Zootopia Wins Box Office / #MarkattheMovies Tribute... Box Office Report Week 3/11/2016 - 3/13/2016



As we put a close to the 2nd week of March Zootopia continues to dominate at the Box Office. It's not even in the same area code. This weekend Zootopia finished with an estimated $50,000,000. Coming in at the 2nd spot this week is 10 Cloverfield Lane with an estimated $25,200,000. Taking the 3rd spot this week and holding steady from last week is Deadpool with an estimated $10,800,000. London Has Fallen has taken the 4th Spot with an estimated $10,668,000. Rounding out the top 5 this weekend is Whiskey Tango Foxtrot with an estimated $4,600,000.



Finally: For many years I would write about the recap of Mark at the Movies and recently that came to an end. On Friday Mark sadly stepped away from TV and will no longer be doing the show but It was Mark that gave me the blessing to do this and continue to plug his movie show week after week. I want to thank Mark for everything he taught me and given me the outlet to use my writing skills. I learned a lot about Television. Movies, and all the hard work he, Ashley Williams, and the entire line up of Mark at the Movies put in each week. While the show will no longer continue I will still continue to provide the Box Office updates but this week I wanted to include a photo tribute to Mark at the Movies for the Memories. This Week's Box Office Report is Dedicated to all of you

We are in the 3rd week of May and we have a NEW #1 Movie at the Box Office and they are Angry. Not just any Angry but Angry Birds with an estimated $39,000,000. After 2 weeks at #1 Captain America - Civil War will fall to #2 with an estimated $33,114,000. Coming in at #3 this week will be Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising $21,790,000. The Nice Guys will finish in a distant 4th spot with an estimated $11,270,000. The Jungle Book (2016)  $11,017,000.
