With the Good Day Lunar Lunacy team winning the photo contest this year today on Good Day Nha claimed their prize and got details on another event hosted by the Rotary Club of Point West. The California Brewers Festival taking place Saturday Sept 17th at Discovery Park from 1-5pm will benefit 100% of proceeds to local Sacramento children’s charities and Weave.inc. Nha talked with the Marysville Police Chief Aaron Easton and the Conn Family about area police chief’s act of kindness that is getting national attention. Marysville's’ Chief Aaron Easton and his family just recently returned from a taping in Los Angeles with Dr. Phil to share the story of how he decided to help out a family in need this past Christmas. The Conns car broke down just before Christmas and Chief Easton helped get them not one, but two cars. But the good deeds didn’t stop with the new wheels.

Benefiting Children's Valley Hospital Heather was at Color The Skies where the Ripon Chamber Foundation will be hosting Soaring Over Ripon Hot Air Balloon Festival this weekend. Heather was with Michael Bernard Fitzgerald who is a popular music and songwriter from Calgary, Canada who will be playing tonight at 20 North in Lodi.

Melissa was at Junction Elementary School checking out to see if it's possible with the hottest accessory in Hollywood the Ty-Lite. Melissa was with the kids at Junction Elementary School trying out the Stomp Rocket that launches rockets 150 feet into the air with the help of a little one’s stomp. Melissa was at Unseen Heroes where exciting things are happening in Oak Park The Pop-Up Shop, Display California, is getting a makeover and a new neighbor store called Damas a women’s concept store opens today and Unseen Heroes, the folks behind all the changes.

Dave was getting a preview of Gold Rush Days that returns to Old Sacramento this Labor Day Weekend and it promises all the fun and FREE crowd-pleasing favorites plus entertaining new elements and evening activities, too including John Armand Good Day's News Director was in the Dunk Tank to donate $25 to Make-A-Wish for each Dunk.


Tina was getting a preview of the Sac Rainbow Festival which is an annual LGBTI Pride event held in Sacramento over Labor Day weekend.


Kevin was at Sam's Club on Power Inn Road learning more about Supper For Superheroes where you can be a superhero and help the kids at the UC Davis Children’s Hospital.
