Tina was with Sacramento SPCA for this week's Pet of the Week. This week we met 7 year old Ward who is a Chiweenie. Tina was with Localis Executive Chef & Partner Chris Barnum who demoed and showcase a fun Beats Salad (he’s also a musician/drummer) on his Dine Downtown menu. He uses a number of different kinds of beets prepared different ways (baby ones, raw, cooked, different colors, striped, etc.). He can also talk about how he compares preparing a dish to writing a song. 2016 Dine Downtown Restaurant Week Now thru January 16
Courtney was at Step 1 Dance and Fitness with 7 Prominent fitness creators from all over California (from San Jose to San Diego) to highlight dance fitness as a viable option to avoid resolution failures.

Final Thought on today's show
As we close out today's Throwback Thursday how amazing was Dorothy Hamill. She looks amazing. It's funny I was thinking when Marianne asked about her Ice Skating still. Ice Skating with her would be like Car Karaoke with Adelle and that's just not fair albeit very cool. With today also National Dress Up Your Pet Day Angel was checking out Adoptable Pets at Front Street Shelter while Tina was with Sacramento SPCA Pet of the Week Ward. Plus we got to see Dave's Dog Shadow in his King's T-Shirt. If you're going to the snow it's important to know how to protect yourself and today Cody was with Casey from Granite Chief Ski and Mountain Shop to talk about their Avalanche Safety Class while it made for a fun moment it was also a very serious topic. Getting Fit in 2016 continued with Courtney as she was checking out several dance companies in town for a Dance Fitness class. Melissa was back to save you money with ways to eat at home and get healthy at the same time. The Oscar Nominations are out and one of the movies nominated has local ties with a photograph in the Old Well Cafe pictured in the movie. As we close out today's Throwback Thursday how amazing was Dorothy Hamill. She looks amazing. It's funny I was thinking when Marianne asked about her Ice Skating still. Ice Skating with her would be like Car Karaoke with Adelle and that's just not fair albeit very cool. With today also National Dress Up Your Pet Day Angel was checking out Adoptable Pets at Front Street Shelter while Tina was with Sacramento SPCA Pet of the Week Ward. Plus we got to see Dave's Dog Shadow in his King's T-Shirt. If you're going to the snow it's important to know how to protect yourself and today Cody was with Casey from Granite Chief Ski and Mountain Shop to talk about their Avalanche Safety Class while it made for a fun moment it was also a very serious topic. Getting Fit in 2016 continued with Courtney as she was checking out several dance companies in town for a Dance Fitness class. Melissa was back to save you money with ways to eat at home and get healthy at the same time. The Oscar Nominations are out and one of the movies nominated has local ties with a photograph in the Old Well Cafe pictured in the movie.
