It's the first Saturday of October and it's beginning to look a lot like fall with cooler temperatures, falling leaves, and new TV Shows starting up including The Flash on Tuesday October 6th meaning the return of the #CodyFlashMob is just days away and the boys at Speedforce Podcast stopping by to chat about the new season. Speaking of Flash and Comic book heroes Ben Schwartz from Empire Comic Vault is holding a Creative Women Mini-Con and we get a preview of this very cool event. Also taking place today 29th Annual Lambtown Festival, a fest that celebrates all things lamb this weekend at Dixon Fairgrounds. The city of Lincoln is celebrating salmon! The Wildlife Heritage Foundation is gearing up for the 6th annual Salmon Celebration to bring awareness to the migrating salmon population. We check in on the 1 year celebration at Stein Mart Inc. From 10-2pm today Orchard Supply Hardware is holding its second annual safety event at 4249 Elverta Rd., Antelope,Ca. From 10-430pm today William Jessup University is holding a Northern California Women’s Forum. Stanislaus County Probation Department is holding an Open House today. We meet local Musician Nate Dodge. Get ready to laugh before he heads to performing at Tommy T's Comedian Josh Accardo stops by to talk with Cody and Melissa. Beauty Expert Luz de la Riva stops by to give some tips. No Excuse Mom Maria Kang is back with National Calendar featuring fabulous local fit moms. 50 Shades of Funny is tonight in Stockton and one of the performers is Comedy Hypnosis Chaos we'll see what he can do today plus Todd and/or Erica from Mornings at Now 100.5FM stop by for the Music Minute and much more in today's October 3rd Edition of Celebrating Women, Comics, The Flash and More Today in the News...
Today's Recap:
Today's show was a GREAT Day for Women, Comics, The Flash, and Fun. Leading off our coverage as she normally does if Shopping at 7am sounds like a great thing to do, Celebrating their 1st Anniversary Cambi was at Stein Mart in Citrus Heights. Cambi then headed to South Sacramento where she was at the Saint. Luke's Church Fall Festival where money raised goes back to the community and school programs and of course Cambi and Scott took time to stick their heads in the standups. Cambi was then found at Orchard Supply Hardware Antelope location who held its second annual safety event, which began as a way to help the community be aware of potential safety hazards in and outside of the home. Cambi finished out her day when she checked in with the different workshops for the 5th Annual Assemblywoman Beth Gaines’ Northern California Women’s Forum at William Jessup University.
With Kristin spending her last day at Good Day last weekend, Kevin is once again filling in when needed and today he had quite the cool start to his day when we found Kevin with a local family who has a Dr. Who Tardis Refrigerator. In addition they are the business Legendary Letters that Cody talked about Friday in Show and Tell. Kevin then was getting a preview of the 29th Annual Lambtown Festival, a fest that celebrates all things lamb. The event takes place today 9-6pm Sunday 9-5pm and Dixon May Fair. Kevin then continued the preview of the Empire's Comic Vault Mini Women's Con before ending his day learning Fly Fishin at the City of Lincoln Salmon Celebration.
Heather joined the Saturday show when she started her day getting a preview of the Stanislaus County Probation Department who is offering an open house to the public. She also got a friendly reminder you want to see the department today the way she saw it not the way it's seen normally. Heather was a safe zone when she was checking out the Superhero Fun Run in Lodi. Heather finished out her day at the ceremony in Stockton where a new Scoreboard will be unveiled in honor of Misty Holt Singh. Misty was tragically lost during a Stockton Bank Robbery.
Lori had a couple of segments first In today's Pinterest Ideas of the Week - Halloween ideas and of course Lori had today's Hot Headlines that included a Kardashian showing her closet.
