Roseville:
Splash Roseville is taking place September 13 and today on Good Day the event organizer along with The Place in Roseville came into the studio to talk about the event. Get your tickets now $80 per single or $99 for a couple. The Splash will have over 30 restaurants and Breweries taking place including The Place Italian Restaurant on Vernon Street.

Herald Days:
Heather was in Herald, CA for the Herald Days. This event takes place every first weekend in August.

Taste of Italy:
Today on Good Day Cambi was at the Annual Festa Italiana at the Croatian Cultural Center in Sacramento. The event takes place today on tomorrow. You can see beautiful cars and taste great Italian Food.

Travel Subscription:
Amy was with Ashley and Samantha of Hazel Lane where you can get all your travel accessories in a box. This is a pretty cool idea for sure.

Ice Cream:
Today is National Ice Cream Day so Lori headed to Davis to check out to Davis to try Cream Nation Ice Cream and they are opening in Elk Grove, Sacramento and more

Tomorrow:
Looking ahead to tomorrow We Ask Eleanor, Ask the Plant Lady, Dress Fiend Fashion Blogger, BACON MANIA and of course Dishin With Tina and much more fun starting at 7am with Cody, Amy and the entire weekend crew. Melissa returns Monday.
