What a show today turned out to be. It was busy from start to finish and leading off today's Recap is Melissa. Melissa was with a local viewer who made Edible Roses out of Apples bake them for about 35 minutes on 350 and you get a pretty awesome edible art. Melissa then headed to the Grand Opening celebration of Rita’s of Folsom where to first 50 people through the door got FREE Italian Ice for a year. Melissa finished out her day with the creator of “Fabritype” is known for his masterpieces! He’s working on the new “Flight Zone” exhibit and flight simulator experience at the Aerospace Museum of Northern California. If you're like me and love Aerospace and history this is something to check out.
Julissa was very busy. She filled in for Laura on CBS 13 this morning from 5-7am before coming over to the Good Day side where the voice of Sac Republic Rob McCallister stopped by to talk with Julissa about the Sac Republic FC VS LA Galaxy 2 Saturday at Bonney Field. Filed from Wednesday after the postponement Julissa was a bit nosey taking a look inside an East Sac home! it’s one of the homes featured in this weekends urban renaissance home tour! the tour highlights five new and remodeled east sac homes. Proceeds of this event help maintain McKinley Park.
Tina Macuha was with a local chefmate Ed Lopez from Hawks Restaurant helping Chef Fagoni who is participating in the largest national competition of its kind and he needs your help to win. Make sure you use the link below to vote and vote often for Chef Fagoni.
Courtney and the Gals Took the She Shed Back after it was ruined last month with help from Tem Paper and Home Depot. Courtney was also with Sacramento SPCA for Pet of the Week.
Kristin started her day with a beautiful Sunrise getting a look at the work being done at Sun City Lincoln Hills Retirement Lodge where they are doing a new solar project for the home. Kristin then was back at All About Equine checking in on the rescued foals that we have followed since the day they arrived at all about equine animal rescue.
Cody started in the Weather Center as he normally does showing different types of Pizza being made in honor of the Pope Visiting the United States But Cody's Shining Moment came when he quickly started to work on getting the Mother Pigeon on the show. At around 725a that talk took place via Face Time with with Mother Pigeon who made the Plushie Pizza Rat after a rat was seen carrying down a slice of Pizza. Cody then went to Nugget Market with Reed Pattinson aka "Cheese Whiz" getting a preview and sample of Local Cheese and Meats perfect for Football season and just in time for Sacramento’s biggest Farm-to-Fork celebration.
Like a Rhinestone Cowboy Mark headed to Rancho Murieta where he learned more about the International Horse Show taking place this weekend at Murieta Equestrian Center.
