Saturday September 19. It's another busy Good Day show today with a lot of fun activities for GREAT Causes. Taking place today from 10-6pm The 10th Annual Chicken Festival in Village of Fair Oaks. Not only is it Talk Like a Pirate Day but it's also Clean up the Coast Day. So groups will be cleaning the American River. As you know 2 fires burned many homes over the last week, week and half SEVERAL Fundraisers are taking place today to help those fire victims. Daisy Troop is having a Butte Fire Donation Drive in Carmichael, The Moustache and Beard Social Club is holding a donation drive to help the folks of Middletown with all donations going to R Ranch At The Lake. Ironclad Gym is hosting a Strongman/Strongwoman contest. Kristin is checking out Lowe Chiropractic a father and son business. If you've ever wanted to Bike with the Mayor now is your chance from 12-3pm Sacramento's Mayor and West Sacramento Mayor are bike riding and want you to come along. Take a tour of the Sac Open Studio today and tomorrow from 10-5pm Rocklin is hosting it's Annual Hot Chilli and Classic Car show and Tina is going to be a judge from 10-3pm today. Gabe from Travelzoo is back with some more Travelzoo ideas while Comedian John Witherspoon stops by before he takes the stage at Tommy T's. Cambi was with Daisy Troop at Western Feed in Carmichael who are having a Donation drive for #ButteFire Victims.

Kristin was at Ironclad Strength and Conditioning for Strongman and Strongwoman contest. Kristin was checking out one local business where both father and son know best! Lowe Chiropractic. Kristin was on the American River where more than 1,200 volunteers will help remove trash and debris from the Parkway for the The Great American River Clean-up.

Tina was with Mary Christopher Cabaldon to learn more about The Gear Up Cycle for Youth Bike Ride. Tina was getting a preview of the Verge Art Open Tours at Brickhouse. Tina was checking out this years, 22nd Annual Hot Chili and Cool Cars in Rocklin

Melissa was with Yelp Sacramento Community Manager Alex Lane to talk about the Yelp Stache Bash event! Melissa was learning about some back to school skin care tips with My Clarity MD.

Cody was with The Moustache and Beard Social Club who is known for throwing huge events! But this time around they are here due to devastating fires that have hit our area. Cody got reviewed from Alex The Yelp Guy. Cody was With Darren Desimone with CAFS Fire Safety getting tips to protect your home.

Cody had several good moments having fun with the return of Doctor Who tonight on BBC Channel including Cambi checking out Connors Tardis and the Cosplay Weeping Angel hanging around the studio.
Kristin previewed the Strongman / Strongwoman contest at IronClad then went to a Father/Son Chiropractic office to check out their awesome type of treatment before she headed to the River to see how the clean up was going.
Tina first hung out with West Sacramento Mayor Christopher Cabaldon for their annual Bike Ride to benefit kids. Before going to Brickhouse Art as part of the Sac Open Tour and then to Rocklin for some Hot Chili and Classic Cars.
Cambi was also having some fun when she headed to Krispy Kreme for Pirate Day where you can get a free dozen if you look like a pirate and she also checked out the 10th Annual Fair Oaks Chicken Fest.
Cody was checking out the Scotch Egg at 36 Handles and learned how you can protect your home with CAFS Fire Safety. Plus the Kitchen Overlord stopped by to talk about her Doctor Who Cookbook.
