Today's Recap:
After 2 days of Special Fire Coverage Good Day returned to it's normal show. Yes they still had updates but today they didn't dedicate the entire show. I will say over the course of the 2 days they did an excellent job with it especially having Cal Fire PIO Daniel Berlant in studio to talk about the fires as well as provide up to the minute coverage.
So since they returned to normal these stories were covered today. With the Fall Season starting so too is the fall season of shows and it's time to preview some of your favorites. Hot Bench Judges stopped by to talk about their new season. Dr. Phil stopped by to talk about his 14th Season. Craig Ashton of Ashton and Price stopped by to answer viewer questions. Classic Party Rentals showed how to get ready for this Sunday's 67th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. McDonald's gave back to students with FREE Breakfast. Gold Country Veteran Stand Down an event where vets showed came for food and more Moda is a a place for fashion designers to work and showcase and sell their designs.Make-a-Wish is holding a special Brunch Saturday but today Tina got a preview with Chef Q. Two new restaurants are coming to Sacramento but first walls must come down and today on Good Day Cambi was giving a hand. Cambi was at Moda California who just opened in May. They are a place for fashion designers to work and showcase and sell their designs.

Courtney was at the KVIE studio. KVIE is hosting their 34th annual art auction this weekend,

Tina was at McDonald's who provided FREE Breakfast for K-8th Grade Students until 930a when accompanied by an adult. Tina was getting a preview of Make-A-Wish! It’s on Saturday, September 19th from 11-2.

Sean and Heather Provided updates all morning long on the 2 fires burning. Sean was at the Valley Fire where it has now burned 67,000 acres and is 15 percent contained.
Heather was at the Butte Fire where it has now burned 71,660 and is 37% contained.
Both Fire numbers where updated at 7am PST. Tomorrow Good Day, CBS Sacramento, KBCW and the Red Cross are teaming up to bring Victim Relief. Tomorrow's Call in Show to donate funds will take place between 6am - 10am and all funds will be distributed by Red Cross between the 2 fires. So please tune in and help with whatever you can.
