Kicking for a Cure
Today on Good Day Cambi was in Manteca for a preview of the Manteca girls soccer team is suiting up for a great cause! The Lady Buffaloes will hold their annual “Kicking for a Cure” fundraiser tonight during their game vs. Lathrop! All proceeds from tonight’s silent auction and raffle go to help the family of a local 11-year-old Destiny who suffers from a rare form of osteosarcoma.

Cambi: Ageless Aviation Flights
A very cool story today on Good Day with Cambi, a group of veterans from Covenant Village Retirement Community will take to the Turlock skies in a World War II biplane as part of the Ageless Aviation Dream Flights. One resident in particular, veteran Chuck Walker, turns 94 this month and this flight will top off his birthday celebration.

Today started with horrible news of a child being taken during a car theft only to end with a happy ending of the child being found safe in the car just 2 miles from his home. The suspect is still at large but as least the child is safe and home.
Cambi had amazing Stories, Melissa had a fundraising story. Nha was checking out goofy hats and a dance show, Courtney was in the kitchen. Lets lead off with Melissa, Nha, Mark, Cambi, and end with Courtney.
Melissa was in Lincoln at Morning Star Montessori where they are teaching kids that giving back is just as if not more important to receiving. They are holding a drive for families to donate items so that the school can turn around and donate to others in need.
Nha started her day checking out a local man's Kooky, Goofy Hat Collection with at least 100 hats including a slow for the cone zone type hat. She then headed to One Step Dance to learn of an event where 3 local dance companies will be putting on a show this coming weekend at Guild Theater with help from a successful Kickstarter Campaign.
Actor Steve Coogan has a new show on Showtime called Happyish and today he joined to talked about it with Mark, Ken, and Melissa. Steve does a fantastic impression of Michael Caine and did to lead off the interview. Also Mark talked with Joni and Bob Hilton, Yes The YouTube Mom has put together a Comedy Musical about her husband Bobs prostate cancer. Bob is also known for his voice over work for several companies including the Price is Right.
Cambi had the most heart warming stories of the day first in Manteca where 2 schools are getting together to help 11 year old Destiny and her family who has a rare form of Cancer. The 2 games will take place tonight. Then Cambi was with a group of Vets who are a part of the Ageless Aviation Group and will be taking to the skies once again over Turlock. I bet these awesome vets could tell stories that would take hours to listen to and never get bored listening to. Cambi won the BEST stories of the day for me not counting the breaking news stories.
As you know Courtney's Fashion Forum follows award shows and that was the case today with the ACM Awards being handed out last night. However Courtney was in the kitchen today as well. First she was with Stephanie Golka who showed different food high in water content including Butter Lettuce with 96%. However one other food with a lot of water is Cauliflower so Courtney made 3 recipes with the vegetable and got thumbs up all around. First she made pizza, then Buffalo Wings, and finally Orange Chicken. Today on Good Day Cambi was in Manteca for a preview of the Manteca girls soccer team is suiting up for a great cause! The Lady Buffaloes will hold their annual “Kicking for a Cure” fundraiser tonight during their game vs. Lathrop! All proceeds from tonight’s silent auction and raffle go to help the family of a local 11-year-old Destiny who suffers from a rare form of osteosarcoma.

A very cool story today on Good Day with Cambi, a group of veterans from Covenant Village Retirement Community will take to the Turlock skies in a World War II biplane as part of the Ageless Aviation Dream Flights. One resident in particular, veteran Chuck Walker, turns 94 this month and this flight will top off his birthday celebration.
