The Axiom Youth Center in Downtown Lincoln needs your help. They are holding a benefit dinner next week at Beermann's Brewery and today Cambi was finding out what they do for kids in the area and meeting some of them who utilize the youth center. Cambi was at The Taylor House learning more about Harvest Gala Oct. 6th at Timber Creek Ballroom. Cambi was at Sierra College who is teaming up Hacker Lab to offer 3D printing classes where you can get a up close and personal look at these 3D printers at the mini Maker Faire.



Heather was with some amazing ladies at the Assistance league of Stockton who are using puppets to help teach 3rd grade children about acceptance of others who are “different” and how to stay safe both at school and home. Heather was with the kids at Sierra High School in Manteca Unified School District and finding out more about their Be Fresh Program.


Nha was with Jami at Home Depot getting tips on redoing your kitchen on a Budget.



Dave was at Salvation Army Learning Center from taekwondo to steel drums, the Salvation Army Learning Center is offering various classes. Dave was with Chef Charlie Wright for A farm-to-fork fun two-fer! One delicious event raising money for two amazing organizations Skate MD and Sheriff Toy Project. Dave was with one of the featured chefs from DoubleTree at the first-ever farm-to-fork fall fundraiser for Sacramento Hotel Association


Tina was at the New IHop in Roseville.

On August 30th Courtney sat in on a Elite Body Sculpting procedure where a woman got her arm waggles taken care of, today on on Good Day we saw the end results and found out if it really worked. So You Think You Can Dance has crowned their 2016 winner and it’s a young man Good Day has been following for more than 5 years! Lil Kida Burns and today he joined Courtney to celebrate his win.


It’s navy week in Sacramento! Yesterday Ken was with the Navy bomb squad, today on Good Day the Navy Band and Constitution Sailors will perform prior to their performance tonight at Sacramento Memorial Auditorium and over the weekend at California Capital Air Show. Showcasing some fun products and an app for parents to check out today on Good Day Julissa had some fun innovations to make life a little easier now that school is back in session.

Cambi: Taylor House
Today on Good Day Cambi was at The Taylor House learning more about Harvest Gala Oct. 6th at Timber Creek Ballroom. Taylor House is a home that was renovated to be a place for former foster youth to live as they transition into the real world. They offer affordable rents for foster girls between the ages of 18-21. They are having a benefit event next week and they need people to go to this to keep the house up and running.

How cool is this?! October is national farm to school month and what better way to celebrate it than with local High-school students at Sierra High School who not only maintain five acres of crops but they pick the food and then participate in the Be.Fresh (boundless education.farming responsibly and encouraging student harvest) program where they also help in preparing the food for school lunches.
