Before we get into all of what took place today let's remember it is Cody's Birthday so be sure to wish him a Happy one.
As the reporters jumped out of their beds to get ready for the day the scrambled to check their notes so they had the BEST possible information to pass onto the viewers during today's show. So starting off with Cambi she first went to check out some classic antique items up for auction at Witherell's Antique Auction. This is the second of the Big items they have each year. She saw a lot of very cool items from Model Boats to other sea items to one of the paintings showed was bought at a Thrift Store for $2.50 and will go for about $5,000. After all her auction fun Cambi headed ot You Brew it to learn how you can make/brew your own beer and wine.
Melissa started her day with a shot of Espresso. Not that she needs it with her High Energy but it was for a GREAT Cause. Melissa was in Fairfield at Dutch Bros. for a special donation drive. If you bring 3 school items to donate you'll receive a 9 Stamp Card. This is ONLY for the Fairfield Location. Melissa was then with Dr. Tanghetti from The Center for Dermatology and Laser Surgery learning how to get rid of the double (or sometimes triple) chin without major plastic surgery. Melissa finished her day was with a local girl who wants people to sign her car so of course in Classic Good Day style Melissa did.
In one of my FAVORITE Good Day Segments Courtney was back in the Fashion Forum with Audrey, Julissa, Laura, Ken and Special Guest Shawn L Brown for Post Emmy Fashion Forum Pass or Fail.
Julissa revealed Good Day is now on Snapchat.at #GoodDaySac31 GREAT Now I need to learn how to use it. Julissa was also with Arnold from Buffalo Chips along with a local Runner Gary to talk about“Run Free” a remarkable documentary with local connections being shown tonight at the Crest Theater. Laura and Julissa also joined in on talking with Shawn L Brown who answered viewer hair questions.
Marianne and Ken had a lot of actors and actresses stop by today. They first talked with Zoe Lister Jones and Colin Hanks about their new show Life in Pieces on CBS. With the Emmy's Last Night The Insider's Debbie Matenopoulos, Louis Aguirre joined to talk about the 67th Annual Emmy Awards. However that was not all Ken and Marianne also talked with Katharine McPhee about Season 2 of Scorpion airing tonight at 9pm on CBS ( 8pm CBS13) in addition to The Hair Doctor stopping by to give Hair Tips.
After Mark did his News of the Weird he headed to meet ups with a Group of Christian Brothers students heading to meet the Pope when he arrives in the United States later this week.but first the students got to meet Mark before he stopped off at Yum Yum Donuts to deliver them to Elk Grove homes including Bailiff Petri Hawkins Byrd who is starting his 20th year on Judge Judy today.

Final Thought on today's show
As we put a bow on today's show and think about tomorrow some of my favorite moments of today came when Courtney had her Fashion forum. This has always been a favorite of mine. I always enjoy seeing The Hair Doctor, Shawn L Brown. I always enjoy seeing the auction items at Witherell's. The Model Boats Cambi showed were awesome. Anytime Dutch Bros gets behind a fundraiser it's a good thing. Today Melissa showed once again how GREAT they are for the community this time in Fairfield. She was one of my favorites on American Idol and today Katharine McPhee joined to talk about Scorpion Season 2. Colin Hanks also stopped by along with his new co-star Zoe Lister Jones to talk about their show and Mark running into Petri Hawkins Byrd delivering donuts is always fun. I really liked Petri's shirt saying no pictures please while the camera was taking his photo the entire time. Of course none of this is possible without everyone at Good Day for their help and that includes today's Birthday Boy Cody. i owe him, Mark, John, Courtney, Tina, Melissa a HUGE Thank you. Final Thought on today's show
As we put a bow on today's show and think about tomorrow some of my favorite moments of today came when Courtney had her Fashion forum. This has always been a favorite of mine. I always enjoy seeing The Hair Doctor, Shawn L Brown. I always enjoy seeing the auction items at Witherell's. The Model Boats Cambi showed were awesome. Anytime Dutch Bros gets behind a fundraiser it's a good thing. Today Melissa showed once again how GREAT they are for the community this time in Fairfield. She was one of my favorites on American Idol and today Katharine McPhee joined to talk about Scorpion Season 2. Colin Hanks also stopped by along with his new co-star Zoe Lister Jones to talk about their show and Mark running into Petri Hawkins Byrd delivering donuts is always fun. I really liked Petri's shirt saying no pictures please while the camera was taking his photo the entire time. Of course none of this is possible without everyone at Good Day for their help and that includes today's Birthday Boy Cody. i owe him, Mark, John, Courtney, Tina, Melissa a HUGE Thank you. Tune into Good Day tomorrow 430-10a on #CW31 and 7-10a on KBCW for Tina's return and The Car Czar who did not appear last week as scheduled.