Before Melissa got hypnotized she got beauty tips from expert Luz de la Riva who introduced products that radiate sensuality with a fresh youthful feeling that is unparalleled. Melissa then was with a group of mom's in the National Calendar featuring fabulous local fit moms! Melissa finished out her day with Comedy Hypnotist Darin Frazier who told Melissa every time she hears Pudding she will shout "I Love Good Day Sacramento" I hope that never ends.
Cody had GREAT day. First he gave all your Science News in today's edition of Cody Slaps You with Science. Cody then was with Ben Schwartz with 2 female artists/writers featured at today's Empire Comics 3rd annual Creative Women Mini-Con. Cody was with 10 year Duncan who solved the Rubik's Cube in just over 1 minute to be exact it was 1 minute 15 seconds. Cody was getting a preview of Tonight's “50 Shades of Funny: The show features headlining caliber “stand up” comedians such as Steph Garcia along with a “Las Vegas style” comedy hypnosis show with Darin Frazier. Cody finished out his with with the guys from Speedforce Podcast. We are just a few days before season two of The Flash (Tuesday nights CW31) and of course that brings us to another season of #Codyflashmob
When Cody and Melissa tagged team today we got to know new floor crew member Aaron and viewers gave him advice throughout the show on working at Good Day. Cody / Melissa also talked with Josh Accardo who is an energetic, in-demand, in-your-face stand-up comic performing at Tommy T's tonight and tomorrow. Cody and Melissa talked with Nate Dodge, local musician who has recently written music for one of the year’s hottest reality shows.

With Kristin spending her last day at Good Day last weekend, Kevin is once again filling in when needed and today he had quite the cool start to his day when we found Kevin with a local family who has a Dr. Who Tardis Refrigerator. In addition they are the business Legendary Letters that Cody talked about Friday in Show and Tell. Kevin then was getting a preview of the 29th Annual Lambtown Festival, a fest that celebrates all things lamb. The event takes place today 9-6pm Sunday 9-5pm and Dixon May Fair. Kevin then continued the preview of the Empire's Comic Vault Mini Women's Con before ending his day learning Fly Fishin at the City of Lincoln Salmon Celebration.
Heather joined the Saturday show when she started her day getting a preview of the Stanislaus County Probation Department who is offering an open house to the public. She also got a friendly reminder you want to see the department today the way she saw it not the way it's seen normally. Heather was a safe zone when she was checking out the Superhero Fun Run in Lodi. Heather finished out her day at the ceremony in Stockton where a new Scoreboard will be unveiled in honor of Misty Holt Singh. Misty was tragically lost during a Stockton Bank Robbery.
Lori had a couple of segments first In today's Pinterest Ideas of the Week - Halloween ideas and of course Lori had today's Hot Headlines that included a Kardashian showing her closet.
Before Melissa got hypnotized she got beauty tips from expert Luz de la Riva who introduced products that radiate sensuality with a fresh youthful feeling that is unparalleled. Melissa then was with a group of mom's in the National Calendar featuring fabulous local fit moms! Melissa finished out her day with Comedy Hypnotist Darin Frazier who told Melissa every time she hears Pudding she will shout "I Love Good Day Sacramento" I hope that never ends.
Cody had GREAT day. First he gave all your Science News in today's edition of Cody Slaps You with Science. Cody then was with Ben Schwartz with 2 female artists/writers featured at today's Empire Comics 3rd annual Creative Women Mini-Con. Cody was with 10 year Duncan who solved the Rubik's Cube in just over 1 minute to be exact it was 1 minute 15 seconds. Cody was getting a preview of Tonight's “50 Shades of Funny: The show features headlining caliber “stand up” comedians such as Steph Garcia along with a “Las Vegas style” comedy hypnosis show with Darin Frazier. Cody finished out his with with the guys from Speedforce Podcast. We are just a few days before season two of The Flash (Tuesday nights CW31) and of course that brings us to another season of #Codyflashmob
When Cody and Melissa tagged team today we got to know new floor crew member Aaron and viewers gave him advice throughout the show on working at Good Day.
